I don't disagree with you, but those people still need to stay on the site in order to make it successful in the long run. It'll look good to them if a lot of people join up at first, just to reserve their username, but it's not as if they could force people to stay. I think signing up just for the sake of doing so is pretty harmless.

I think it's to be expected in all new sites. I believe Tekton's site got a ton of registrations for that purpose and to get that free item for referrals.

Oh good it's done. Now I don't have to hear about it anymore. Not even going to care about looking at it. Adult sites just are not my thing, why I liked the rating of Gaia. I mean I joined Gaiaonline at age 22, so just because I'm an adult doesn't mean I want to join an adult site. But that name is funny and if it fails I'll laugh. Hopefully the GD forum will be cleaner now with people moving over there. I wonder how the active members number will be on this site as people move over there. I just have a bad feeling it's going to be a deja vu of the social games. I guess Gaia can make money off of porn stuff now since sex sells. So it's nice it's opened for the people who asked for it, but personally doesn't make a difference to me, but thanks for funding the company I guess for the people buying new avatar items there. I can just see a repeat of when animal bases got done here how people have to rebuy items. I don't know, I just see a repeat of Club Verge type of thing happening there with the cash prices. I know Gaia will be more willing to charge adults higher prices on that site than this site. So let's see if it will last longer than a year I guess.

I don't get why Gaia can't focus on what their customers like, THIS WEBSITE. Why divert funds to that ugly mess and let this already established site die off? Take the thousands of dollars we're pumping in and make GAIA ONLINE BETTER. That site is seriously UGLY AS SIN. Like, it's so bad that I hardly made it through the registration to make my hideous man-barbie.

The only reason I loved Gaia's dress up features is because the pixels reminded me of old video games, they looked like anime-RPG characters or something. That, that MESS is just downright unappealing. Jesus, I hope that didn't cost a lot to produce because when it fails (and it's going to fail) Gaia's going to have nothing but this place to fall back on.

You'd think they would have learned when they pulled everyone off of other projects to work on Facebook crap, I thought they said they were going to focus on Gaia, not this travesty.

And I was looking at all the things I could "buy" and was just thinking how they expect me to put up money from "GO." No chance in hell. The only reason I spend money here is because I have YEARS invested in this site. The avatar and this account on this site is worth something to me. Paying for some new random place? PFBT, I might as well start playing Second Life.

I will never give that bloated, ugly website a dime. I'll continue to post here and support Gaia but that place? Never. Plus it didn't look "18+" to me, the avatars looked like some wannabe Twilight/Halo/Generic "teen" barbie doll crap. Plus with a title like that, there had better be some titties because otherwise it's just another buzz word to draw in morons.

Really though, that place is BAD.

It really didn't look 18+ at all. It looked like a mess. I don't do imgur, or tumbler, or instagram or all those things, so navigating the site for the 10 minutes I tried was really awkward and non-intuitive for me. It's so messy.

I will give that I liked the female avatar base, I especially like being able to customize my nose, but I didn't like that 80% of the starter outfits involved my boobs hanging out.
