SPC. Huang, Mishiranu
- 3rd Brigade Combat Team - 1st Cavalry -

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

tab Mishiranu followed Katie’s gaze till he could somewhat make out the door that they would use for their escape. Seeing Katie increase her pace he followed suit, keeping in tandem with her as they moved through the dark aisles of the Auto Zone towards the exit. Mishiranu passed a few unseen obstacles, his body colliding with a quiet thud and a muttered curse from himself as his eyes tried to adjust to see the scattered obstacles around them. But he was surprised when Katie slipped on something, that was spread partially across their walkway, easily avoidable if seen ahead of time. Mishiranu noticed Katie seemed to tunnel vision on escaping, maybe it was their stressful situation? But it wasn’t the best mindset to keep at the moment.

:tab Mishiranu himself moved around the puddle safely and picked Katie up quickly and setting her down on the drier surface, “Be careful with your steps, you might slip again.” He told her quietly, not sure exactly how much of whatever it was that was on the ground had gotten on her shoes or body. He himself could already feel the thick, gooey substance that he identified as car oil, was spreading across his hands from where he had picked up Katie. That wouldn’t be good if he wanted to have a solid grip on his weapon. “Stay focused but keep an eye on your surroundings Katie, it won’t do us good if you hurt yourself badly.” Mishiranu gave her a piece of advice while they kept moving, their slow jog moved to a slightly more subdued speed to prevent another fall. He hoped she took his advice, who knows what she could miss next time and who knows what the repercussions could be.

tab They reached the door safely, thankfully, and Mishiranu quickly pushed it open without a problem and ushered Katie through. It took his eyes a few second to the bright shine of the sun down on them, dark spots littering his vision. “Let’s go past this neighborhood you were talking about, maybe we can run into your sister and if she’s in a pickle we should be able to help.” He gave his two cents, not wanting to go back to a motel only to wait for a sister that might have been caught in a sticky situation that he could’ve helped with, but for all he knew, he was throwing Katie and himself back into the frying pan.

The place fell deafeningly quiet quickly after the departure of the red headed female, but relatively peaceful with the tension dissipating from the air, now much easier to focus on noises from potential threats in the silence. Tapping a finger on the wood for a moment, the raven haired female glanced behind her curiously at the wall of dwindling alcohol, debating on taking a bottle or two, though not for herself. In a time like this, as proven by the red head, people were very likely to turn to drinking to drown out their problems, so perhaps if she were to come across another person it could be traded for something she could actually use. Grabbing two bottles, slipping the messager bag that she wore mostly hidden under her cloak in front of her to place them carefully inside, she closed it back up securely. Gun fitting in the rim of her jeans, this time making sure it was a bit more safe by giving a few swings at the air with her katana in different motions, it hadn't fallen out yet so it should be fine for a while.

Avoiding the glass decorating the floor which was sticking to it from the alcohol that seeped into the wood boards, walking out from around the bar counter and towards the door; outside, Dark glanced around the surrounding area, eyes resting on the direction that Astrid had went but she was nowhere in sight. Not taking the risk, she had decided to turn and walk in the opposite direction, one that would take her back to her base eventually with a few turns here and there; since she was going to head this path anyway, she might as well head back with very little supplies to show for her adventure. Unhappy with the results, she debated if the the city may already be pretty much stripped clean, enough to where any valuables that remained were scarce and almost impossible to find, though there wasn't much hope that any other place would be much better. It had only been about a week, maybe some places still hadn't been touched by the apocalypse? Who knows how fast it spread, there could be a chance.

Keeping to the shadows, not staying out in the open but being wary as she walked near alleyways, weapon still drawn, she decided it would be best to remain on the sidewalk instead of taking back roads where zombies will more than likely be hiding in clusters.

While she slightly questioned the description of the boy, she assumed it was because the person in front of her was distressed. The only reason she questioned it was because she could describe every inch of Katie in detail - Katie was her reason to live, an innocent bundle of hope. Jaime was about to tell him to get up and put a sock in it so that they could go and find his brother, but her thoughts were rudely interrupted by an unfamiliar voice. "Hello?" A male with stark white hair had entered the room they were in. By the look of it, he seemed a little younger than herself.

Before he spoke his next words, she readied the bat once more. Seven days of not seeing a soul, and now she stumbled upon two other living people. Jaime's pale pink lips were curved into a frown. When he asked if she had been the one who cleared the zombies outside, she opened her mouth to reply. "Mhmm..." She muttered, eyeing the boy. Her dark blue eyes narrowed as they reached the smeared blood below his nose. "What happened?" She asked, her head nodding in his direction. It seemed unlikely that it was because of a zombie, but she wanted to be careful, just in case. Jaime, had a million things running through her mind and a million different places she felt she needed to be. She rolled her shoulders, eyes kept locked on the white-haired male, but still keeping some attention on Cinder - in case they were working together. The fact that two people happened to be in one place raised some doubt in her, but she still believed Cinder's story.

Today seemed to bring everyone out of their hiding places and Jaime really wasn't sure who she could trust. In the back of her mind, the safety of her sister clawed at her. "Both of you, are you carrying weapons? If so, what?" Jaime figured she'd better get that out of the way while she could. Unless either of them posed a threat, she had no intentions on trying to take anything away. Because not only would it cause more tension, they'd be more useful armed. But hopefully, she'd be able to find Cinder's brother and be on her merry way back to Katie. Another gunshot pierced through the air, then another followed it. These came from a different direction than the last though. Anxiety was building up in her chest, so many gunshots...

                                                                              TL;DR

Weary of him, she answered his question them asked him about his bloody nose. She then proceeded to ask about both of their weapons and what they had. She also heard two gun shots (hope that amount is right).

She was not surprised to discover it had been the soldier. Katie took his whispered lecture with a small nod, knowing that everything he had said was correct. Internally, she made herself promise not to put herself in that sort of situation again, to pay more attention to her surroundings and keep herself safe. Not only could she have caused a problem for Mishiranu, she needed to remain healthy for Jaime. Katie continue towards the door, stepping carefully to make sure she didn't slip. She also kept an eye on the floor, making sure not to cause another issue.

Finally, they reached the door. Mishiranu pushed the door opened and Katie quickly exited. The heavy door swung shut behind them. Katie rubbed her eyes, adjusting to the sunlight again. She observed her surroundings. A dirty old, empty alleyway. Katie nodded when he said they should go look for Jaime. "Okay." She said, pulling out her map to find her whereabouts. She observed it for a minute, deciding which way to go. The neighborhood was only an incomplete shape on her map. She hadn't been through the area yet, but knew where it was. "It's just south of here. I have a compass if we get lost too." Katie said with a small smile. She scraped the bottom of her tennis shoes on the asphalt, attempting to wipe off any oil. She then picked up a piece of discarded paper with small print on it, wiping the back of her head and her shoulders off before dropping the paper back on the ground.

"Hopefully we won't run into any more troub-" Katie's words stopped, hearing a pop sound through the air. It sounded a lot like when the soldier had fired his gun. Katie flinched at the sound. Only seconds after, another sounded through the air. It was a bit away from them, but not too far. "Was that a gun?" She asked, eyes gazing up towards Mishiranu. Her eyes drifted back off in the direction only once more before she wiped her hands on her pants and started off down the alley in the direction they were meant to be going. Katie lightly rubbed her elbow, a small pain in it. She decided to ignore it, as it wasn't enough to be an issue. "Thank you so much for everything you've been doing for me mister..." Katie's words fell blank when she realized she didn't know his name. In her head, she had been calling him the soldier. "I'm sorry sir, what was your name?" Katie asked, as politely as possible as she paused at the edge of the alleyway, peering out into the street. Being the opposite of the one they had just came from, it was relatively empty - probably having attracted most of the zombies away with Mishiranu's previous shots.

I'm located The edge of an alleyway I'm with Mishiranu

She wiped the car oil off her and then explained where the neighborhood she was going to was located briefly. Katie was a little startled at the sound of more gunshots and then asked Mishiranu if it was a gun - only having heard bullets sound a few times. She then thanked him and asked him for his name, exiting the alleyway.

"Call my name just as loud as you can, I will adore so,
more so, I really wanna scream."

A bright red mass of hair poked out from between two buildings as Astrid observed the new street. The area was plentiful with shops and businesses, being near the center of the city, and it shouldn't be too difficult to stock up on garments... provided that not every store had been cleaned out. Eyes scanning both sides of the road, a couple of stray, slow zombies were wandering around, but nothing too threatening, and nothing close by. No one else could be seen either. Picking out the nearest clothing store across the road and slightly to the left, she stepped out cautiously from the alleyway with her eyes tracking each zombie. With any luck, they wouldn't notice her and attempt to follow as she made her way quickly to her chosen destination. With light footsteps, she managed to make it across without much attention, and she dashed into the building, pulling the glass door open quickly and shutting it. With her bat raised, she turned away from the outside view and observed the inside of the store. The place wasn't as empty as the bar was; survivors didn't need as many clothes as they did food and water, so most of the clothing seemed to remain. While it was a bit of a mess with shirts and jackets off of hangers and piles of handled clothes on the tables, it seemed like a decent find. The only potential problems were survivors lingering in the building or hidden zombies.

Standing quietly for a moment, she strained her ears for any hint of movement. Some shuffling was heard on the upper floor, but it sounded like the steps of a rotting zombie, so the woman wasn't too worried. However, she walked through the racks and tables of clothing with caution, her bat raised protectively in front of her.
Wandering over to the women's jeans section with soft footsteps, she picked through the small piles one-handed for a decent size. There weren't many, but she managed to find a few different styles with her small size, which she hastily grabbed and threw over her free arm. Poking her head above the racks of clothes, she scanned the place for a fitting room, which she found with ease. Rushing over to the rooms, she grabbed a few t-shirts along the way, not caring about a specific size, only that they were in dark colors with little to no design.

Ignoring the numbers that were usually taken to hand on the outside of a fitting room door, she looked over her choice of rooms and made her way to the end of the row. While it wasn't necessary that the clothes fit perfectly, she wanted to ensure their comfort - they needed to allow for easy movement and protection against the weather. Pushing open the slightly cracked door to the last stall, her eyes fell upon a zombie, half on the little bench near the mirror and half on the floor. Backing away swiftly, she gasped a little at the surprise as the creature lifted itself up and made its way toward her. Swearing, she lifted her bat, readying to strike as her back made contact with the stalls behind her. Rotting hands reached for her small frame and a look of panic distorted her features momentarily.
[******** off." Inhaling sharply, she swung her bat down quickly, aiming for the monster's disgusting head.

Emotion: Cautious; surprised; panicked

Company: No one

Whereabouts: Clothing store

{TL;DR}
After checking if the cost was clear, Astrid hurries quietly across the new street full of shops, avoiding the few zombies that were a little ways away. Heading in her chosen clothing shop without being noticed, she listens for any movement and only suspects zombies on the upper floor. Grabbing a few pairs of jeans and t-shirts, she heads cautiously to the fitting rooms in the back, to ensure their comfort and ease for travel. Picking a stall, she pushes the door open to find a stray zombie. Backing away, her back hits the stalls on the other side as she's a bit closed in as the zombie reaches for her. Lifting her bat, she prepares to swing.

Not far from the destination, in times like these, a person had to be grateful of legs that could survive walking long distances without getting tired or aching; it would be an extreme disadvantage that could possibly result in death for it to be any other way. So many had to of lost their lives to the simple things like that already, but such thoughts shouldn't exist, it destroys the only thing that one had left, hope. Thankfully, the pink haired female's strength was entirely in her legs, so while her upper body muscle was severely lacking, at least her lower half made up for it, and her innovative ideas made up for anything that she couldn't do with intelligence and planning. If only she wanted to become an inventor or a scientist instead of an actress, maybe she could do a little more to survive, or to stop the apocalypse. Though, with only having one or two years of college if she went directly after graduating, she still wouldn't of been too helpful anyhow. But still.

The silence brought the gift of thought to the woman who already never knew what it was like to have a quiet mind, even now when it seemed like such a blessing, sometimes she wished that her thoughts would stop. Arriving at the pet store not a moment too soon, Luciana aimed the shotgun at the glass doors, carefully peaking through for signs of movement; due to the sun being blocked out by the clouds, it was easy enough to see inside without any pesky glares upping the difficulty. Satisfied, but paranoid, she removed a hand from her weapon to shape a fist with her small fingers, tapping the glass once before readying her weapon again, waiting a few seconds to see if anything popped up with antsy feet, occasionally peeling her eyes away to glance around her. After a short wait, she felt more reassured, grabbing the cold handle and opening the one door; it somehow felt a bit more chilly inside than it did outside, but not enough to cause discomfort to the female who preferred the cold over the heat any day. Cautiously checking around the store first for any threats, it seemed that today she was quite lucky, not spotting a single rotting corpse, walking or otherwise.

There was a good amount of pet toys and grooming supplies in the decent sized store, however a lot of food has been taken. After the events that transpired, the female that had low hopes in humanity prior doubted people cared enough to get food for their pets, at least not half of the people that looted the store did, so they probably took most of it to eat themselves if they got desperate. There were a few bags of treats, which she quickly bagged, foods for animals she didn't own, birds, hamsters, fish, and tanks full of discolored water and dead sea creatures. There were a couple of large bags of food, for dogs and cats, however there were no smaller versions and it would be far too heavy to lug back to her house and up flights of stairs. Still, if it were her only option, she'd take it. Canned animal food was completely gone, since it would last a long time; there was a small bag of food, open, and across the floor, probably stale but it was better than nothing. Her pets would eat it if they got hungry enough.

Glancing around further, she tried to find a shopping cart, or something with wheels that would make transporting the big bags easier; she could barely carry one a few steps, let alone back to her home, but if she could find something with wheels it would make the job at least doable. Still, if there was nothing else, she would give it a try, but that was a last resort. Maybe she could make something... Even dragging it would be easier than carrying it, so if she could at least find a platform of some kind... She was determined to figure something out, do whatever she needed to bring food back to her pets, her babies.

I guess we are who we are; maybe we took this too far?

Noah stood there for a moment I seeing that he had surprised them with by entering the house. The women then answered him in a low humming noise. Her eyes mainly fixed on him. He felt a slight chill on his back, seeing her so focused on him. "I tripped and fell getting away from some of the zombies.." Ashamed he broke eye contact with the woman, wiping his nose with his hoodie again. He turned his attention to the boy sitting on the floor, tears in his eyes. I wonder if he's okay.. Did one of the zombies get him possibly? A little unsure, Noah shifted uncomfortably, a hand gripping his backpack. Noah remembered how he had a close call with someone who had turned back at the military base. Someone sick had gotten through the security health checks. He remembered waking up from resting to shear madness. It was a close call, something he didn't want to go through again.

Noah was brought back from his mind where he was and the woman. She now was ordering him and the boy. His grip tightened on his knife by his side which he had kept close to his side. After a moment of hesitation, held out his knife holding it up with just two fingers. He realized she had control of the situation, and he'd rather not agitate her. "I also have a hand gun in my pack, along with some cellphones. You're more than welcome to search my pack." He regretted those words he just spoke. He knew if she did, she'd find his last remaining food supply.

He then says she can search his pack herself if she'd like but regrets it right after afraid she'd find his food and take it.

SPC. Huang, Mishiranu
- 3rd Brigade Combat Team - 1st Cavalry -

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

tab The distinct sound of small arms fire drew Mishiranu’s attention. Two shots, they were too far away from the shots for him to actually tell what type of gun was fired, but he knew they weren’t from an M4, he had grown too accustomed to the sound of an M4 firing from both long and close ranges to not know what it sounded like. “Was that a gun?” Mishiranu turned to Katie and nodded, “Yea, definitely a gun.” The question now was just where was it fired? He couldn’t exactly rely on his hearing with all the buildings around that would no doubt bounce the sound around. “We’ll need to be careful if we run into whoever has the gun, don’t exactly want to spook em’ and have their finger slip.” It happened all too often.

“It’s no problem, but you can call me Mishiranu, or Mishi for short. Either one works.” Mishiranu told her, “And no need to be polite, I feel old when people call me mister…” He said, only half-joking, but a carefree smile on his face, something that generally wouldn’t be on someone’s face in a situation like this. “Now how about we go and find your sister, I’m sure she’s worried about you. “ His words came easy from his own feelings, if his sisters were out here. He would go through hell just to make sure they were okay. And so with one glance out of the alleyway they were in and onto the streets, he glanced at the sky then began moving down the street, trusting his internal compass to take him south.

She hadn't actually imagined violence between people. Instead, she pictured somebody else trying to escape from the flesh eaters. He then added that they needed to be careful of the person with the gun. She nodded in agreement - it would be easy for the person to mistake them for one of the zombies if there was a large crowd of them gathered. It was good that he thought of the stuff she never thought to think of. Katie decided the roads were clear enough to expose herself. She left the alley, turning right onto the sidewalk. Katie only walked at a faster pace, deciding to save her energy should she need to run.

She repeated in a hushed tone, a cheerful undertone to her words. Katie emitted a small, quiet giggle when he said he felt old when people called him mister. "Sorry, mom always told me to call people sir and miss when they were strangers." Katie informed. She missed her mother, she hadn't seen her since the day it all started, that morning before school. Her mother had made her breakfast and her father had been leaving out the door with Jaime to leave to the shop. Jaime had only said they were gone, she hadn't went into details, and Katie didn't really want to know. The entire school had been on lockdown when Jaime came to get her.

Katie moved closely to the shops, quietly looking through the windows. Most looked empty, abandoned, and trashed. Especially the ones that carried food. Her eyes noticed the pet shop sign up ahead, a small smile falling onto her lips. She didn't have time right now, but she noted it for later. Max could use some more dog food. To ration it, they had been feeding him canned food in between, but now they were even low on that. They hadn't had too much supplies to start with, but it seemed like enough. Katie slowed her pace a little, glancing into the window of the pet shop as she passed. The store was somewhat raided, but it didn't seem bad enough that she couldn't find anything. Katie paused at the window though. "Mishi." She alerted in a hushed tone. Her finger pointed to a figure in front of one of the shelves. A woman with bright pink hair and judging by her movements, obviously living.

I'm located In front of a pet shop I'm with Mishiranu (and sort of Luciana)

A silhouette of a person would be seen sitting on top of the rooftop of a store; one leg folded the other one hanging from the edge. At first she might be mistaken as a young man for she had chosen to look and act as of a man. Upon closer look you will notice that she possesses rather feminine features; long eye lashes and slim but toned physique. On her back was a scabbard where her short sword lies.

Carefully she surveyed the streets from above and tried to think of the best route for her to take. Along the alley right beside the store one could hear the continual sounds of a man’s suffering as the rotten creatures feasted upon him. It would take a while to get used to this. If only she could do something for him then she would. However, she needed to keep herself safe for her twin brother. With the current condition of the city she was scared that he might have been already one of the victims of this virus. Still, she refused to believe so for he was the only family she has and the only reason for her to keep on going with her life.

As horrible as it may be she used the man’s agony as a distraction for the zombies. Her supplies are running out which is not a very good thing given the current situation that they are facing right now. If she were to make a move then it would be now. Jacqueline would then head over to the area where the steel pipe was located and slowly climbed down from it; her hands along the pipe while her feet assisted her down against the wall. As she was about to get to the ground, she took one last glance before jumping off. The journey all the way down was peaceful however as soon as she was able to get her feet on the ground a zombie appeared right around the corner of the building lunging itself towards her. With one swift motion, she used its weight against itself sidestepping as she pulled the zombie forward onto the ground as she pulled of her sword from her scabbard slicing off its head. To make sure that it would stay dead she stabbed it’s head with her sword directly to its brain an quickly pull it back.

TL;DR Racquline surveyed her surrounding from the rooftop and took the opportunity to get more supplies while a hoard of zombies are feasting off a man along the alley beside the store. She then went down the other side where no zombies where to be found with the help of the steel pipe that was firmly attached to the building. To her surprise there was a zombie who suddenly welcomed her as soon as she had arrive on the ground and was successfully able to kill it with her sword.

Bang! If instead of the real world, they were in a comic book that word would have appeared with big colored letters written in all caps. The problem was that in comic books gunshots had a sort of comedic effect and wouldn't make much of a mess; that was the opposite in real life. The bullet seemed to hit the male, the sudden groan of pain and the simple sound of a bullet hitting a human being wasn't something Giovanni had forgotten from his early days. However, the second Bang! surprised him more than he expected. The compressed gunpowder echoed mighty through the streets, although what Giovanni hoped to be only a one hitter was in fact a pair. The simple sound of Giovanni's Sig Sauer P226 and the male's, significantly louder as he took note, own firearm shots were only separated by a second or two. The sheer amount of sound was astonishing and extremely bad in such a situation. The sound from the shots earlier where loud but they weren't as spread apart as these two, to which they had already attracted the same attention a badboys/badgirls band would get from teenagers but the crowd Giovanni and the male were about to see ate more.

Giovanni peered over the corner of the wall, the silence that instilled over the clean shot made him want to make sure of it. He noticed the male's handgun on the ground, blood trails not going to far from it. He also noticed that part of the living dead crowd that was attracted by the earlier gunfire was now interested in meeting the newly met. Something Giovanni wished to avoid. He got up from his kneeling position, maintaining a firm grip on his gun and but the index finger returned to hanging in the air near the trigger guard but not in the slider as there was a good reason for trigger discipline to be rather avoidable in that situation. He gave a few, but quick, steps towards the male's location. The male had previously admitted the confirmation of the shot but Giovanni wouldn't just believe in it. He found the male proceeding to use his red tie as a tourniquet, to stop or at least halt the bleeding on the now seemingly broken forearm. Giovanni had him in his sights, a point blank shot to an unarmed and defenseless target would have been the wet dream of any bandit out there. It came with a free Glock 20 Gen4 which was suited with 10mm bullets, confirming that the male's shot was indeed louder, and a good old survival knife that the male had thrown into the pavement ground. It would have been easy but Giovanni wasn't that person to everyone.

