Natalie could hardly believe it was already December! She was window-shopping in downtown Barton after work. It was early evening, the sun had set, and there were Christmas lights in all the shops. Even the street lamps seemed to look more magical somehow. Natalie didn't exactly trust how quiet her life had been for the past few months, but she kind of welcomed it. One never knew when things on Gaia could suddenly get very ugly, so Natalie was going to enjoy a little dose of "peace on earth and goodwill towards men" while she could get it!
