When you have a older version of a computer, are you less likely to get hacked??? Because if you have a older version, you cant open up some things that require a newer version, right?
Also you have inspired me to make a word on how to prevent hacks on emails and such Crystal biggrin

Nope, it doesn't matter what operating system you use.
You can get hacked/phished on an old system (like Windows 95 or Mac OS 8)
and you can get hacked on the newest systems.
It all depends on how smart you are and if you can tell that you're falling for a phishing attempt.

I have been on Gaia many of year now, and although I already know well about information on subjects like this, I always like to read over guides such as this one as to people, like yourself, put allot of time and effort into making these guides to help keep the community safe from harms way. Even "oldies" such as myself can still learn a thing or two reading over what they already know.

Only the person who got hacked can report that their account was hacked.
I wasn't hacked, so I have no need to report it.
You can file a hack report since it is your account,
but I have nothing to do with it, so I can't do anything to help.
