Ariah ₭yrin
Mother + Human + Thirty-Two + Household Manager

⌲ It was after nine at night, and really Ariah should be inside running over a checklist, but it's not urgent. Besides, she's all bundled up and a walk through the garden is hard to turn down when she has the spare moment. She's having more of those these days - between no longer having to homeschool Abel, a large staff at the estate, and Riker being in a better mindset - she's just had more free time. Which she enjoys, but it does make her feel a bit antsy as if she's forgetting something and she's started to look into finding a hobby. The only problem with that is outside of reading her novels and stream bad movies the only two things she really does is take care of Abel and work. She's beginning to realize that there isn't a lot to her life or her, really if you take those two things away.

She's racking her head for ideas, for things to do as her boots skirt along the garden's walkway kicking up snow and dampening her jeans. Most of the flowers are all closed up to protect themselves from the warmth, but there are a few blooms scattered about the gazebo and makeshift walkways and all the greenery dusted in white is pretty enough in Ariah's opinion. She reaches out with a gloved hand to gently touch one of the honeysuckle blooms at eye level. Her gloves don't exactly touch the flower, just hover around the petals and stalk as if she might break them if she actually touched them but is too enthralled by them to ignore them. Ariah loves flowers, but she thinks winter flowers might be her favorite - growing bright and beautiful in harsh conditions. She can get behind that idea.

The slurry around her begins to pick up causing her to drop her hand and look up at the sky. It's dark out with clouds covering her view. The clouds are heavy and dreary and it's easy to see that they're about to burst. It's time she headed inside then.

Dropping her gaze, Ariah picks up the motion of movement just passing by. She hears it more than sees it and for a moment she thinks it's one of the birds Riker keeps on the grounds or even K2. Though she was almost positive the mutt (okay he wasn't a mutt at all, but shut up) was with her son having been attached to his hip all afternoon. It was most likely one of the peacocks then, but curiosity gets the best of her and she has to know for sure. A short turn about around a trellis and Ariah is able to make out the silhouette of young Thale.

Technically, the boy was eighteen, but for some reason, Ariah always got a younger sense about him. It's not like she thinks he acts like a child, on the contrary really, but more like she wants to build up his confidence and wrap him in a blanket to take care of him. Part of her thinks, it's just her adjusting to the fact that her own son is actually growing up, but she doesn't really like that thought, so she choices to ignore it more often than not.

"Thale!" She calls over the wind picking up as she makes her way over to the boy. It's only when she's closer, that she realizes he isn't exactly dressed for the cold weather. Thale might very well be just fine dressed how he was, but to Ariah, it didn't look like enough. "Honey, aren't you cold?" She asks concerned before adding, "the weather is picking up - why don't we both head inside? Maybe get something warm to eat?" Ariah was starting to realize she had been outside much longer than she thought and just how hungry she actually was and was not about to turn down some warm to pool in her stomach and radiation warmth outwards.

Eleiza snored lightly on the couch in the foyer. She had spent almost the entire night writing checks for her employees, paying the bills for her night club, ordering food, drinks, etc. It was by far the worst part of owning it. But so very worth it. If she kept on track with how things were going, she could pay Riker back in full by the years end. Her nights lately had finally kicked off and business was booming.

Her main attraction was featuring little known artists, giving them a much needed foothold in the music industry, as well as charity parties for orphanages. Every night was a new adventure, and she loved every second. Even though she was lacking sleep. As she slept, she felt a light tapping on her forehead. Groaning in protest she turned over, hiding herself from view.

Goawaydonttouchme...... Her words slurred together in her exhausted stupor.

Wakey wake sunshine. No rest for the wicked. Her darker half beckoned. She had begun going by Terri, so as to avoid confusing the house guests. She was well behaved at the estate, since Eleiza had agreed to let her off the leash as the 'bouncer,' so long as nobody got TOO injured in the process.

Just because you are awake, does not mean I have to be.
Yeah, good luck with that sweetheart. Besides, I am hungry, so get your lazy a** up and feed us.

Eleiza groaned with un-enthusiasm. After a light stretching, She traveled to the kitchen, grabbed a glass of orange juice and an apple. And after downing the drink, traveled to the tree she often sat under in the mornings. Stroking the ribbon that dangled from the branch, silently munching on the apple.

I cant live it down, so i'll live it up for you.

Abel ₭yrin
Son + Half-Human, Half-Unknown + Thirteen

⌲ Abel had spent the last hour chasing K2 through the pastures and the sleeves of his jacket and the hem of his pants were splotched with snow for it. He had brought gloves out with him at the prompting of his mom, but he had lost them the moment they started to get wet due to melting slush. He wasn't all that upset about that as it allowed him to run his fingers through K2's fur and actually feel the strands with his skin. K2's thick fur was warm and wet and all sorts of good things, Abel thought.

He had been out of breath twenty minutes into playing with K2 and had launched into a game of hide-and-seek with the dog that involved Abel using his powers and K2 her nose. K2 hadn't quite grasped the concept that she could smell him, but not see him and keep knocking him into the ground causing his concentration to break. He would drop his powers and K2 would be so happy to see him that she would lick his face while he was down until he had to push her off him in order to breath through laughter.

Abel knew it was getting late, and he would need to be inside soon so that he didn't worry his mom, but ten minutes more couldn't hurt. He was getting a little hot from all the exercise he was getting with K2 and quickly unzipped his hoodie and let his hand drop back down to his side, sliding into K2's fur as she walked beside him, tongue hanging out as she huffs right along with Abel having given up running for a little bit now. It's cold out and snowing and quiet and only K2 for company, but Abel's kinda used to this and more than okay with it.

He loves his mom and even Riker sometimes, he can be fond of Ensvel most days, but it's not like they're his friends - they're adults! He has started to make friends at school despite the limited amount of talking he did there and it's Alek's turn to write back, but sometimes it's nice to just be around things that loved you unconditionally like K2 and even his snake, Professor Plum. If it wasn't so cold out, Abel might have been inside already letting Plum slither around, but as it is he's curled up in his heated cage. The cold weather does little to deter K2 though.

Abel's feet take him to the stables where he pushes inside with K2 at his side. Most of the horses are in their stalls with the exception of Ricochet who wasn't in sight. Abel wasn't too worried about the missing horse as Riker tended to keep odd hours - something he tried to use as an excuse to stay up late himself. It hasn't worked on his mom yet. The barely a teenager walks along the lane, stopping only when a horse perks up in interest at him causing him to stray over to the small door to stroke along the horse's face. He greeted each horse by name and kinda wished he had a treat to give the ones that greeted him in turn. He supposes they'll have to live with pets and soft words.

Juni Silbern, Prospective Boarder

Juni Silbern's eyes were pale, a striking, silvery seafoam green; and she had what appeared at first to be a blue octopus on her head.
Her hair was short, a deep Prussian blue with grey roots, and was thick with the sort of gentle, relaxed curls that brought to mind the tentacles of an octopus. It was really rather like she had a cartoon octopus on her head, but the net effect of the (natural?) perm was to frame a handsome face more handsomely: softening the hard line of her nose, her hooded eyes, her thick, moody brows – which were grey – and a strong, angular jawline. It was an uncanny, unusual face, almost caricaturesque in the way each feature stood out by itself, and seemed too perfect by omission of the sorts of wear that one would expect a face to take on over the years, save for perhaps two things - there were deep bruises beneath her eyes which she evidently had not bothered to cover with makeup, and a short, pale scar like a chisel-mark which cut a bald wedge through the middle of her left eyebrow. It was not a perfectly symmetrical face, either: an almost unnoticeable dusting of freckles huddled close around her nose and meandered more sparsely across her cheeks, and a raised mole sat just a hair to the right from the point of her chin. Somehow, though, each imperfection seemed as if it ought to be there - as if it had been picked out of some sort of bizarre catalogue and placed there intentionally by its owner.
The expression she wore was superbly cross, packaged with a bored affectation that seemed (maybe paradoxically) both practiced and effortless at the same time. She took in a deep breath as she drank in the spectacle of the extravagant foyer around her – this turned out to be a mistake, as she subsequently lapsed in to a rather nasty and quite embarrassing fit of coughing which totally shattered the cool, collected facade she had worked so hard to build up to this point. But eventually Juni Silbern seemed to collect herself, and she straightened her tall, rail-thin frame and her blue-and-grey tartan blazer, brushed a bit of snow off her hair and her fancy italian loafers, and firmly tapped the little bell on the desk in the estate's foyer a single time with a single outstretched finger – not before reaffixing that cross, aristocratic look to her face.

Riker Saiforro

✓ Thirty-two ✓ Vampire ✓ Owner of the Estate

Riker snickered and shook his head. "I'll see you later, Cosette. I have to go and take care of Ricochet." With that he turned his horse and the two of them headed for the stables.