He proceeded to holster his Sig Sauer P226 on the black belt holster and remove his cleaver like machete. The weapon itself was quite intimidating, rather larger and heavy looking but Giovanni held it with one hand the same way one would hold a simple knife. One knee hit the ground as he got lower to grab the male's Glock, keeping the machete in a black top-release sheath with leather securing strap that was on his belt as well. He picked up the Glock carefully, knowing that it was a Glock meant it probably used their standard safety action with no on-off safety. He removed the magazine, pulling back the slide and locking it by engaging the slide-stop-lever and inspecting the chamber. He saw a bullet, ready to be fire as any other but the way the Glocks were made was like it was good as empty. Sure guns could fail but at that time he more things to worry about. He kept the magazine on his pants pocket, placing the gun near the male alongside the survival knife he had previously thrown. The male had a good sense of humor as he complimented Giovanni, to then ask for what would happen to be done quickly. Giovanni proceeded go to the male's side and cover their back and heads with his long overcoat. He did so to reduce the possibility of a clear shot from any on looker. "Grab your weapon, keep it pointed to the ground. That knife won't do any good at this distance and I assure you I will break your other arm if you try it." His voice was rather calm, almost like he was having a conversation about the weather, but it still had the strangely firm yet terrifying hint of his personality. "Get up and move with me to inside the building behind us on the other side of the street before I decide to use you as bait. Do you understand?" Giovanni looked at him for a moment, looking the male right in the eyes with his own which had a present underneath. The long stitched scar above his nose that stretches across his face was now visible to the male in full HD. It only made him seen even more intimidating to many and had nothing of an disadvantage on his combat ability as it was healed. He waited for the male to move first as he would move by his in close distance. He had his right arm around the male's shoulder just in case and to keep the black overcoat covering them. The living dead were approaching and as sure as hell he didn't want to be there for longer before the living dead knew where they were going to stay.

ut of the fight:XXXXXX
-- Giovanni will enter the building and move to any safe room with Liam. Probably the highest one as it holds the most advantages. The building can be empty of living dead or not, I leave it up to you.

Giovanni's shot had hit Liam clean on the forearm and broke it. Giovanni proceeded to approach and cover them with his long black overcoat to hide them from a possible sniper's clear shot at them. He asked, ordered, Liam to pick up the Glock and survival knife and go inside with him before the living dead approached close enough to the point they would target the house.

{ A tiny figure emerged from the shadows, an abyss entranced by its captor, a fighting survivor with painted nails, clipping their way into a wooden doll, carving mere marks into her skin. As the scratches begin to surface, a frail smirk plastered across his untidy body. Placing the sharp, metal into his jaw socket as he held it firmly in place. Five milliseconds ago, it had seemed his windswept bangs were cut by thorny hands. A finger suddenly was placed onto his temple as he removed the dagger at once from it's previous position. The symmetrical double edged blades were designed to be so well, that they could slice through potatoes. It wasn't the most heroic thing to say, particularly due to the issues revolved around it. If anything, Raguel was the most cowardly among many, despite his desire to be called "Magenta" for unknown reasons. It had a some what alluring ring to it, biting his lip solemnly as he continued to press on. Treading the dreadful ruins that were rumoured to be the shopping district, eventually it wasn't long before long the male spotted a slim shadow in the corner of his eye. Oh, his poor haemorrhoids - reacting to the poisons fused with it. The mourning dead that had appeared before her, flooded with anguish, as blood fled the area as it was terminated. Were zombies to reincarnate? Were they truly immortal? Raguel blinked carefully, a single mutter escaping his icy lips; I believe you are wasting your breath for survival, I'd rather run from such a creature, Mr. WeirdoStalkerHunter. That's how they said it when I was dead, ha. Anyway... What's 'yer name? I'm obviously RageulPoopyFace. Nice to meet ya! Raguel handed over his hand for a high five, was he really submitting to become friends with someone? It wasn't like him, it was far too surreal. Slowly it became more dim, light bulbs flickering on and off, the cold wispy wind touching his fair skin. What could he possibly do? How long would he stay alive before the dead were to carve into his skin - his living nightmare as he eventually lost all sanity. It was tense, the trepidation of becoming one of them. He bit harder into his lip, causing it to bleed softly. The male's eyes suddenly shook as a zombie approached him from behind, he was to die on the spot if he were not to act quickly. His eyes softened as he looked at Jacqueline, Will you be my friend? I have nobody and I bet we'll be great buds some day! Raguel continued, rather pleased with the outcome regardless of his answer. Truth be told, Raguel was slightly clingy and would be determined to make this stranger his friend regardless, right off the bat and blunt.

A grin formed softly on his face,
I bet 'ya can't use a bow like me! I--- Eh?! What is that sound-- Raguel asked, before turning around in horror from the mere sight of moulded flesh before him. Unholy, unholy, unholy. God save him if he were to live this, Raguel shrouded in fear as he tugged at his dagger in his pocket. Were more to come? Unholy, unholy, what unholy spirits lived within?! He whimpered, grabbing the bow from his rucksack, cradling it as he plucked the bow strings. Closing his eyes as he shot the arrow, missing as it ripped a banner off an abandoned stall, shredding it to pieces as it became the dead's painted ornament - a headdress made from cotton shreds. Raguel began crying in agony, the screams of a female - although he was not truly a female as suspected. His distinctive hoodie began suffering from perspiration as he fell, crawling away from the monster. What a mocking spectacle. Raguel brushed his hair aside, preventing any fearful tones as he stood his ground, Fearful, right? Haha, I was a good actor when I studied, y-yeah. I kill these things all the time, look, I'll show ya he muttered, preparing to shoot. His back was straight, standing next to Jacqueline, the zombie was now where Raguel was not too long ago. Steadying his bow, Raguel fired instantly, ... It's dead....? Raguel questioned before facing Jacqueline who was more baffled by his face. Dark hair, like Raguel.. Who.. Was he? Was he even a he any more? Raguel couldn't tell, maybe he couldn't tell if Raguel was a female or male either. Either way, Raguel had failed to realize the zombie was still alive, crawling and eating away at the pavement. Raguel rummaged in the contents of his rucksack, visually from afar, it would be possible to see his contents as his rucksack was torn at all side: a small phone with a dead battery and it's charging dock laid to one side, with a half eaten baguette and a palette of sushi next to it. Below it, was a spare change of clothes and a warm blanket. It had seemed quite simplistic, however the rucksack was ever so deceiving. Despite the odd sagging due to its empty stomach, it appeared full and much larger from the outside. Despite the weather, Raguel often wore warm clothes, as if he was travelling in snow. It was sunny and slowly, it was to fall night. Soon enough, Raguel was to be in need of shelter, as it was far too dangerous to risk another night sleeping whatever had came along his way. Sniffling, the male was to recover from the cold soon enough, he was hoping that it would be with Jacqueline he would do so.
                                      。」

Raguel arrives at the shopping district, where he intervenes with Jacqueline. There, a zombie approaches Raguel from behind as he requests Jacqueline to be his friend. Raguel discovers the zombie and is baffled in fear, shot the zombie with an arrow, however it seems to have survived the shot. During this, Raguel rummages through his contents to reveal he is on a shortage of supplies.

Blood trickled down her sword as her held it by her side; to think that these vial creatures who crave for flesh were once a human being just like her. The unfortunate thought of her brother being turned in one of them came running back to her mind, something of which she forced to relinquish. ’He is alive’ She kept repeating in her mind. With a small exhale of breath, she swung her sword clean into the air letting the tainted blood remove itself from the blade. One must keep things clean if to make sure of surviving in this day and time. After the said encounter from the undead, Jacqueline heard footsteps coming from the corner of the building. The hoard must have finished their meal for there was no longer the sound of a man screaming in pain, only a few squeaks and some still continued to feed from it. For safety measures she took careful steps as she slowly turned around not to make a sound. The tense was released upon her shoulders as she heard a voice coming from behind. Quickly she turned and there right in front of her was a survivor who looked as if about her age; features of which not sure of what gender might have belonged to.

Jacqueline stared at the stranger blankly and studied his movements for in this era even human beings are not to be trusted. An eyebrow would rise upon hearing the name of which she was called. WeidoStalkerHunter. Unlike him she was wise enough to think about what she was about to do before acting it if that would be considered as a weirdo and by all means she would accept it. Better to be careful that to end up dead. There were still things needed to be done. Her brother was nowhere to be found and there was no time for her to waste. Then again, maybe this person would know of his whereabouts.

As she fished the picture of her brother from her pocket placing her sword onto the ground, a groan would be heard from behind the building. Eyes darting right behind the friendly stranger she saw one of the undead as it made its way towards their direction. His voice must have drawn it in. Her eyes widen as the zombie lunged on to the stranger who was now screaming like a little girl. That would determine her gender then. Picking up her sword she then stood up and readied herself to launch an attack but before she was able to do so the young lady would have sent an arrow only that she missed by about… a ton causing a banner to cover the undead making it a little bit fashionable which in her own was kind of comedic. Seeing that the creature would have taken more time to reach them she felt that it was still safe to give the stranger the look before he was about to launch another arrow, this time hitting its target. Down goes the zombie as he started to rummage into his stuff. It was a miracle that this person was to last up until today. He was just too careless and carefree to see that the zombie he attacked was not killed. Rolling her eyes, she took a few steps forward and stabbed the creature in its brains and run to the corner of the building to look at the streets to see if the coast is clear. Once that was settled she picked up his arrow of the ground and pulled the other out of the zombie swishing it into the air to clear the blood that was in it. ”Next time make sure to aim for their brain. And I believe that you have a limited number of these so make sure your attacks count.” She said dryly as she handed over his arrows to him. Afterwards she would turn her back to the stranger and look back at the streets as she spoke to him. ”You can call me Jack. I’m planning on going to some grocery store to resupply would you like to come with?” Normally she would rather head out by herself that way she will be able to escape the these filthy creatures easily but given that in her eyes Reguel was nothing but a helpless young lady, she would be more than willing to help and keep her safe.

Location: Shopping District
Company: Herself
TL;DR Jacqueline was then joined by Raguel. She eventually killed the zombie that he had failed to kill and returned the arrows that Raguel had shot back to him. Going back to survey the area to see if the coast is clear she then introduced herself as Jack and asked him if he would like to join him to get more supplies, still thinking that he was of the female race.

SPC. Huang, Mishiranu

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

tab Mishiranu halted and turned to look at Katie at the sound of his name. As he walked towards the pet store to check what she was pointing at he made a quick survey of the area, looking for undead or other people. When he made it next to Katie and peaked inside he was surprised to see someone, a person, she had a gun from what- Wait. Was her hair pink? That was something he had not seen before, only inside of manga or anime he had watched in his spare time. "Well that’s new, I wonder if that’s natural.” He muttered quietly to himself, but still able for Katie to hear. He quickly palmed his forehead as the comment turned from innocent to dirty in his mind in a second. That was very unlike him, he was a professional not a goddamn pervert! He just hoped Katie didn’t understand what he meant in any way. Only Mishiranu, a soldier and combat veteran, would be able to think of something like that on an empty street in the middle of the apocalypse with the possible threat being the center of his thoughts.

Shaking his head to clear his mind of its dirty thoughts as his face turned a light shade of pink, he focused on what she was armed with. It was larger but he couldn’t exactly tell what it was with the glass and the now revealed sun providing an obnoxious amount of glare. He looked down to Katie, his mind purged, “Do you want to talk to her?” He asked quietly. Mishiranu was all gung ho for helping another person but he didn’t want to put Katie at risk. It just felt wrong for him to decide what to do, Katie wasn’t a soldier so he definitely didn’t feel comfortable just ordering her around. She was a civilian that he wanted to protect. And he would never be able to forgive himself if he had somehow injured another girl, be it directly or inadvertently. He had enough regrets in his life. He didn’t need another.

((Ugh. Bad. I hope that my first paragraph doesn't offend anyone.))

TL;DR

Mishiranu is distracted by the girl pointed out by Katie. Mishiranu's mind is in the gutter before he quickly rids himself of the thoughts. He asks Katie if she wants to talk to the girl because he doesn't want to dictate what they do.

The front of the store was devoid of anything with wheels, though there was still the locked door that lead to the back that remained unchecked; trying to think about it logically without getting her hopes up, there was a good chance that something back there had to of had wheels, even a small store like this had to have something to move heavy things to and from. Too bad she didn't have a crowbar, it would make prying open the door easier, but it was still worth giving it another shot to get in, despite failing the first time she had came here. It was metal, and though not heavy, it wasn't easy to try and use her dagger as a pick lock like she tried the first time; if only she had an actual lock picking kit... Feeling eyes watching her, though probably purely coincidence as the paranoid girl was constantly checking over her shoulder, she turned to look behind her inside the store, but her eyes were quickly directed to looking through the window at the sight of popping colors that stood out from the gray landscape.

Sighting the two figures standing there, the easily scared girl jumped, holding back a scream as she quickly learned in this new environment, and jumped towards the right; landing flat on the ground, not doing the most dexterous move imaginable, but it got her safely behind a solid grayish white shelf. Making a sound of discomfort, the pink haired girl got up onto her hands and knees, putting a hand to her chest and muttering a small "ow". Not the most smartest of actions, she noted, but she didn't really think before reacting, she couldn't die here. Even though they were humans, not zombies, that didn't mean they were friendly. Propping her back against the shelf, she wrapped her hands around the gun, pumping it and holding it upwards; though she realized something... The man was dressed in a military uniform, and the girl didn't... look particularly threatening, and she seemed pretty young. Biting on her lip, she poked her head out slightly to get a look at them, before quickly bring it back; even so, it could be a ruse to trick her! People used kids - well, younger people, since she wasn't a kid kid - all the time to trick people, and he could of stolen that uniform from someone else. Everyone would trust the military in times like this...

She just couldn't take the risk, she had to make sure she made it back in one piece, unharmed so she could bring back that food with her. She kept bouncing quickly between looking on the right and left sides of her, listening to see if the door opened. 'Please go away or be friendly... Please go away or be friendly...' Luciana is busy trying to plan out how to move the food back to her apartment and thinks the back room might have something, though her paranoia gets to her so she checks behind her, and for once she actually did it when needed as she spots Mishi and Katie through the window; terrified, she jumps behind the nearest object without thinking, landing flat on her chest. It hurt, but she got up, held her gun, and peaked out at them. She was curious about Mishi being in uniform and Katie being so young, but she couldn't take the risk trusting them just based on appearance, so she continues to hide and begs that they either go away or are friendly.
