As Raguel reached out to pet Max, he didn't flinch. Instead, he closed one eye, rather enjoying the attention. However, as Raguel made movements as if he were about to attack his owner, the dog's mood immediately shifted, a low growl erupting from Max's throat. Not quite expecting such a reaction from the young male, Jaime took one large step backwards, readying her bat in case she needed to use it. However, she really didn't want to. Not on humans. Not on two kids. If it came down to it though, she most certainly would. Realizing that he had yet to make an attempt to harm her, Jaime's shoulder's relaxed slightly. However, she still wasn't about to trust the strangers enough to lower her weapon.

Jaime remained silent a moment after Raguel's introduction. "Magenta... what sort of name is that?" She couldn't resist. A small laugh followed her words. As little as she knew about how much of a threat the two teenagers might be, her snarky attitude managed to seep through. Besides, Mr. Perfect wasn't very creative. Jaime fought away the urge to cringe at the sight of Raguel playing with the dagger in his mouth. "Careful kiddo, don't want to cut your tongue out." Jaime warned condescendingly. Of course, she really didn't find him mature enough to handle such a weapon after his first impression on her.

Then, more sudden movements caused Jaime to tense up once more. Instead, he moved in the opposite direction, flying back behind Jack. However, his words did bring satisfaction. She apparently scared him enough that he thought she was capable of killing him, and of course, she found satisfaction in his unintended compliment. Even though first one wasn't much of an accomplishment once she took age into account. Jaime found herself cautiously eyeing the hand of the other stranger. The male with... Magenta, called himself Jack. A little of a high voice, but Jaime assumed it was because Jack hadn't hit puberty or something like that. Plus, Jack seemed to have more sense than the idiot with him.

Eyeing Jack's hand, she realized she had to make a decision. Stick around, or ditch them. However, two young teens stuck wandering the streets alone, not much older than Katie, didn't sit right with her. Besides, Magenta was obviously capable of nothing useful by the looks of it. So, she made her decision. Jaime lowered her bat, reaching a hand out and returning Jack's polite gesture. "Jaime." She replied with an attempted half-hearted smile. Max had stopped his growling a while back, but still stared at the two unsurely. "Easy boy." Jaime said, her eyes drifting over towards the dog. Her words calmed him and he returned to his original excited state.

"So... Uh. Can't say I'm too good with introductions, so we can just skip the nonsense, yeah?" Jaime spoke, her tone rather blunt and uneasy. She still didn't trust them, but it took a lot for her to trust anyone as it was. "Is there anywhere specific you two were headed? It's not safe to stand out in the open like this." She spoke, nodding her head over in the direction of a zombie across the road, who had yet to fully catch attention of them. Of course, she wasn't willing to abandon her mission, but maybe they were going somewhere that she planned on looking around for Katie. "You guys didn't happen to see a little blonde girl in there did you?" Jaime asked, pointing a finger towards the grocery store. It seemed unlikely that they would have run across her, plus hopefully, Katie would have listened to her rules about strangers... which Jaime seemed to be failing completely.

                                                                              TL;DR
Jaime replies to Raguel, remaining cautious around the two before Jack convinces her that they're not trying to be threats. Jaime then introduces herself, asks them where they are going, and also asks if they've seen Katie.

A tear even fell from her eye. She was going to die and so were her new friends. Katie would never see her sister again and never see Max again. It was all over and there was nothing... A gunshot rang through the air once again, pulling Katie out of her depressing thoughts. She couldn't be weak, not now. Luciana wasn't, so she shouldn't be. Katie wiped the tear away from her cheek, listening to Luciana's orders to push through. Katie followed behind Luciana, just about scared to death by the situation.

The loud snarls behind them sent chills down her spine and the hairs on her skin stood up in response. Katie watched Luciana's hands as she ran behind the pink-haired woman. She spotted the ring of keys in hand, not quite understanding the frustration that Luciana was currently going through. Katie skidded to a stop by the doors of the apartment building, it all happened so fast it felt like she had just teleported from one spot to another, now though, she had trouble breathing, the air struggling to fill her lungs. It was all from the anxiety of the situation, she had never been so scared in her life.

Then, as Katie turned, ready to run through the door, she watched as Luciana attempted to push one key in, only to discover it didn't fit. "Please God, let this work." She whispered, desperately begging for the help of a higher power. Katie knew Jaime wasn't religious like her, but Katie had always went to church every Sunday with their mother and was a firm believer in God. Then, the door swung open. Katie reacted immediately to Luciana's words. She flew inside of the door. Katie knew she wasn't strong enough to move any of the seen furniture by herself, so instead, headed over to the bookshelf and began to push. She only hoped one of the other two would join in. Katie pressed her back to the shelf, putting all of her might into it.

I'm located Apartment Lobby I'm with Mishiranu and Luciana I'm Wearing [X]

When the door opened, she ran inside, listening to Luciana's instructions and trying to move the bookshelf, though she knew she couldn't do it alone.

"Call my name just as loud as you can, I will adore so,

As the pair traveled to Dark's base a little ways off, Astrid had no trouble keeping up with the woman, should her pace quicken to a jog on occasion to make their journey faster. The redhead kept her position slightly behind Dark, matching the pace with ease while keeping her steps quiet, her pack bouncing slightly against her back as she went. While she kept her eyes on the surrounding streets, it was a bit unnecessary, given the commotion and gunshots an ever increasing distance away seemed to keep any zombies in the vicinity distracted. Their safety wouldn't last long when the sun finally set completely, but they still had some time to make it inside.

Glancing at Dark as the woman spoke up, she shook her head.
"No, I'm safe." It was a bit of a miracle that she was, having had some close encounters earlier in the day, but it just proved that she could handle things on her own should the situation call for it. While it was highly unlikely for Dark to be harmed, given her weapons and obvious skill, Astrid asked her the question in return, just be sure. "Are you?"

Emotion: Cautious

Company: Dark

Whereabouts: City streets

{TL;DR}
Keeping up with Dark easily, should she decide to pick up the pace, Astrid follows along slightly behind her, keeping her eyes peeled for danger; though it was unlikely there would be any, since all the zombies appeared to be distracted from the gunshots a fair distance away. At Dark's question, she shakes her head and answers truthfully, asking the woman the question in turn, though she thought it was unlikely.

Walking in front, Astrid would witness Darkness' head move back slightly as she scoffed, "Of course!" The woman said boldly, as if it could ever be any other way. It looked like at least the whole human race wasn't completely doomed if this stranger had already caught on that bites and scratches were dangerous (scratches actually aren't without blood or water infection), or that she at least watched one zombie movie. The silence returned, as the gunshots had ceased and there was not many topics for the two strangers to communicate. Instead of trying to force awkward conversations, Dark allowed the two to be quiet; it was probably best they didn't get to know each other anyway, it could only lead to bad things.

It was eerily void of zombies, even with the gunshots bringing them all away, still, much like Astrid, Dark kept her eyes open for any potential threats. The sun was nearing it's end, the sky beginning to turn a little dark, night was about to set in soon and there was still a good bit of walk, even with the occasional jogging. They were nearing the outskirts of the city though, which explained the lack of rotting corpses, most were ones that wandered out searching for food but because of all the noise there was no reason for them to be out where her base was.

For the rest of the time, Dark decided to run, whether Astrid was able to keep up or not. As they moved past neighborhoods, they grew progressively more cheap; the places got smaller, looking like tiny boxes, dying plants and a rundown appearance. They turned into a house, a falling apart fence, one part with a zombie bloodily impaled, only the top half with entrails leaking out of it's torso; the legs of the male zombie were on the ground, the position of the decaying thing to cause the waist to just slowly separate. The smell was, without a doubt, over powering and disgusting, covering a good amount of the area. Why didn't she clean it up? The smell seemed to, at least, keep other zombies away; maybe it was coincidental, but it was worth keeping it if there was even a chance it helped. Entering the home after unlocking it, she gave a look back at Astrid, then went inside the dark two-story box. Inside, she allowed Astrid entry before locking the door, then took a right into the kitchen where she unpacked the very few supplies she managed to get. "Don't touch anything, don't take anything, don't ask for anything... You're staying the one night and that's it." She explained coldly and bluntly to the redhead, not trusting her and playing bad cop to intimidate the woman into not doing anything stupid. Whether she may actually be allowed to stay longer depended on if she could be trusted, but it was doubted, and she in no way wanted to take the risk of bad things befalling her for being kind to a stranger, even if they actually worked out, she did not want to become attached.

After a scoff that she'd never be hurt because of her cockiness, they traveled in silence to the outskirts and then ran the rest of the way as it was beginning to get dark. The neighborhood they stopped at was cheaper and rundown before the apocalypse, but they went into a house that had a falling apart fence with a very smelly zombie dead and stuck to it. They went inside and Dark laid down the rules and began to unpack her small amount of supplies.

