Inventory Arranger Fixes and Update

Today we've tackled with the following issues with the new arranger:
- Locker items not showing up after placing item in locker
- Locker item order mixed up after new items are added
- Equipped items moved when other items are moved on the same page
- Snapshot cannot save
- Snapshot list does not show up

Please make full use of the snapshot feature, and test the arranger when you have a chance. If you encounter any problems, please provide a step by step list of what you did on the feedback thread and we will try to replicate and fix any remaining issues.

Inventory Arranger Bug Fixes

The problem with some of the edge case item shuffling actually require a complete re-write of the algorithm. But now we're really, really close to having the system completely bug free.

All of the item scrambling issue with the locker, as well as item shuffling when equipped items are on the same page had been found and fixed.

Please test the arranger when you get a chance, and let me know if you encounter any problems. Hope by this weekend we will have a solid and reliable inventory arranger.

Project Recolor Rules Updates

Hi, y'all!

We have updated a couple of rules for Project Recolor and wanted to let everyone know!

- Still poses of Astra/Animated items are permitted to be recolored. This mostly relates to license tickets, but all rules have been updated to reflect this update.

- Accessory License has been updated to allow hats! We have decided this will be okay, but we may have to adjust the ruling for what is allowed as time goes by. For now, the rules have been updated with our current rules for hats. In addition, I know belts have been a confusing situation with the Accessory License, so I have added some clarification that I hope will help!

Dark mode post styles

As we already mentioned before - we are continuing to improve Forums Dark Mode, and the new update brings a set of Dark Mode versions of Post Styles.
For now, we have Say, Chain, Drippy, Ghost, Paw and Prism styles with the rest of them coming soon as well.

Hello Gaians! Hope your cookie camping adventures have been good!
We've found a few bugs in the woods and we've been able to squash the ones that are giving us trouble!

Bug Squishing Updates

yum_candycorn Points shouldn't be lagging behind anymore! All points you earned are logged in the "history" section at the bottom of the event page, and should now fill up your prize bars accordingly.
yum_candycorn Prize claiming errors should be fixed! Achievements may take a minute or two to fully grant after clicking claim.

Visual updates

yum_redstrawberry Stages on Hard Mode now has a visual indicator next to your stage level (it will say "hard mode," can't miss it!)
yum_redstrawberry Promote/Map styles: if you purchase Jay, Peyo, or Scupper's map when you make a thread, it should now show the respective promote style in the thread view!

Thank you all for participating in this event so far! We have another update coming soon and we will continue to monitor our progress playing! Please continue to report any errors or bugs you encounter! Devs are working on fixing the database right now, so any site-wide slowness should be fixed soon!

Hard Mode Updates

yum_candycorn There are now a maximum of 6 ghosts on a map
yum_candycorn Players now earn 50% more points.

Visual updates

yum_redstrawberry The first 25 characters on your post will be displayed in the activity log. You can now share strategy, directions, or simply have fun chatting!

Sorry for the slow down on Wednesday as one of our database servers went down. We're upgrading that server as we speak.

We need your help in fixing the Inventory Arranger!

Once again we're putting in time and effort to make the new inventory arranger working flawlessly, though we're currently having trouble reproducing some of the issues that were reported.

In order to fix any remaining issues, we will need to dive into know more about your inventory before and after you encounter any issues.

For those who are using the inventory arranger, please:

1) take a snapshot of your inventory before moving items
2) If you encounter any issues, please take a screencap of the result
3) post the screencap on the bug report thread, as well as the name of the snapshot taken before the move. Please also mention which items were moved.

Trick Or Treating Available Later Today!


Trick or Treating will be enabled soon, and you will be able to earn the Halloween Grab bags right away. Note that the grab bags cannot be opened until later.

The art team is still hard at work to get all the trick or treating prizes ready, and once the prize items are ready, the grab bags can then be opened for the actual prizes. 3nodding Have fun!