Upon reaching the building, Riker hopped down from the horse and slid one of the double doors open. The building was well-lit and heated as well. All of the horses were kept in their cozy stalls with plenty of water and a nice thick bed of wood shavings. When the door opened, many furry heads popped up to see who was there to join them. A few of the horses called out in a neigh, causing Rico the reply back to them in the same manner. "Happy to see your friends?" Riker asked the horse as he began leading him down the aisle. He took note of Abel and K2 as he did so.

Riker said nothing as first as he clipped Richocet onto the cross-ropes in the grooming corner. He knew that Ariah would probably question Abel about being out and about after the snow had picked up so heavily because he seemed to be missing some of his winter wear. "How are you doing tonight, Abel? How was school?" He asked in a cheery tone as he removed the saddle and blanket from his horse. Riker always asked Abel how school went because he knew that the boy was having a bit of trouble adjusting. He had not seen him yet today because he had been in his office for quite some time.

Although the question wasn’t answered within a short time that followed, another attempt to speak wasn’t made. Instead, and without much awkwardness to the scenery: she stayed where she had been. Looking for now to the scenery instead, in the thought that keeping up with the fact that he was still writing or drawing entirely would create that ambiance: her guard was still up but not entirely directed to the stranger. No one else seemed to be around, yet it was still fact he didn’t seem interested in much else than recording either the scenery, what had been said so far, or jotting down other notes. It didn’t quite bother her; she had run into at least a couple people like this: needing to keep track of things for a variety of reasons, self-support or to help with other things, but that he was standing there at all still set her at some distrust.

Eventually, when he did speak, she nodded idly and with some purpose otherwise. It wasn’t the longest name, yet it was one she liked for a few reasons. Waiting for him to continue, if he did: that his next words came about prompted her to shift her focus more towards him, her own response following after. A few centuries was a long time, if just by her own perspective, and while her expression shifted to slight apprehension as he spoke about her background; part of it, she didn’t say much else immediately, trying to put together a response. "There weren’t many others left when I was there." Saying how many wasn’t attempted: she herself didn’t know, yet still could confirm that. That he was keeping track was new to her, and held a mixed tone to it in her perception, but being distanced from there now; she didn’t feel like it was something to avoid entirely.

Looking up, the snow drifting down much more than earlier now, the cold hadn’t impacted her until a minutes ago. Ignoring the drop in temperature, she regardless got out of the water, her tail replaced by a more human trait. Picking up her shoes, not caring too much about her person being watery, she put them on and then looked back to the stranger. "I need to go. It was nice to have talked." Speaking in a detached tone, as before, she didn’t quite move off immediately but did so shortly, her pace quick but stopping to turn toward his direction for moment, inviting him to come along in some respect: but only if he kept a distance. With how cold it was getting, he couldn’t stay out here indefinitely, regardless of background.

At the mention of the town, this caused Eirlys to smile, Zurinh’s gaze shifting with some thought, somewhat used to being given positive response but not enough that it didn’t make him hesitate. It probably seemed odd in some respects: the town calling for more people to work, that also was something he was aware of, but she hadn’t asked about that-- and didn’t following her gesture to a nearby chair. Thinking, but knowing better to settle on the idea that she might not be used to town life-- if it came to that, he would try to explain as much as he could about some modern aspects. Not everyone here came from more human-oriented settings, which meant it could be difficult for them to relate.

Moving to the chair shortly, he sat down, making sure his tail wouldn’t be inhibited by a lack of space. After a moment of thought once doing so, he spoke further, his tone containing some thought as he turned over the past few months spent here. “
Thanks. --I tend to either read or work with metal to make jewelry, if not similar crafts. When there’s time, I also look after the garden-- when there are some spaces that may need attention.” The garden itself, taking up a lot of ground, could at times be affected by the outside weather; if not other things: which didn’t hurt to address. It was mostly there for various reasons, and making sure the plants were kept up with was something that also served to relieve some of his own stress. Moving away from his absent line of thought, more words went by, though brief. “With winter here, keeping up with things tends to be more frequent.” This was not just with the plants, but occasionally the animals and residents too, in case anything was needed by them.

His pace in moving off from the trellis wasn’t a quick one, more focused on else now within the surroundings. Giving the snow, which seemed to be falling somewhat faster now; something picking up rapidly; concern grew in his perspective. While the snow hadn’t been that much before, it seemed to be more of an issue now. Although he still wanted to go walking around for a while longer, that likely wasn’t the best idea. As the wind itself grew, that something he was more aware of too, his walk stopped for now, listening to it and then another sound next, which picked up against the surrounding ambiance. A voice, then recognized as Ariah’s, came up from nearby. Turning to the direction the sound had come from, he shifted where he stood to do that, somewhat apprehensive about being out here in this weather. "...Kind of." Not too impacted by the weather, that it was more than before regardless was making it harder to put aside.