After he had pushed the empty bookshelf into place, all there is to it would be to fill them with books or rather heavier things to keep it from budging, preventing those filthy creatures to enter. Finally the door had been closed. The haven Otaku had prepped was once again safe. Or so he thought. Lance found himself in his toes as the blade of the male who entered the bookstore with his own free will, not minding the rules he had laid down to him had a blade held against him. Fearful wide eyes looked into the man whom he had expected not to cause him harm; at least not yet, another miscalculation from Lance’s deduction. However, his assumptions of him being an antagonistic fellow had just solidified it. If it were to be other people who sees him with such smile they would fall for his act instantly. It was flawless. Good thing for Lance he had been trained to see through such disguise. Only an insane person would dare to smile at his prey with a blade up against it as he introduced himself. ”E-El-Ellois” He needed to say his name. If not, who knew what would have happened to him. Why did he even open that door? Letting him here was dangerous. Yes, he seemed to be more capable than he is and going in numbers would be beneficial for others but he just cannot help but have doubts about this guy. He felt that as if he had just dug his own grave.

The man was laughing. Goodness what had he put himself into? Ugh! He can still feel himself shivering at the thought of him being with this man. He almost died back then, in the hands of survivor and not from those filthy creatures outside. His Manga was right; human beings are to be feared the most in this world. His was then enforced by the Ellois’ words. ”Th-There’s nothing to fix. I am not a co-coward!”… shouting to the top of his lungs, trying to say it more to himself than to the man, he needed to convinced himself that he was indeed not a afraid. He would be able to survive. He needed to see Jack. Picking up the hardbound books that he had placed neatly on the floor, he quickly returned them to their rightful place, back in the bookshelf. As soon as one of them had been placed in there the doorknob began to move. It was twisting to the right, to the left. Oh goodness no! They had already come this close? This is all Ellois’ fault. Before he was able to get his hands on the door and push it, keep it from opening it swung open. An orange fur ball was the first to make its appearance. Enough to make the boy to stumble and trip from his own feet, buried under the books he once carried and placed near the shelves. No longer able to contain his panic; again, Lance shouted to the top of his lungs. This time, however, it was not to defend himself. It was because he was just so scared that the creature who entered was one of those who have their body rotting, the undead. ”Waaaaaaah! They’re here. They’re here! This is your entire fault Ellois if you only helped me then…” Wait! The female’s flesh was not rotting like the others. But she still didn’t talk! That doesn’t justify the fact that she was already dead. Yes! It does! Zombies groan. They growl. They moan. But they do not talk. They are incapable of doing so. Besides, just like humans they can evolve so that they will be able to adopt into the environment they are in, to make sure that their species was to live. The horrid thoughts of his were enforced by the screams that were heard from the other side of the door. Apparently the other red head was not able to make it and was turned into one of them.

After the female pushed the shelf back to completely barricade the door, the scaredy-cat quickly resumed to the task he was to do, restock the shelves with books or possibly something else that are heavier than usual. For now, ignoring the male’s presence was the wise thing to do but apparently that was a difficult thing for him to do. Giving the male the look, an eyebrow raised, eyes rolled as he passed him. ”I don’t think a bookstore would have any of those.” He had it coming. If he was any nicer to him then maybe he would answer him a little kindly. Heading straight to the employee quarters he voiced out enough for the two to hear but not that loud to attract more of those creatures in. ”If anyone needs me I’ll be over here.” With the three of them here, with one couch it was obvious that they would be fighting for it. The three of them needed a place to sleep. He was the one who founded this haven. He would not sleep on the cold floor. No, definitely not. Better secure it now than to fight for it later.

Things to startle Lance happen one after the other. One, he found himself on his toes (literally) when he was faced with the intruder's blade against him as he introduced himself as Ellois. Two, an orange furball with a female came in to join them which he thought was a zombie who managed to squeeze herself into the door. Three, now that there are three of them in his haven he needed to fight for a place to sleep. No way he's giving his couch away to those two.

SPC. Huang, Mishiranu
- 3rd Brigade Combat Team - 1st Cavalry -

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

tab Why did he take point when he didn’t have the balls to just push forward? Right, last time he was posted to lead the column he had killed an innocent girl. He was terrified on the inside and didn’t want to take the risk to go forward, he didn’t want to lead them into a mistake like he had before. But he was letting a memory rule his life, now he was putting other people at risk because he wasn’t following Patton’s 3 principles of war that he had learned in Basic. Audacity, audacity, always audacity. What kind of a leader were you if you couldn’t take risks? A scared leader is a dangerous one and he couldn’t afford to be afraid or weak, it was only putting the people he wanted to protect in more danger than they already war. What was he doing? Stopping in the middle of a street while being surrounded, even if he didn’t want to admit it, he was scared and didn’t know what to do.

tab The sound of another gunshot ripped Mishiranu from his thoughts and allowed him to focus once more. Tightening his grip on the tomahawk in hand he let Katie get ahead of him once again and followed the two girls through the crowd of zombies. He felt a few hands make a grab for the bag of food slung over his right shoulder and lashed out with his leg to knock them away. He was blind to his right for the most part, not wanting to turn his entire body to get a look at the quickly degrading situation around him. Keeping his eyes forward he turned to follow Katie and Luciana, making sure not to trip over himself. Now running down the alleyway he followed Katie in as Luciana pushed the door open, he quickly and safely turned into the confines of the apartment lobby.

tab Setting down the dog food quickly yet safely as to make sure it didn’t rip, he turned around and helped Katie push a bookshelf in front of the door. It moved easily as he threw all his bodyweight against the object, “We’ll need more to brace it.” He said, keeping his body against the bookshelf making sure it stayed in place as a few faster zombies had caught up to them and began banging on the wooden object. Mishiranu dug his heels in and pushed, not willing to give an inch to the undead outside.

TL;DR

Mishiranu is terrified, memories of his kill in Afghanistan stop him from being an effective leader, but being brought out of his funk he follows Luciana and Katie to the apartment and sets the dog food down, he then helps Katie push a bookshelf against the doorway and uses his body to brace it against the zombies banging against it.

Yumiko was still breathing heavily as the bookcase was pulled into place and she leaned against it for a moment. In through the nose and out through the mouth as silently as possible. Everything smelled of death and decay, and the air wasn't too much cleaner in here. She absolutely hated sprinting and hoped that the zombies stayed slow forever. Jogging was not a problem at all, it was the extra effort that annoyed her. As her breathing slowed her mind played over the last thirty seconds as she had made it to the door. Flash. Pool of blood. Flash. One leg out the other one in. Flash. A scream.... Yumiko placed a hand to her forehead. She needed a drink and to not over think anything.

Pulling her hand away, she lifted her head and actually noticed the two other people in the room. One was in the process of removing his clothes. The first thought that Yumiko had, was if the two were lovers. World's gone to s**t, near death experience, throws of passion. It made sense. The second was a twinge of lust that her mind quickly shut the door on that emotion. If he starting sparkling she would put a stake in his heart faster than her body probably knew what it was doing. His behavior was odd, then again she wasn't one to talk either. Her eyes traveled to the other guy who was stalking the shelves with books to add weight. Secretly she hoped to herself that there was another exit, or they might be a bit screwed once the crazies on the outside figured out food was just a tad out of reach. Then he was gone, towards what looked to be the employee's room. If she was camping out here, that's where she would probably stay for the night as well.

Yumiko went back to her backpack and unzipped it. She made sure to do this with her back against the wall which was instinct and 101 in all survival situations. Nothing had broken inside the backpack and she sighed with relief as she pulled out the smallest bottle inside. After this one which would keep her company through the night there would only be three left. Which meant that she was going to have to raid a bar soon. Is this what her life had become? Raiding bars whenever she ran out? Thankfully the s**t there was now tab free, but still. Yumiko put the crowbar into the backpack. The axe was still hanging from a strap on the side, so she would be able to use it if the need aroused, and zipped it back up before throwing it over her shoulder.

She unscrewed the cap on the botle and put it in her pocket before taking a swig. It burned as it went down her throat, but that was a feeling that now made her happy. "Just take it all off David....be free." Yumiko laughed heartily as she made her way further into the bookstore. Would her reference to the statue sculpted by Michelangelo even make it through? Possibly. A library would have been better for her, but she supposed that this would have to do. Yumiko took another large gulp and sighed. Can't have everything, not even now. She slipped into the section that had the maps and ran a finger along the spines. If the sun set any faster she wouldn't be able to find what she was looking for. That is unless there was possibly some flashlights in the Employee's area. It might be worth checking out in a moment. For now she had a mission. She had to find a way to get there to her Ex's without using the subway. If she kept running around like today, there would be more chances that she would have to deal with running into unknown areas. She was so focused on this one goal her left hand around the bottle's top began to squeeze tighter. To find him alive would be...delightful.

Yumiko pulled a couple of the most relevant books onto the floor and scooped them into her right arm. She made her way back towards the employee's room checking her surroundings as she did so. It might be better for her to seclude herself away from the others, but one is lonely, two is company, and three is a crowd. The night would come, and she knew that sleep would escape her clutches again...

TL;DR: Yumiko has noticed who she is now hold up with. Damn cat is probably lurking in the shadows. She has already raided some books and is headed for the Employee's room. The couch is probably not safe. Hopes David took her advice.

The tall slightly faded door slammed shut with everyone inside the building, hands on the outside banging and clawing at the thick wood, it was difficult to keep it closed even when clicked into place; the pink haired female needed to press her body weight against the door to keep it in place so it could be locked, then moving out of the way as Katie and Mishi had pushed the bookshelf in front of the door. Moving to the couch with the table stacked on top, Luciana knelt over to begin to push with her strong legs, "I know!" She groaned at Mishi who was stating the obvious, the pressure and the situation in general causing her to become cranky and easily annoyed, especially due to his earlier mix up which nearly costed their lives. It only made her foot more stubborn about not leaving at night - before she was negotiating with herself to travel with them, but after this, it only proved that thinking about it was a mistake, even if she didn't want the young girl to get hurt, she had to think about herself, her pets!

With the door blocked by the several objects, it seeming sturdy enough to hold for at least a few hours, Luciana was left feeling uncomfortable about leaving the zombies there once more. She did not like them at her base like this; she gritted her teeth together as she stood back and listened to the sounds of moaning from the other side of the door, a bit muffled through the solid wood. The girl unluckily had a bit of an anger problem, which made it difficult for her to calm down; with her arms crossed, she tried to think of a way to lure the zombies away, hopefully something that would keep them away. Over the week, the woman had gathered things that create sounds to use as distractions in dangerous situations, but she wasn't sure she wanted to use them for this; she was, sadly, the type to hold onto things for when she most desperately needed them, which would get her killed if she didn't realize that was pointless if she didn't make it too that situation because of something "smaller".

Sucking in some air, she decided the sacrifice was worth it, as she did not want her barriers to be broken now; she gestured at the two to follow with her hand before she pressed on, going up three sets of stairs and stopped outside of her apartment. Though the two strangers seemed nice, she didn't want them alone with her stuff, "Wait here." She told them, slipping inside and closing the door, only opening the door open a crack so her animals wouldn't try to get out when she entered. Inside, she went to the right where the bedroom was, on the shelf two distractions - a set of firecrackers and a toybear for a baby that played a tune similar to a music box. The slightly pink colored bear had a bit of dried, darkened blood on it; it twisted Luciana's heart to get rid of it, so she grabbed the more noisy firecrackers and a lighter. Stepping back out with the others, carefully so the animals didn't slip out, she held up the firecrackers to the two, "I'm going to use these to try and lure away the zombies."

Her tone was a bit lighter now, calmer sounding, the sight of the bear weakening her anger; she led the two down the hallway to the front of the building, but still on the third floor, opening a random apartment to head over to the window. Opening it, she looked down at the group clustered at the door, there had to be at least 6 or 7! And... half of one that was getting a bit stomped on, dragging it's entrails and causing a bloody track right to her doorstep... Making a slightly disgusted sound, though building up some tolerance from such sights for having to fight these things, staring at them still caused her stomach to churn; after killing, her eyes would only look for as long as she needed to so she knew it was dead, any longer and she would feel sick. Lighting the firecrackers, she quickly threw it as hard as she can, with the help of the height she was at, it made it decently far. Waiting until the firecrackers went off, the zombies were quickly attracted to the new sound of tiny explosions, the group clustering around it until it went silent. The group stayed huddled there for a moment, before beginning to disperse in different directions, wandering around randomly once more.

Releasing a breath of relaxing air, Luciana quietly closed the window as slowly as she could, a little smile of pride on her face. "We're safe..." She mumbled, stepping back from the window, then looking at the two; she started to head out of the apartment before stopping in the hallway a few steps from her own. "So, where are you staying?" The pink haired girl turned to them and asked, if they would like to stay in her place, their own, or if they still planned to go out in that mess.

tab Blocking the door to the apartment building, Luciana did not like the situation of pounding zombies at her door all night, so she decides to use one of her distractions to lure the zombies away. It worked, using loud firecrackers which distracted them and caused them to forget their initial target and begin to wander around aimlessly. Feeling safe, Luciana walked out of the uninhabited apartment, which reminded her about Mishi's and Katie's situation, and asked them what their plan was, where did they want to sleep tonight, or did they still want to head out into danger.

{ The boy was terrified. No, this woman was like a giant beast he was talking to. Just the image of this woman slapping Raguel scared him, she wasn't certainly some pretty lady could mess with and get away with. Scratching the side of his arms, the male shook his head. It wasn't fun any more, it was hectic. Like some chore he had to do repetitively and didn't like since the beginning. The "beginning" wasn't that a posh way of just saying he was born and going to die at some point in his life? Raguel held out his hand, it was like he was touching snow. He moved closer to the female, his breath still icily warm. His few forms of warmth keeping him neutral. No, Raguel wasn't particularly concerned about his well being. However, the young male was concerned how dark it was. It seemed like it was evening now. Raguel noticed the groans, shaking he instantly jolted; No, no, no! Lets not focus on that for now. We gotta go. Now. Its beyond late! Raguel cried. The supplies were going to diminish at this rate. Before the male could react, his tiny voice attracted more groans. Preparing his dagger, he didn't want to find alongside the others so soon. As a trio, they were to annihilate any of their kind. There was very few humans left, protecting the rest of their kind wasn't an easy task. Didn't that sound running away more heroic? Yeah, yeah. Raguel just had to write that down now. He was Superman, no he was like some holy divine being.

