I don't know what you were expecting. Everyone has always talked about a marriage system, but I never saw the point. Maybe for RPers, but that's about it.

It just never made a lot of sense for it to be a major feature. How would you Honeymoon? Housing is kinda forgotten anyway, so why get a house together? What other aspects of the Gaia marriage could be integrated into the site?

I pretty much see it as a gold sink.

That said, I'll probably have my IRL hubby send me a proposal when he gets home from work even though he rarely gets on Gaia.

I'm kind of irritated that this is getting achievements and yet the Valentine's Day Event didn't get any? neutral lol oh well. I'm bitter. ;P I'm happy that the marriage system is out for those who wanted it. As for what happens after you get married, I assume nothing. You get the extra title and an achievement? (:
