Galen made it through the halls without being disturbed nor stopped. "Milady rose! We need to get you to a safe room!" the old man gasped as he rushed into the garden area. Galen was nearly purple in the face as he had rushed with all his might that was left in his frail body. apparently all the excitement happening through out the castle was pushing the old mans reliance it was a good thing the old man was retiring soon, too many more instances like this and he would definitely collapse.

"So Tick has failed to locate Rose" A voice sounded out from Galen's mouth, but it was deeper and more guttural. What Galen had not noticed was that when he walked near the dissolved corpse Lot hid a male and female worm into his body. "Incubator turn to better face the princess and her two suitors." The worms inside of Galen forced his body to turn. "What beautiful bodies, what magical energies. When my worms devour you i shall have both." Galen's abdomen began to swell from the mass birthing of the worms inside of him. "I am Lot servant of Vasha by my hand you shall know annihilation." With that Galen's abdomen burst open sending Lots worms flying at the princess and her two escorts. "Be devoured." The voice came from the worms. The worms that flew at Francis Valentine hit their mark and burrowed into his body. After that he dropped quickly.

The Spider Queen Lolth

Lolth just smirked as the vampire laughed at the ecstatic look on her face. "keep talking, just gonna make me enjoy this more" Lolth. The woman couldn't help but laugh as the girl seemed to flip at being called a vampire. "oh no, did I make the vampire upset?" she asked tauntingly. The spider queen did raise a brow however when the girl suddenly went quite and started smiling. When the girl got close to the bed Lolth immediately disregarded what she was saying and rushed in, making sure she didn't get a chance to harm the princess. As the vampire went flying towards her Lolth slide to a stop and jumped to the side, catching the woman's leg and using her own momentum to fling her back towards the same indent in the wall she had been smashed into earlier. "why use strength when your dumb a** does half the work for me?" she muttered. She didn't come to be known as the best warrior in Warta relying on her strength alone after all, she was highly intelligent and deceptively agile to boot.

"I would probably advise against heading to the guard's quarters" Vasha said as the door at the top of the stairs flung open, revealing him standing in the doorway. "one of the assassins is disguised as a guard, which means there might be more of them, myself and Zidane will be protection enough, for now we can't trust anyone else" he continued, before looking over at Zidane and nodding "The assassin plans to frame Galeth for the assassination plot, myself specifically. No doubt he's tried to get the guards riled up to apprehend us. With the Queen with us it shouldn't be too much of an issue, but everyone we have to explain ourselves too is wasted time, time we don't have, so we should avoid them if possible" Vasha said, looking over to the queen. "you wanted me to show you what Galeth had to offer right? Well you can count saving your life among our merits when your deciding which husband to pick" Vasha said matter of factually before turning and heading back into the hall, motioning for them to follow "so where are we headed first?" he asked

Amia jumped as Vasha appeared in the corridor with them. She really need to find out why outsiders knew the layout of her castle better than herself and her personal guard. Or at least the good escape route which this corridor appeared to be.

The queen still wasn't quite eased of her suspicions, particularly when Vasha said that he was being framed. However the man had a point, when all hell broke loose it was the members of Galeth that stepped up to the plate and saved her life. As fishy as the circumstances were she could not ignore that fact.

The queen looked between her two guards and gave a sigh of acceptance even if it was reluctance. Her security and intellegance program were definately not up to par.. something she would see rectified as soon as the treaties were signed... perhaps if she could get over her suspicion of the Galeth enovies with their direct help. "A lot of things are coming to light during this time of danger that I intend to see to as soon as all is safe." she said clearly her voice firm.

"For now however I am greatly worried about my youngest sister Rose whom I belive is in the gardens. She does not have any combat experience nor a heavy guard." she said letting the man named Zidane lead the way and Vasha to guard her back/side which ever he chose.

Zidane nodded to both the queen and Vasha whom was his supirior. "Gardens it is." Leading the way down the corridor he stopped at the end which should have held a ladder up to the gardens but instead just had a decorative wall blocking their path. Frowning he spent a few minutes fidling with the wall until it swung open nearly hitting his face and revealing a set of stairs.

Once again Zidane lead the way only to push the queen back into the hole. "We were beat to the punch, looks like there is an assassin here as well." he swore trying to push the queen back into the safety of the corridor. "But my sister is out there!" she screamed fighting as Zidane nearly picked her up to hold her in place. "ROSE!"

"I cant beat her." Tick said when Lolth caught her leg. What happened next was a blur but it ended with Tick having almost every bone in her body broken. And as she sat there her back supported by the wall she frowned. "Damn you." Tick raised her hand up and pointed at her. Her finger was swelling up from the amount of blood in it. "I take blood b...But watch me give some back." Tick smiled as the tip of her finger burst open sending a beam of high pressure blood at Lolth. The beam missed making a tiny circular hole in the stone behind Lolth. "Probably should have used that earlier." Tick tried to stand up but fell over immediately. "I think you did something to my spine."

Sahvya smiled as Taro followed her after the shadowmancer. The whispered thanks fell not on deaf ears as they continued in their search. The taller woman was thoughtful as Taro asked the question about their much sought after villain. "I will admit that I am not completely sure how we are supposed to find this creature... but he is of the living and that means that he can be slain... And fire is a wonderful tool to have at your disposal, I shall cast light unto the dark..." She said to the singer. She was not cocky about it nor totally sure of herself but she knew that she would not stop until this menace was dealt with. Her sisters lives were in danger and this thing had already gone after their queen.

She would see that his end was well met.

Sahvya looked towards a darkened room, she was fairly certain that no room should be that dark in the middle of the day and as she walked closer she saw movement from her left flank. A trap, how crafty... She readied herself for the attack but Taro threw herself between the princess and the attacker.

"No!" She gasped watching as Taro looked destined to take on the attack meant for her. She should not have been surprised that the siren would be able to defend herself and she was forced to take a step back as the force of the voice coming from her companion nearly knocked her down. She watched the creature, still a little dazed from the singing earlier fly back from the force of the voice. The red haired princess was in awe of the smaller female.

How strong.

This was short lived however as the shadowmancer landed, heavily on a wall. It was clear that Taro had managed to injure him even further, his speed was down, and he was not at full capacity mentally with his brain still in a fog. He knew that these two women were not his target but he also knew that to get to his target, he would have to deal with them first. He leapt from the wall at the singer with the voice this time. He hissed furiously at the duo, intent on destruction. He vanished into the shadows again and this time emerged between the women from the floor. He had appeared just as quickly as he had vanish and he struck out at both hoping to land an attack with his poisoned blades.

Sahvya had not been ready for such a bid upon them and felt the blade sink into her hand. She did not flinch despite the pain, but rather used the closeness to her advantage and sunk her own blade into a more vital spot. "Taro! Sing!" Her hand burned but she ignored it as the creature tried to escape again. Her hand reached out and grabbed onto his cloak, igniting him. She hoped that she could keep her grip on this thing long enough for him to burn to death.

She also hoped to keep the damage to a minimum to her home.

Sahvya's mind also focused on Taro, she was aware of her own injury but had Taro escaped unharmed?

Va and Yas had stayed very quiet and still despite all of the noise of the other assassins. They did not wish to make a big scene and that was why they had waited in their own shadows in the throne room. Their target... left all alone. Va, the taller of the two siblings with the long pale hair, stepped forward looking at the mess of a man before him. It had been easy for the twins to ignore the song of the siren drenched in their shadows but it had not been so easy for this one it seemed. Yas, the shorter brother, stood back watching his beloved sibling stand before the captain of Tyrani.

Va chuckled a little darkly as he looked upon the being before him.

"Pity... He's rather lovely... I wouldn't mind bringing him into our bed before killing him but it seems time is not on either of our sides is it hm?" He looked back at his brother and Yas seemed to find very little about this amusing. "What is wrong my love?"

"We are not here to toy with this idiot Va, we're here for a job and... I would rather not have to worry about the second part of our order... Let us be done here..." Yas had always been one to want to finish a job quickly, Va loved the thrill of the chase and mind games.

"As you wish my love..." Va said pulling out his daggers. He stared at the Captain. "Are you going to fight... or just let me have this kill? Yas sighed exasperatedly. This was supposed to be easy, he was already confuddled by that siren.

"If you won't I will..." He said pulling out his crossbow. He just wanted out of this deal. He had no intention of dying this day.

Taro smirked a bit hearing the princess try to shout for her to stop, but just as she did Taro's siren wail sent the assassin flying back like a spec of dust in the wind. She smiled in satisfaction and turned to look at Sahvya with a confident grin on her face. "relax m'lady. If I let anything bad happen to you I'd probably loose my job, and the queen pays me more than enough to intercept an assassin or two" Taro boasted, teasing the princess a little by playing off her protectiveness as just part of the job.

"now let's take this gu-OH s**t!" Taro was cut off mid sentence as the assassin suddenly popped up between them from out of no where, stabbing at both of them with his daggers. Taro just barely got his hands up in time to avoid a fatal blow, but that only resulted in the assassin's blade stabbing clear through his palm and out the back of his hand. "yegaaaaaaaaaaah!" Taro screamed in pain, dropping down to one knee. However, instead of flailing about in distress, the siren gritted her teeth and pushed her hand down further on the blade, clenching her fist over the assassin's to keep his hand tight around the hilt of the dagger, and with the knife dug so deeply into her own flesh the assassin was essentially anchored to her, unable to escape.

The princess shouted something at him, he heard his name being called atleast. But the siren couldn't make out the words. It was as if he was drifting under water and she was calling to him from the surface, everything was slow and muddled. However it wasn't the poison that dimmed his perception though, but his growing rage and seething anger. Taro's fist began to tremble as it tightened around the assassin's, the pain seeming to further increase his strength. The boy's eyes began to glow an eerie blood red, and he slowly rose back to his feet, a murderous gaze in his eyes. His anger seeming to guide his body for him Taro suddenly leaned forward towards the assassin and let out a horrible high pitched shriek, so high pitched it could barely even be picked up by the human ear, but what could be heard was soaked in malice and primal furry. The assassin's eyes widened as Taro's wail shattered what was left of his mind like a pane of glass, but the effects of the scream weren't just mental, as the man's head began to shake violently before exploding violently, blood and gore spraying everywhere, as the assassin's corpse collapsed to the ground in a heap.

Fortunately it seemed whatever primal instinct that had taken over Taro had more control over his powers than he usually did, as aside from a slight head ache Sahvya was unharmed by the horrible display of power, save for being splattered in brain matter. Taro stood over the assassin's body, panting heavily, his eyes slowly fading back to normal. A few seconds later he seemed to come back to his senses, eyes widening slightly in shock. "Did I...huffh...do...hufh..thaaa..." he started to ask, only to suddenly collapsed to the floor, the poison from the assassin's blade starting to take it's toll.

Vasha nodded as the queen expressed concern for her sister. "well let's go find her then" Vasha said, allowing Zidane to lead the way and cover the rear, the queen's rear to be exact, which wasn't too bad looking from this angle. "I think it goes without saying that we should try to take atleast one of these assassin's alive for questioning. Though Lot is out of the question, his ability to possess others makes him to much of a liability to keep alive, he needs to die now or he'll continue to be a nuisance" Vasha said as they walked.

When they reached the wall that was supposed to be their way out Vasha simply sighed and walked past Zidane, not having the time to sit there and wait for him to figure out how to open the hidden passage. "try not to take too long" Vasha said as he simply walked straight through the wall, and up the steps on the other side, leaving Zidane to figure out how to open the contraption on his own. By the time they reached the top of the steps Vasha was already standing in wait, watching the exchange as the bag of worms that was Lot burst free from the old man's chest and attacked the suitors. Despite having had ample time to intervene, having a several minute lead on Zidane and Amia's arrival, Vasha had decided to sit back and watch for a moment, to better analyze the assassin's techniques, and perhaps give him a chance to kill off the other suitors, less competition after all.

Unfortunately the queen's outburst meant there was no point in hanging back any longer, they'd notice them there eventually "thank you very much! Your being protected by two people who specialize in STEALTH COMBAT! and you scream like an idiot to give away our position" the assassin harshly whispered, holding his wrist to keep himself from back handing the queen for being so stupid. "I swear to god it's almost like you WANT you and your entire family to be murdered, Zidane slip past and grab the princess, I'll run distraction" Vasha grumbled as he walked out into view, not trying to hide. "no wonder you kill anyone who sees your face, I wouldn't want anyone to know I'm that damn ugly either" Vasha taunted, drawing a dagger from his belt. "oh, here's a thought. Since your so obviously my servant, why don't you give me a little bow? oh and some groveling too would be nice..." Vasha said as he drew closer.

The Spider Queen Lolth

Lolth smirked seeing the girl's broken body splat against the wall "wow, that's the smartest thing I've heard out of your mouth yet c**t" Lolth said as the girl admitted to being unable to defeat her. "don't feel too bad though, I don't really do the whole 'loosing' thing" she said with a smirk. When the girl pointed her finger at her, Lolth tilted her head slightly in confusion. When the girl muttered something about giving blood back Lolth braced herself for something, and suddenly a beam of blood was fired at her. The spider woman simply grinned and leaned her head to the side, the beam shooting right past her head hitting the wall behind her. "probably shouldn't have given away that you where going to use it either" she said, wondering why the hell people thought it was a good idea to announce their attacks all the time. Seeing tick collapse to the floor Lolth just sighed and walked over to her. "sorry, let me adjust that for you" she said, stomping on the girl's spine, which probably didn't help much, in fact much the opposite. Without another word Lolth aimed a punch down at the girl's head, trying to knock her out "hmmm...where the hell are all the guards?" Lolth muttered, looking around at the busted up room.

"Alright." A voice sounded out from every worm that busted out of Galen. "Plan B." The worms that missed converged into a single location and formed into a single mass around five and a half feet tall and somewhat human humanoid in form. The worms slithered around the mass, mating with each other to restore and increase the amount of worms Lot had to work with. "I will devour everyone but Silyse and then i will posses the corpse of a servant and tell her who did it. And i will stand at her side when she burns your homes to the ground and nails your family to the charred remnants of your once great cities." The worm mass began to flail around spilling a brown liquid that contained Lots tiny eggs in an attempt to infect people around him. "Now die quickly and i promise it will not hurt." Lots worms were writhing with excitement.

Elsewere Tick got her a** beat by a giant spider and was now unconscious.

The red haired princess heard Taro cry out in pain. Obviously the shadowmancer had gotten the better of the both of them. she hoped that she could hold out against the poison long enough to kill it with fire. Pain and poison tugged at her consciousness but she was not going to submit... not yet. She became aware of Taro, through the fog of poison, she was not aware it was Taro. The look of rage and vengeance was not something the beautiful warrior was used to seeing on the face of the singer. In the back of her mind she was aware that this was someone she knew... but she could not place him. Her attention was immediately pulled away as a shrill screech filled the air.

Sahvya was awake...

And covered in gory bits of flesh and... well she had no idea what the rest of it was but she knew that someone had died while she had fallen into a haze. Her head was throbbing but she was feeling the effects of the poison washing over her again. She was not aware of when she had been forced to her knees but it left her open to catch Taro as she collapsed.

Sahvya pulled Taro to her, wincing from the motion. Her hands were cut open but nothing like the siren's. She removed the dagger from the hand of her companion with as much care as she could before willing herself to her feet through gritted teeth. She knew that she had very little time before she too fell to the power of the poison. She needed to get to a healer, she was no good at such things, the most good she could do was to cauterize a wound.

She was no healer.

"I need a healer! Please! We need a healer!" She felt more than heard or saw the guards come to her aide. She refused to relinquish Taro, holding the siren close to her own body.

"Don't go anywhere Taro... Don't leave me..." She felt the healer's hand on her body. She pushed them away. "Heal her..." Her throat was tight. "She took the worst of it... Heal her first... That's a command dammit." Sahvya felt her sight fading and unconsciousness striking her.

"Don't leave me Taro..." She managed before she collapsed.

Zidane - The Intelligent One

((Flying by the seat of my pants here..Sorry for any discrepancies, if I folly let me know and I will fix it..))


Zidane listened to Vasha and nodded. He looked to the queen as Vasha made his appearance. "Please stay here..I will get your sister and bring her to safety, but we will have to stay in the shadows..This assassin seems to be very dangerous.." He said as he reached into the sachel and produced one of his two kunai. Dropping to the ground lightly Zidane found his way around the garden, takeing a round about scenic path in an attempt to not be seen. He ended up behind a rose bush by the bench that the princess Rose was near. "Your highness" He whispered, just loud enough to be heard. "Please, I have your sister. Come with me I will take you to safety.." He said reaching out to the young lady.

Kasai Valentine

Kasai would look up at the beast that burst into the gardens.. Seeing it's worms shoot out of it's stomach and sink deep into his brothers skin. Watching his brother keel over in pain he would gasp and growl at the beast, wanting to take revenge.. But first he had to figure out what was going on.. The princess... That beast was after Rose?.. It can't be.. Looking back at her, seeing the Galeth man come out of the bushes and reach for her. Growling he would slap the Galeth's hand away from Rose with his wing, instantly taking her up into his arms and flying up into the air.

"It's not safe here my lady, we must escape with your sisters at once, until the beast is vanquished.." Looking down at his brother collaped onto the ground, it made him frown.. He knew he couldn't save his brother with his healing magic, that was the one big flaw about the twins.. Kasai was born with magic, and took all of his brothers magic along with the birth.. But can't even use his healing upon his brother..

Escaping the gardens, he would continue to fly up away. Attempting to get further and further away from the beast so it wouldn't get near them both.. Even that small pile of worms didn't exactly look very earthly as well.. So he had to escape with Rose, and hope for the best with the queen and their sisters..