Raguel thought for a minute, perhaps "My name isn't Magenta. It's Raguel, by the way. Raguel Montreal" suited him very well. Another "No, I'm a male. I think I am anyway" along the way to any strangers. Like a song, it would be sang to anyone passing by, causing their ears to bleed. Mmmm, that sounded way too messy. Grinning due to the cheesiness, he couldn't help it. Just the way they warned him, worried constantly with his bad habits. It was amazing. Raguel bit his lip,
Weird, isn't it? It's like a lot of people don't think I look like a male for some reason. I guess a male can't good look in a dress and nail polish now? he chuckled, teasing her. Still mildly amused by the concern by the two, Raguel's eyes shuttered as he moisturised his eyes. Ugh, people like these guys gave him the feels. Sighing, he had to admit it at some point; I'll be careful. But I have.. Some surprises up my sleeve. I wouldn't be surprised if you guys gave me false names either. Anyway, I'll be careful.. Raguel sighed, no it wasn't okay. It wasn't near okay. Raguel didn't know what okay meant. It just meant something and it wasn't registered in his brain.

Sighing, the male removed the dagger at once. It wasn't exactly safe for him to do it, but he wouldn't exactly call it dangerous. He was suddenly hungry too, mmm. There was a lot of issues regarding.. His appetite. It was hard to describe it. Raguel wasn't the person anyone would expect.. To act like anything like he does in general. Analysing the others, it became surreal. Jaime and Jack. They were alike, they were really different from Raguel. Was everyone like this or was it just him that was different? Kneeling, the male stroked the cute pet,
S-Sorry for over reacting earlier, it must have been me, or did any one else hear groans? Raguel laughed, an awkward-kind of cough. The kind he did when he was afraid and awkward at the same time. It was out of character for him to do that, in this situation particularly. Another blonde, huh? Raguel hadn't been asked about a person they were looking for, expect when Jack asked about someone. But Raguel hasn't met anyone else other than two and miss Snotty Redhead. Yawning, the male blinked; No, I've not really seen a lot of people around here, to be honest. What about you Jack? I've only met you two and Miss Snottypants, not seen anyone other than my handsome face. And that's more than enough "looking for Mr Right" you'll get! Raguel teased, chuckling to himself as he gave the dog a nice back rub. Raguel was fond of pets, particularly dogs. They were interesting to some degree anyway. And fantasy companions they were too!
                                      。」

"Call my name just as loud as you can, I will adore so,
more so, I really wanna scream."

The haughty response Astrid received was an expected one. She had figured Dark wasn't going to be hurt and will probably survive longer than the majority of those that have managed to live so far. As the pair fell silent with no other conversation necessary, the gunshots in the distance seemed to stop, but the area still seemed clear of zombies, even without a distraction in another location. Stealing a glance at the darkening sky, she hoped they would arrive soon as things would only get more precarious.

When Dark broke into a run, Astrid did the same, keeping pace with the woman and keeping her position slightly behind her. She wouldn't be able to hold the pace for very long, not having nearly as much stamina as Dark, but she did her best while hoping it wouldn't take long to arrive. Her footfalls were a bit heavier with the increased pace, but the pair still made little noise as they made their way through the cheapening neighborhoods. It seemed a little safer here, despite the rundown and messy appearances of the houses, but there would less zombies roaming around in comparison to the numbers in the heart of the city. When they finally arrived at their desired destination, the smell was overwhelming and Astrid's soft faced scrunched up in disgust at the decaying zombie impaled on the fence. While she had no problem with gore, the revolting sight of entrails oozing out of the zombie giving her no issue, the smell was sickening. As a result, she grabbed the collar of her t-shirt and pulled it up to cover her nose as they passed through the broken down fence. She supposed that the smell would deter any passing zombies away from the place, since the stench of the rotten and decaying would cover up their own. That was all well and good, but it sure was nasty. After Dark unlocked the entrance to the tiny residence, she followed the woman quickly and, once inside, the smell lessened so she let go of her shirt and let it fall back in its proper place.

