I just plain won't vote.

You don't deserve a vote.

What a strange thing to tell someone they don't deserve something they do not want. You may as well say I don't deserve leprosy.

Na. I have a brain.
Nope. They're still beholden to social ideas and policies that ******** me over. There's also that whole income=morality horseshit they hold onto.

If you live in the US, why vote at all?

In the presidential election, we already know who our next president's gonna be a year before a single ballot is cast, is it really likely that We, the People have any more say in any other election than we do in the presidential one, especially considering it's the other elections that actually matter?

who's going to be the next American president this coming year?

President Clinton the Scandalborn, Second of her Name, Lord of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, and Supporter of Middle Eastern Quagmires, Eight Years shall she Reign.

Marginally better than winding up hailing "President Bush the Jeb, Third of his Name, Lord of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Son of the Hips and Brother of Village Idiots," mind, but not by as much as we might hope.

There was a time that I probably would have since I grew-up in a Republican household, but since I'm currently watching my state's Republican-controlled legislation and my state's Republican-controlled executive office destroy my state, I would have a difficult time stomaching voting for a Republican (meaning their opponent would have to be way worse than them for me to even consider it) unless the party starts providing sane candidates who would refuse to answer to corporations.
By the way, if Governor Sam Brownback ever runs for president, DO NOT GIVE HIM THE CHANCE TO TAKE OFFICE.
I'm just hoping Kansas would at least turn purple after this.

You think Democrats don't answer to corporations too?

Sadly, most, if not all, do. We really need to get money out of politics.

no because they literally want to execute me for my sexual orientation. among other reasons, but that one's way up on top.
Funny how many are falling in the locksteps required of their masters and never realize it, carrying the load and minding their place, expecting the government to fix their woes.
All the while nibbling away at their rights and turning rights to privilege.
I know who I won't be voting for. None of the established political hierarchy, in any way, shape or form.
Clinton? With all the baggage she carries, her penchant for lying after ******** us over anyone that votes for her is an ignorant ******** that truly does believe in a master class based on financial differences and they deserve her.
Sanders? Hard core far gone socialist who promises everyone everything... and not one mention of realistically paying for it.
Jeb? God no. We've had two retards holding the White House down in a row. Let's not go for three.
It's been spiraling down since George, let's not slide further down that hill.

I don't vote on the Duopoly in this country, but it's just fun to see how ridiculous politics can get in this country and it's the saddest lie that this is the apparent "American Dream" immigrants learn from their knowledge about America.

2 party systems simply put, is not democracy, it's a pseudo republic and when it becomes corrupt becomes an oligarchy.

I could give one less ******** about Democrats and Republicans.

Any one who votes for them, ANY ONE, is simply too ignorant or too stupid to understand the concept of democracy.

Well... on principle, I'm Independent. So yes, but it would require someone who is not a ******** moron, running on a campaign not geared towards ******** morons.

So it's also highly unlikely.

Carson and Carly are both Technocrats who will push America one step closer to technological dystopia. That should bother you because evil technocrats always try to make the internet suck worse than the year before, and since you are able to read this, that means your life will be worse.

Wait, what's a technocrat? Is that someone who wants to put computers in charge of government? Because that would be cool, but also incredibly dangerous once the singularity occurs.

Yes, but... They're looking a bit bleak at this point.

But I'll vote for basically anyone that's not Bernie Sanders, so we'll see.

Sanders? Hard core far gone socialist who promises everyone everything... and not one mention of realistically paying for it.
Sanders is literally the only person running who's got a plan to pay for everything. You literally used this line against the person who it applies least to.

I mean, if you said Trump or Carson, you'd have a point. But Sanders? Heh.

Would it be correct to assume that you're yet another one of those cowardly morons who don't have any idea what socialism actually is?

I'm very likely going to vote for Bernie Sanders, but this is embarrassing.