At her next words, he responded further. "...Alright!" Agreeing to that, if he said much different… he didn’t really want to upset her, beyond the fact that he was starting to get somewhat affected the surroundings. Waiting for her to lead, a few moments passed, Thale trying to seem tougher than he was in the cold weather, this by his current stance.

Cosette Cosette

(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

demon

No sooner had the demoness opened the door and the soft note of a rung bell vibrated through the air. She closed the door behind her with a push of her hips until it clicked closed. With the softest push of her heeled boots, she lifted into the air silently and floated her way over to the desk where she glided over the counter, rotated her hips then her body, and landed on both feet behind the counter. "Hello new guest!" Came her bubbly voice as she lifted one hand to enthusiastically wave it from side to side. Now, Cosette was never in charge of the check in area. In fact she'd only ever seen Ariah do it. So she just came to associate the spot with the young woman. She just got rehired approximately fourteen minutes ago, so she wasn't sure she actually had any authority to help this person, but by the gods she was about to attempt it.

"Oh! You need a room to stay in right? So do I! I can do that!" No she couldn't. Spinning around, she looked from one side to the other before remembering that it was a box on the wall that was locked and had the available room keys in it. Going up to it, she first attempted to open it normally. But, duh, locked. Bending over sideways to look at the locked handle, she thought a moment of just breaking it. But that wouldn't be very respectful to Ms. Ariah. No, she needed to be gentle with it. And by being gentle that meant not using her blood magic to just smash it into a billion pieces. So, she began pulling harder on the door itself. Digging her black painted nails into the wedge between door and box, she began to pull harder and harder. When it doesn't budge, she then puts one boot on the wall, then the second, and latches onto it. Now she was a cartoon of a person. Both heels on the wall, knees bent low, both hands latched onto the box, with her back arched so far from the tugging that her head was hanging back towards the floor and her hair lightly dusting it. It needed it anyway.

The moment it became evident she wasn't getting it open, she stood up to be perpendicular to the wall and then floated up, spun around, and landed in a way that had her standing back behind the counter facing Juni with chest on hardwood, elbows beside her, and curled knuckles holding her chin up. With a big, bright smile, she just played it off like nothing just happened. "So...where ya from? Where ya going? Whatcha dooooing?"

So exciting...everyone will stop and cheer...

...so Delighting...it will run for fifty years.

The young nixie was distanced from him by more than physical yards. And Oberon rather enjoyed that. It meant that conversations were short and to a basic minimum but still informative. The part 'when she left' was of some interest to him. How old or young was the small creature? He himself was a towering six foot and seven inches tall in his human state and easily in his twenties based on his facial features. But that was a good indicator that appearance does not usually equal life in this world. It was about this time that even he began to notice the increased downfall of snow. Letting out a soft sigh, knowing what it meant, his breath billowed out in a plume of misty fog. While one might think he'd let out a breath of flame, he was not that species of dragon.

Beside him, the girl began to get up out of the water and shift back to a more human example of herself. He, too, backed up from the rock and returned to a standing position that allowed him to take a few steps back and away from her towards a cluster of trees. At her mentioning she had to go, he gave a small nod of understanding. Yet as she moved away, she paused and looked back towards him with a silent invitation towards him. By the time she had done so, his hand had already gently touched dormant trees around him. Once turned towards him, the bark had darkened back to a lovely brown and leaves had begun to sprout. It took the trees a moment to awaken, but once they did it took mere seconds for them to alter and bend to the dragon's will. Not shifting out of their ground, they began to bend and alter how they grew and outstretched their branches, weaving them together to form a nested cluster around him much like a house but without the squared walls. The tops bent over and wove together to form a slanted roof so the snow would fall away. Leaves and flowers burst into life, seeds maturing and nesting there ready to be plucked.

This was the power of the dragon, the manipulation of flora. The trees, ripped from their dormant state, would soon die in the next weeks. No longer to grow. No longer to bloom. But the seeds that were grown now could be harvest and planted again to grow more trees than what would now die and wither away. As the hut behind him formed, he smiled ever so softly and held up a single hand towards her. "Not safe to follow a Nixie, you know..." And his voice gave a low chuckle. It was meant as a playful jab at long written histories. He didn't actually believe she could do him harm but he nevertheless did not believe it to be wise to follow her somewhere unknown. "Come visit if you'd like...I'll be here for a short while." Turning away, he stepped towards the grove of trees that then extended their branches out and wove together, encasing him in a shelter of tree and limbs with no door and no windows to peer in nor out of.