The inside was small and dark, which was expected, and Astrid lingered near the doorway as Dark went about her business in the kitchen, panting slightly from the run moments before. She wasn't one to go ahead and make herself comfortable in someone else's home - she never liked to impose - but she was still glad for the shelter against the dangers outside. If Dark really wanted her gone the next day, that was perfectly fine. Her attempt at intimidating Astrid failed; she wasn't the kind of person to steal or touch another's property anyway, regardless of the situation. It was obvious Dark was reluctant to trust her, but she really didn't have anything to worry about.
"Of course," she shrugged. If the two needed to part for the second time after the night's end, she had another safe location to go to anyway.

Placing her bat to hold it between her legs, she yawned and stretched her arms above her head, cracking her shoulders and elbows as she did, letting a soft sigh escape her lips. While it was still early in the night, she felt tired, the day's exertions having worn her out. She didn't know what the sleeping situation would be like, since neither woman completely trusted the other. Maybe Dark wouldn't even want to sleep around her, which seemed plausible after her threats.

Emotion: Tired

Company: Dark

Whereabouts: Dark's base

{TL;DR}
Astrid showed no surprised over Dark's cocky response since that reaction to the previous question was expected. As the night progressed, the two broke into a run and she keeps up with Dark as best as she can, despite how quickly her stamina runs out. They manage the make it to Dark's base without any issue, located in a cheap, rundown neighborhood. They are greeted by a zombie impaled on Dark's broken fence. While the gore doesn't bother Astrid, the smell certainly does, so she lifts up her shirt to cover her nose as they pass by to enter the house. Once inside, she lowers the garment and remains near the doorway, not wanting to impose too much on Dark naturally, even without her intimidation attempts. Letting go of her bat to hold it between her legs, Astrid stretched her arms above her head as her bones crack, and lets out a sigh. She then wonders briefly about what the sleeping situation would be like - having noticed how tired she was after all day - since neither one of them trusts the other very much.

She liked to think that she did something to help move it, but knew she really hadn't. Mishi mentioned they'd need more and Luciana quickly replied, seeming a little frustrated. Katie thought nothing of it though, thinking that she was only still in the moment. Noticing Luciana going to push the couch, Katie quickly rushed to her aid, throwing all of the little body weight she had into it. Finally, the door seemed secure enough, however, the groans continued from the other side. Katie felt more at ease now, the nervous tremble in her uneasy hands beginning to settle somewhat.

The young blonde remained silent as she watched Luciana begin to ascend the stairs. She silently followed after her without question. She then politely did as the woman had asked and remained still outside of the apartment. Luciana now out of sight, Katie turned her head towards Mishi, giving him a smile. "Are you alright?" She inquired, trying to pass the time a little and draw her mind away from the shaky events that had just occurred. It didn't take long for the pink-haired woman to emerge from the apartment, firecrackers and a teddy bear in hand. She then informed them that she would be attempting to lure the zombies away. Katie couldn't help but realize how smart of an idea it was and how she would've never thought of doing that. It was yet another skill that she would have to keep in the back of her head.... just in case.

Katie followed behind Luciana once more, not even questioning where they might be being lead too. No, she trusted this woman, even if it might be stupid to do so. She trusted both of them. Her eyes followed Luciana's movements, watching her open the window, light the firecrackers, and then throw them out. The idea worked, the zombies left the door and made their way to the noise. They then eventually scattered after the sounds stopped.

Once again, Katie fell in line behind Luciana, following her back out to the hallway. Her feet stopped the same time as the woman, thinking over the question she had just been asked. "Well... I..." It was dark outside now. Not as dark as it would be later, but dark. Katie knew that logically, it was stupid to go out. However, she knew Jaime well. Either Jaime was stuck somewhere, which Katie thought unlikely. No, her big sister was capable of anything. That or she had already been back and saw that Katie wasn't there. Hopefully, she would stay put, but with Jaime's rash ways that option was unlikely. Just as unlikely as it would be to find Jaime in this huge city. She couldn't live with herself if she left it at that though. "I'd ought to rest for a bit, then I suppose I'll head out." The thought of going back out sent chills up her spine, but she had to face that fear for the sake of finding her sister. Jaime wouldn't be scared.

I'm located Apartment Building I'm with Mishi and Luci I'm Wearing [X]

She then follows Luciana and remains polite until she is asked where she'll be staying. Katie hesitantly thinks before informing them that she will rest a while then head back out.

