Just as Amu was finishing hanging her clothes and organizing her accessories by her dresser, she was startled by an all too familiar male voice behind her. Her muscles froze, and her honey-colored eyes widened in shock.
'No way... that voice...' she thought, her mind having trouble processing the sound. Turning around slowly, she locked eyes with none other than Ikuto Tsukiyomi.
He was a few inches taller than when she last saw him, and his body was slightly more chiseled than before. Aside from that, he had hardly changed. His cool eyes, so blue that they could swallow her whole, bored into hers. Amu had changed, as well. She had a growth spurt in high school and developed nicely. Her hair was much longer, and her face was less baby-like. Currently, a red t-shirt with a black open vest and matching black biker shorts accentuated these features.
"I-Ikuto..." was all she could say at first, and she let the earrings in her hands drop to the wooden floor.
Meanwhile, Su made her appearance from the bathroom down the hall.
"Amu-chaaan~ I clea--" she began to say as she floated to Amu's room, but she immediately covered her mouth with her tiny hands after seeing their blue-haired visitor. Ran, Miki, and Su exchanged glances between themselves and Amu, waiting for her reaction. They saw her lip begin to quiver and knew what was to come. Whether or not Amu would admit it, she had missed Ikuto terribly over the years. Together, she and the charas spent many nights talking about him and reminiscing on their adventures together. It was Amu's way of dealing with her feelings, and the little charas never minded one bit. Still, they worried about her often; this new encounter especially had them concerned.
"W-what are you d-doing here, Ikuto?" Amu stuttered, not because she was embarassed or anything. On the contrary, she was fighting back tears. Emotions welled up inside her chest, and she felt like she was struggling to catch her breath. Her hands, now dropped to her sides, clenched her shorts tightly. Why was he here? How did he know that she was here? Did he miss her as much as she missed him?? So many thoughts ran through her mind, but she felt like she was barely functioning at the moment.
((Your posting style puts my simple picture to shame. >A> I might make something more intricate later... maybe not. xD))