Despite not knowing entirely what sort of being she could call the strange, that he had horns was earlier significant. That didn’t hold up to her following indecision on whether to call him a dragon or falling within some other species. He didn’t breath fire, yet she knew that they tended to have control over that, offhand understanding not enough to make that certain completely but still possible. Following that perception, her thoughts turned to the scenery itself, one reaction turning to another. What he was doing wasn’t clear at first, yet that changed. Recognition phased off into else, her bothered expression making some of her thoughts clear, but beyond that ground were held, within self-tone.

Seeing the trees bend in that way, there was some fear in baseline mentality, even while it didn’t last long, Lacie shaking it off more after the first few moments. That they formed a shelter, likely meant for herself, was still concerning at the least, yet it wasn’t enough to completely prevent her from speaking in a steady tone; even if it wasn’t that way emotionally. "It’s not, generally, which is a good thought." Not saying much else, lacking the chance and initiative to, she saw him disappear beyond the tangle of branches and then remained where she stood for a moment longer. Turning to the side and some ways to the back, she started down the path at a quick pace, wanting to avoid the snow. This meant eventually ending up in part of the garden, that nearer to the main building than the forest set around each; not questioning much at this time other than getting inside. Nearby, the sound of voices were clear, and she raised her own, mostly a question but also partly a confirmation. "Is anyone around?" Against the wind and snow, whether she would be heard wasn’t certain.

Juni Silbern

If the trim young woman was surprised or disturbed to see a demoness working the desk (she was), she hid it well. Her only initial outward response to the woman's exuberant greeting was to bore in to her with her cold, pale eyes, slowly and mechanically scanning the newcomer like some kind of weird ambulatory xerox machine with a blue octopus on its head.
"...A room, yes. I plan to stay through the winter," she replied in a surprisingly husky, rasping voice; one which carried an immediately noticeable but not immediately placeable accent. "Ah...yes, do," she invited.
Juni tried to retain her dignity and her meticulously crafted facade of cool disaffection as she witnessed the unique spectacle that was Cosette's campaign against the lockbox. Really, she did her best, and it was an effort worthy of the bards. Tragically, though, her toils and travails in this endeavor were - much like Cosette's - ultimately in vain. Struggle as she might, her trademark scowl gradually gave way to a raised eyebrow, then a funny sort of grimace, which broke finally in to a smirk, and then she was pulling her springy forelocks over her eyes and shielding her quickly reddening face behind a hand as her shoulders shook with barely stifled laughter. By the time Cosette completed her gymnastics act, however, Juni had already straightened herself out again and was diligently pretending that nothing was out of order. Her scowl was, if anything, even sourer than before, but her ears were still a little flushed.

"Ahem...Doctor J. Silbern, lord professor of aethermantic theory and foremost authority on applied transmutative aethermancy at the Royal Institute For Irrational Mechanics in Dermond, Einigkeit. Your servant..." She gave the thin air to the direct left of Cosette's head a weird little smirk. "Ah...I am what some might frivolously call a 'wizard,' and a relatively accomplished one, yes? My name carries considerable weight in certain circles, you know, and so of course i am called on quite often when..."
Juni tugged absently at her stupid bowtie, which appeared to be made from the same blue-and-grey tartan fabric as her blazer. She tucked a lock of hair behind an ear, and cleared her throat several times. The scowl wavered a bit.
"--Uh, i, is there somewhere i can actually get situated tonight?" she broke off finally, fixing the clock to the right side of the room with a newly withering stare. "I am quite tired after my long travel, you understand, and..."

Abel ₭yrin
Son + Half-Human, Half-Unknown + Thirteen

⌲ It was hard not to notice when Riker and Richocet arrived seeing as Richocet and the other horses were rather vocal about it. Probably, just glad to see that their friend is back inside safe with it being late and cold, Abel thought fondly. He pet the horse he was standing in front of a bit more, smiling even when she jutted her long face out letting out a neigh as Richocet passed by as Riker lead the horse down the aisle.