` Obviously his enjoyment was a 'testimony' in this trial. The young male then noticed the red head who ha appeared minutes before them, oh? It was his fault now? The female had helped, now surely it wasn't so bad. Ellois was about to undo his belt when the female arrived, pausing he already knew what atmosphere he had given off to her. Any guy with muscular body, undressing in the dark would surely attract every single girl. The young male blinked, it was his fault? And supposedly, this boy had been sleeping on he floor with no sofa or chairs present in their presence? How ridiculous, this male was a considerably awful liar. Tugging his shirt like a cape as he swung it across his shoulder using his right hand, the male grinned. Oh, wasn't this fun. Some girl who had some form of attraction to him and then this kid who was a terrible comedian. Gritting his teeth, the young man let out a growl, So you're telling me there is no sofa or couch in a book store. You know if there was, it'd be the most dangerous place right now, oh. But I assume you already know that... Ellois continued, walking back and forth, like a clock running out of time. Ellios wasn't a saint, humans weren't made for that design. The kind of mechanism to create such a being - a deity, it didn't exist. Not to Ellois at least in particular. Rubbing his forehead, the male was rather dismissed by the fact this kid was fretting over dead corpses. Frankly, they were mere corpses. If it wasn't for this kid attempting to act highly, Ellois would have killed him on the spot. He didn't need weaklings. Clutching his weapon, the male growled, If you aren't weak like you say you are, corpses should be nothing. I'll put that strength of yours to the test... Ellois growled, he was insane. Although, Ellois was never particularly sane. Ellois didn't consider anything other than this child was a nuisance to him and perhaps everyone he had met within this time. But, if Ellois was to be blunt, he wasn't too fond of children. The young male was far too young to dwell into that topic, especially as he was still rather emotional regarding Velvet. It was emotional, yet some how pleasing.

                                    Putting a lot of thought into it, the male glanced. He wasn't much of a talker. Was Velvet like that too? It made him curious, she was hard to imagine - her appearance, personality. How long had it been since he had stroked her hair? Touched her soft skin, "the cold stars of a clay heart" myths and sang to her prickled ears? It was surreal, but he was not to think of her so soon. It would soon be her seventh birthday, when that were to turn, it would mark the 3rd year since her mother's death. Was he cruel to leave her behind? Back in Paris, Ellois considered Velvet safe until the infection had spread. Were she alive, it would remain unknown. The young male calmed down, putting his weapon to aside. Perhaps he could sleep on the floor. Turning to the red head, he decided to greet her. Ignoring her would result in the repetition of his beloved Aisha's death, if that were to happen to a stranger he did not know... Velvet would surely be displeased with the man. The best Ellois could do was to search for Velvet's young friend, Raguel Montreal who would be among the many Americans. The French beast would surely encounter the German shepherd when it was to come. Until then, Ellois was to behave;
I am Ellois. Ellois Noire. And you are? the male asked the red head, before she daunted off. Despite her vivid entrance and exit, it was clear she was slighttly older than Ellois. Her face was somewhat more mature than his and signified resemblance to a female he had met a few years ago. Comparing the two would be an issue for both of them if they were to know.. But, she appeared to be in her mid-twenties, about 24 or 25. Ellois however, had no interest in females of the alike.

TDLR: Ellois is angered, as it is explained his relationship with Raguel, despite being angered, the male's rage calms down. He then asks the female's name before she makes her exit. Ellois remains silent most of the conversation, however he points out the fact it is unlikely that there will not be a chair or sofa where the young boy would sleep or sit when reading books within the bookstore. His bigger concern seems to be regarding Velvet's whereabouts, however it is unknown yet to others who "Velvet" is.

The sky seemed to have become darker and the groans become louder. Just like the two she was starting to grow uncomfortable standing in the middle out in the streets attracting those undead closer to them. They were not that loud but they seemed to be more active at night. If only they were to stay inside the grocery store then they would be safer. Then again the push carts used as a barricade the doors were not really something one can say safe. As she was to inform her about their destination Jaime had already brought out a picture. Jacqueline took a few steps closer to get a better look and shook her head. ”No, sorry. Haven’t seen her yet but perhaps you’ve seen him?’ She asked showing her the picture of her twin brother Lancelot. Magenta brushed it off a while ago but she could not careless that only meant that he didn’t know of his existence. Hopefully, this blonde does.

Now that the two seemingly had become friends, or not, Jacqueline then focus on the more important thing at hand, which is for them to look for a place to stay for the night. ”Well, we were supposed to go to a hotel…” She said nonchalantly trying to repeat Magenta’s words. ”…but anything that would look safe to stay in for the night would be nice right about now since they seemed to have gathered pretty much over there.” She said as she pointed over to the hoard of zombies that is already coming over their way as she took out her sword from its scabbard. By the sound of it looks like they have a whole army to deal with if they were to stay here in the open for too long.

                                                                          Location: City Streets
Company: Magenta Bronze; Jaime with her dog.
TL;DR: Jacqueline haven't seen the little blonde girl that was in the picture but she hoped that Jaime was able to see Lance. She then told her that they were supposed to go to a hotel just to mock Magenta and suggested for them to get a move on since an army of zombies is coming over to feast on them.
