Eric~ He smiled. "That's good."

Meanwhile.

Hiro~ Jerusalem was now ready for an attack. The citizens have been escorted to safety and the defenses were armed and active. Hiro sat on one of the towers in order to get a good look at the city. His feet dangled in the air as he observed.

"It is. I wonder what him and others are up to right now." Dusk stated.

Iris was standing behind Hiro. She planed to make sure to be there in case he fell off.

Lilly was checking the shield that she put up where the injured would be taken care of.

Hiro~ He quickly got back up and stood next to Iris. "It looks beautiful up here." He held Iris' hand. "... Iris... Before you met me, what exactly did you see in humans?"

"Hard to say really. I just saw strange people just struggling to live I guess. I had never seen humans before till I came to your camp." Iris told him.

Hiro~ "Oh." He looked into the distance. "I don't want to harm anyone anymore, but I can't think of any other way to make the fighting stop." He looked at Iris. "It is likely you will have to face old friends and acquaintances... When that time comes... Do only what you believe is right." He held her hands closely. In his mind, he was apologizing for all of the things he will have to do later. Hiro knew he was going to hate himself for fighting against the very beings Iris came from.

"What I believe is right is keeping the human race from being wiped out and being by your side. Lucius had more than likely branded me as a traitor already anyway." Iris told him. She looked out at the landscape.

Hiro~ He gave a sad sigh. "... I'll help you bring him down... I'll drag him in front of Lilly and force him to see the error of his ways... He needs to know how much Lilly is ashamed of him now.... And all of this talk of avenging his parents... They would never be happy for this." He felt ashamed of himself because he once thought like that at one time.

"I'm not sure he will see the error of his ways. He just lash out to be honest. Still at the least we can lock him up so he doesn't cause trouble." Iris told him.

Hiro~ He nodded. He then caught himself looking into Iris' eyes. "I promise... I'll see to it that your cousin is punished for his actions." He used the word cousin because of Lilly's and Kayor's relationship.

Iris smiled at him. The hugged him. "I'm glad I'm with you Hiro." She told him softly.

Hiro~ "Same here." He held her close... Then came the alarm. "It's time." He gave her a quick kiss on the lips and smirked. "Race you to the bottom." He jumped off the tower and used his abilities to slide down the wall.

Iris smiled. She jumped off and free fell to the bottom. She then let her wings out when she got near the bottom and landed.

Hiro~ He used magic to soften his landing, but he arrived a few seconds after Iris. Since she was an angel, this was to be expected. He then ran through the streets towards the outer wall.

Kayor~ He stood on the wall with Lilly. The angel army could be seen in the distance. There were magic users in the sky, large majestic dragons armed with canons on their backs and there were dozens of centurions charging from the ground. "They seem really keen in destroying this city."

Iris ran after Hiro following him.

"They sure are it seems. How do you feel about boucing back some of the cannon balls back at them." Lilly grinned.
