- With a nod Rosabella turned to look at the group assembled before them. They were no fools, they knew why they were there, and they knew to show up on time. Unlike a select few that it seemed Rosa had foolishly risen up in the ranks. She'd have to be more careful with who she promoted if they weren't going to be where they needed to be when they were suppose to. She didn't just need loyalty, she needed capability. And apparently she had neither, at least in a certain person's case.
There was little reason to wait, but as Rosabella began to start Darcia walked into the room. Rosabella turned calmly and looked at the girl. "So, you decided to grace us with your presence." The calm voice greeted her, disregarding the woman's apology. There was almost no telling that Rosa was angry, in fact Rosa knew that her sister was the only one who knew - for the moment at least. She simply sounded condescending. "I'm beginning to wonder, Darcia, just where your loyalties lie." In a graceful move she pulled a hand gun out of her waistband and pointed it at Darcia's head. "Would you mind telling me just how the Moretti's got past the security you swore would keep them out?" She circled around the girl, a lioness on the prowl.
The transition from her father to Rosabella had been a rough one. While Rosa had put on a face in high school, it had done nothing to help when she had come home after college. The men under her father had been loyal to the family, but that had never meant that they were willing to follow a young girl who had often seemed more into what shade of lipstick to wear than stealing weapons and selling drugs. Sure as a child she had settled down in the meetings, listening with rapt attention, but none of them had seen how sharp she was, how eager for success, how quickly she could put a problem to rest. When she had come back, full of bloodlust as a woman who not only was model worthy but who could aim and fire a gun with little hesitation and had a plan of attack in a moment's notice, none of the men had known what to do. Rosa was no stranger to the business she had found herself in, her father had never shied away from showing the harsh realities of it to his daughters. Rosa had always known how to defend herself, how to take care of herself, and others, but she had hid it when necessary, and now showed it as it was needed.
"Perhaps you are no longer useful, eh?" The leader's eyebrows rose slightly as she watched her prey carefully. She leaned forward and whispered in the woman's ear where no one could hear, "One more mess like this one and even Aless won't be able to save you." Out of the corner of her eye the door opened admitting yet another late member, with out batting an eyelash Rosa kept her gun steady on Darcia. "Nice of you to join us Serafin. Perhaps you encountered problems on your way here too? Or do you simply need to purchase a watch?" She turned her attention back to the girl at the end of her gun. "You're going to fix the security breach. Tonight." Her voice held a tone that she had trained her men to know brooked no argument. She idlely pointed her gun at the hit man gesturing he join Darcia. "Your going to watch her. She doesn't leave until it's done. And you as well." She told one of her men, Arnie 'Batter', "I want the guards doubled in case the Moretti's start to get a big head because of last night. The rest of you are going to go with Aless and myself and exact our revenge." Rosabella tucked the gun away again. She turned and almost sweetly asked her little sister, "Aless, anything you would like to add?" They both knew that Rosa didn't actually mean the question, it was simply a façade.