Abel watched the vampire walk by without turning to look directly resulting in a long side eye of weary. It wasn't that Abel was upset or bothered to see Riker in particular. He was just a little annoyed at seeing someone else in general, though he supposed he had spent the last hour or so only interacting with K2 and now the horses. He let out a sigh, trailing his hand down the horse in front of him. She nudged his hand and then his chest as if telling him he couldn't ignore the rest of the barn. Abel sighed again, rolling his eyes fondly at the animal, before giving her one more pat and then stepping away from her stall.

Riker was standing with Richocet who was clipped in at the grooming corner. Riker didn't stop what he was doing to address Abel as the man asked about how Abel's school was going. Which did not surprise Abel in the slightest as that seem to be the only the man wanted to talk about. For some reason, that made it easier to work into his current mood. Abel wasn't put on the spot to answer. He knocked his head back and forth thinking of an answer as he came closer ending up resting on some rails with his arms thrown over haphazardly and his chin on the polished wood. He watched as Riker worked with Richocet.

"T'is fine. As always." He answered aborting an eyeroll, snow falling off of Richocet, the saddle, blanket, and even Riker. K2 had followed after the boy, but seeing that he wasn't about to really move soon bounced over to Riker trying for some pets from the man. "Were you in your office all day - I didn't see you much today? You know Mom hates it when you 'lock' yourself in there." He asked not at all concerned, just curious while quoting his mom. Besides, if Abel was about to get chided by his mom for being out late, then at least Riker might too.

Flicker his fingers absentmindedly, Abel's eyes went to Richocet dusted in snow and very pretty. The boy perked up, "can I help with Richocet? Do you have any treats?" Abel asked sounding interested in the answer. Richocet shook their head, their mane flying in waves around.

Ariah ₭yrin
Mother + Human + Thirty-Two + Household Manager

⌲ Ariah drew closer to Thale as she spoke to him so that by the time she was waiting for his answer, she was nearly in front of him. Her chapped lips flickered down when he said that he was kind of cold and Ariah thought about shoving off her jacket to give to him but deciding the boy might not appreciate that - it's hard to judge with boys if they wanted to receive help or not. So she kept her jacket but made the decision to hurry the two inside so that he could be warm soon.

Which was apparently an easy challenge as Thale agreed to head inside with her in the prospect of something warm to eat. She smiled brightly at the agreement. "Oh good, I don't want either one of us to get sick with this weather," and then added, "what would you like to eat?" Hoping to get ideas now of what he would like to eat. Most of the cooks had left for the day and the chef that lived on the grounds was probably enjoying his own downtime. Ariah didn't want to bother him, and probably wouldn't have to, considering there tended to be snacks and prepped meals left for all hours of the day. If there wasn't anything already made to Thale and her's liking, she supposed she could try cooking something up. She was a decent cook and at the very least she could follow directions from a recipe.

Ariah turned to take a few steps towards the house, expecting Thale to follow beside her, when she picked up another voice carried by the passing wind. Cocking her head, Ariah scanned the area the two of them were standing in. She didn't see anything at first and thought perhaps she had been hearing things, but with another few tentative steps forward, she finally sees a petite blonde who looked to be around the same age as Thale. She was certainly not dressed for the weather in a skirt and pretty sleeveless top. "Goodness, child, what are you wearing in this weather?" Ariah cringed the moment the words were out of her mouth. She didn't mean to criticize, but her worry leaked into voice before she was able to think about it.

Ariah recognized the young girl, she had been around the estate for a few days now, but Ariah hadn't had the pleasure or opportunity of actually interacting with her yet. She thought her name started with an L, but she couldn't recall the rest. "Sweetie, Thale and I are about to head inside and get something to eat. Would you like to join us?" The offer was more than genuine and Ariah really didn't want to leave the girl outside with the weather picking up.

User Image Eirlys listened quietly as Zurinh spoke, her golden eyes never once leaving him as he did so. She found his words intriguing. "So you enjoy creating things as well as taking care of the flora? That is wonderful!" She gave a single soft clap of her small hands out of excitement. "It was my job to look after a forest and I always enjoyed it very much. I have never had a chance to try things like metal and jewelry making. It must be a very entertaining hobby." Eirlys' hobbies had always consisted of watching the villagers who lived on her land, especially the children. The forest animals were always interesting as well. Oh how she missed that life.

Shortly after speaking her eyes darted to the window. The curtain was still open and the flood lights were on outside, lighting up the snow that was falling. The precipitation was so thick that she could not see anything past it. "What intense weather!" She said as she leaned forward a bit to get a better look. However, the window was quite far away from her bed. She clearly wished that she could see the snow closer. She may have been stuck in it recently and gotten sores from it, but the fact still remained that the sight was absolutely breathtaking.
