i got an A- on our first assignment in an art class i took and i went up to the teacher like "so why exactly did I get an A- and not an A?"

and she was like "oh god you're one of those students."

and I was just like "yes, yes I am."

I'm like that on this one. I got an 86, but the comments on the grade were to another student. So I don't think that's my grade.

i don't usually get nervous for auditions, but this is the only big play this year, because the other show is a musical and I'm not the best singer u n u

so i really want this, otherwise i'll likely be bored and mopey


also, it's a highly comedic play, and my stongsuit is dramatic acting, so i'm worried my 'brand' of comedic acting won't be received as well as some of the other Advanced Drama students' who are naturally funny

don't be hard on yourself! the fact that you can even get up in front of people and do your thing is super awesome.

and comedic timing is SO HARD, omg. I feel like that's one of those things that is more of an inexact science, so it's harder to know when/how to deliver what you're saying. I've found watching/listening to a lot of funny stuff helps? mostly i just really love making people laugh :>

(I will say I am SUPER JEALOUS though. I can't do anything in front of people without getting nervous, even though I LOOOVE getting attention xD)
