In regards to the NicolaexCrescento stuff:
Honestly I kind of find this thread and its subject to be a little sad.

They're taking fictional characters, making them gay for no reason other than to make them gay with no real motivation or personality driven focus, and drawing porn of it.

Pathetic much? Is the idea of hetero-male sexuality so threatening to Yaoi fangirls that they MUST make every single male character gay to protect their fragile psyches?

Also, porn of fictional characters is wierd. They don't exist, hell these two only exist as NPCs on a socially irrelevant website. Why does there need to be porn of them? Are these people's sex lives really so barren that they HAVE to draw cartoon p***s?

I'm sure my opinion will offend but frankly I don't care. Maybe people should focus on a real human interaction instead of drooling over cartoon d**k pics. All in all I just think it's gross and stupid.

I'm 24 years old, I'm married and I have a child. Obviously I know what goes on in the bedroom but I will never understand cartoon porn. There is nothing arousing about it.

I understand what you mean, im not saying i am against gays/bi's/lesbians but i just dont understand how they can use an npc that has a completely different role on Gaia online (shopkeeper, etc) to fulfill theyre (sexual) pairing fantasies on a site like tentacl that has a completely different purpose then Gaia online in the first place.

They couldve created a whole new set of characters, maybe create a few gay/lesbian/bi/straight pairs just for tentacl only and use them for whatever they wish to with them then the character belongs to that other site and people wont have to feel uncomfortable with a Gaia shopkeeper doing nasty stuff on tentacl as someone completely different we all do know people no matter if they are gay or straight have bedsecrets but theres no need to see them live or being drawn even if it is your favourite pairing. People both new and from Gaia come to that new site theres no need to mix things up like that be creative and make your own things.

This is a very wonderful point to make.
I would have loved it if they made some new pairings of all sexualities. Hell they had an opportunity to make a wonderful transgender character or represent a wider variety of humanity in all aspects...

Instead they focus on characters already known by CHILDREN and turn them into smutfodder.

Not to mention I'm still very upset by the lack of "you must be 18 or older to enter this site" warning and the fact that Gaia mods say it's perfectly find to link to Tentacl. How many kids are going to end up there inadvertently from Gaia? It's dangerous!

Someone quoted reapersun saying that, when she was able to get back to the manga again, she was going to make NicolaexCrescento a canon pairing.
She also went on to say that after the Rejected Olympics, it wasn't that surprising to think that Nico was at least bisexual.

I'm not really a fan of them becoming canon, solely on the fact that I don't see much story to support it, other than reaper's fan art. (I think the pairing in some art is cute, but I'm not into the heavy stuff.)
Unless she wants to introduce this as part of building character development and not just, y'know, throwing them at each other then I'd be okay with it.
In other words, make it believable and not something that you need to "read between the lines" of.

If she decides to make them canon gay fine..although I see no precedent for it. I do agree, it makes sense that Nico is bi, or at least Cashsexual but there's never been any indication for Crescento.

I still will think it's wierd since they're basically cartoon characters from a kid's website.

I mean what if I took neopets and made porn of them? I know people DO it...but I think it's...wierd.

Then again I think her Sherlock/Watson art is wierd and creepy too. All in all I am not a big fan of Reapersun. I feel like she's a fantastically skilled artist but she spends too much time and energy focusing on fictional fantasies and wastes her talent with it.

Also I don't like her new items nearly as much as her old ones but that's just personal pixelling preference.

All in all it's just my opinion and I am not in the least saying that I'm 100% right. Other people's opinions are just as valid as mine.

So... I made an account out of curiosity. The avatars actually grow on me, especially since the shading style is painting-like. On the other hand I still don't like how the avatars are laid out in the forums, and some of the outfit layering is still off. When making an avatar, I made the mistake of not taking an item in every possible slot regardless of matching each other, so I ended up with only a dress, a hat and a pair of shoes. I wish there was a warning.

I can't see myself having sustained interest. Mostly because the main non-cash earning mode is the Unravel game which is more personal than I'd like to be with strangers, and also because it's... lacking focus at the moment? The topics are either things I'm not interested in or things provided better by other sites. Right now the only reason for me to visit is NSFG* NPC fanart.

Also still can't get over the name.
