I don't know. I have a track that may or may not be finished this week, and I have one which I thought was close to being finished last month but I opened it three days ago and thought "what the ******** is this s**t?"
I'm bad at finishing stuff. I guess I should fix up Amlia and release it through Catharsis.

I plan to finish a few/one track for submission. IF WE CAN GET ENOUGH FINISHED RACKS SUBMITTED TO IT, I can compile a CD sampler and pass it around town. Radio stations etc.

It sounds like your bass drum got highpassed the ******** out, like everything below 200hz was filtered. Unless that's not a bass drum starting at 0:13.

I went to :13....thats high hats? I am not sure. The bass and bass drum are almost perfectly EQ'd within thier ranges imho, so I am unsure whether thats screwing with the sound.

A set of Logitech 5500s. Which I have been informed boost the midrange but I don't think that's the problem.
I also tried out my headphones, which are really just a crappy set of earbuds but they go down to 6hz with only like -3db, so I don't think they really high pass anything on their own either.

Either way it sounds more like an acoustic bass pitch-shifted below its natural range than a drum.

Thats the vocoder I use then. I have to figure out why I still like how it sounds.
