Okay, I keep trying to use text but it's not showing up.
The thing says it's there, it's not there, though.
At first I thought maybe I was being a stupid derp, because what I'm writing on is white and I was like "oh, maybe the color is white." but no, it's black.

WELL, THIS IS SUPER LATE..
But, if that ever happens again, look at your layers. It could be that your text layer was below
your image layer which would make it not show up since something was on top of it. O:

THE FRONT PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED!

...and by updated I mean mostly edited graphics and updated the people list. I have to write out a
few posts for some roleplays before I can add/update the actual guide.

Have the area where you want the border selected [ie: use the rectangle marquee
and make a box] and then use the stroke selection tool [you can see the steps on the front page,
just make sure you select the dash style! >v<~]

edit: i can't seem to make it smooth looking tho.
This is the same one but in png.

The gif format is a real beast, it does not handle semi-transparency well and so it clips things like it has in your picture instead of letting it have smooth semi-transparent parts like in the png.

To get around it you'll have to add a solid background layer beneath the main image and then merge it, which isn't ideal. Other than that, looks good =]

I went back and did what you said. It's a lot better than it was before. I was able to keep all the little details that were in the image. The color does change a little, not sure how to fix that. However, I don't think it's that noticeable. Do you?

I went back and did what you said. It's a lot better than it was before. I was able to keep all the little details that were in the image. The color does change a little, not sure how to fix that. However, I don't think it's that noticeable. Do you?

The colour change will have to do with how the gif image format indexes colours, limiting you to a palette of 256 colours. Read some more perhaps?.

But yeah, it looks fine, barely noticeable.
