Why do people hate Digimon Season 5?

Why do people hate this season? I mean its not bad at all I actually like it! I mean my favorite season five Digimon is MirageGaogamon
But my all time favorite Digimon is obvious just look at my name!

I stopped watching after season one.

I don't hate it, I just lost interest.

Because it wasn't Adventure 01/02 or Tamers.

I think it was [in part] because of how "different" it was to the past seasons, excluding Frontier. I knew some people disliked it because they brought back Agumon and felt that "the only person who should have an Agumon is Tai[chi]". Plus, there were people who thought nit was stupid how Masaru(?) would punch the Digimon.
i thought it was okay, from what episodes I managed to watch.

For me, a lot of it was just the character designs and change in the general art style. They just made the show look so generic in the fifth season.
