NaNoEndMo!

In honor of NaNoWriMo, we are hosting a silly little fanfiction contest. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to write a piece of short fiction taking place in the EndGame universe! You may elaborate on culture, technology, and locations as needed! You may create new characters as needed! You may write about other people's characters as needed! So if you ever wanted to prove to us who would win in a three-way battle between Len, Ciro, and Fish, the likes of which the world has never seen, Now's your chance!

Some rules:

1. Keep it PG-13. If you really want to write hardcore porn about an encounter between Persy and some naughty plants... keep it in your pants, because we don't want to read it. While crackfics and any pairing that you'd like to toss at us are perfectly okay, gratuitous, graphic sex is not appreciated.
2. This event is strictly non-canon. You may write about any characters you like, doing whatever you like, but the ensuing stories will not be officially entered into the EndGame chronology unless we think it's really ******** awesome.
3. Writing about a one-shot character does not entitle you to actually obtain that character. (Although it might help.)
4. We do not guarantee any character prizes through this event. (Prizes will be outlined lower in this post.)
5. Crackfic scenarios, AUs, and What If's are perfectly fine. However, your story must take place in the EndGame universe. Furthermore, "Cosplay" characters may not be used in NaNoEndMo stories - you cannot plunk Harry Potter down in Southern and call it a day.
6. Stories may take place anywhen in the EndGame chronology, and anywhere in the EndGame world. Curious about Vegas or Eastern or Northern? What about Canada? What's China doing? How did the world end up like this, anyway?
7. We reserve the right to incorporate any of your world-building into EndGame canon. This includes places, events, and even characters!
8. You can write about ANYONE.

EVERYONE LIKES PRIZES, RIGHT?

• Every story entry longer than 1000 words will earn you a credit redeemable towards one stick at Stick It To Me.
  
• Stories that appeal to us may receive illustrations done by one of several participating artists. Illustrations may range from a few quick sketches to a full illustrated scene.
  
• Exemplary work in character building may be redeemable towards an actual EndGame character.
  
• Exemplary work in world building may be redeemable towards gold, art, or brownie points.
  
• For existing characters, every five hundred words of story can be redeemed for one point towards growth.
  
• OTHER SECRET THINGS AS WE FEEL LIKE IT. C:
