The Heartless Manor is an old Victorian style manor that sits on the edge of Barton town. It has a weary, beaten path that runs through thick forest before arriving at the beach-side stay.

The Manor is known for being a safe place for travelers, and also for the curious shadow-beings called heartless which take residence there. It has been a long standing establishment since the Go-Gaia days and is an exciting blend of all sorts of different creatures.

Main Arc: Rhys is a half-demon who was hired to hunt down an old chalice. The woman he took it from gave her life trying to protect it - which lead Rhys to wonder what is so special about this old chalice? He decided to spend some time at The Heartless Manor to figure out exactly what this chalice is before returning it to those that hired him.

Sub-Plots: Yuni is a teenage nekojinn with a demon called Nytmaer locked away inside - or, at least, she was. She recently washed up on shore completely void of her previous cat-characteristics, now looking quite human and totally void of any sign of Nytmaer. What's more, she has lost her memory as to what happened. All we know is that some sort of experimentation was done on her with medical precision, and when she eventually remembers, it'll be one hell of a story.

The newest drug to hit Barton is called Furia, and it's wreaking havoc on the town. Where is the drug coming from, and who keeps pushing the substance? Local elf-turned-cop Doug is tracking down the source with sidekick reporter Natalie.

I wrote up a bio for Bentley (a.k.a Jayke), my character, whose yours will be getting involved with if you join.

Bentley (originally named "Jayke" ) is the original vampire-hybrid (stronger, faster, and more powerful as a result of consuming kitsune blood). He is 5'11'' with light brown hair and blue eyes (that turn pitch black when he's fully in vamp mode) that contrast his pale skin. He speaks with a deep voice and country drawl, indicating his southern origin. As a vampire and warrior, he has a masculine and well-built body. He can be described as sadistic, competitive, careless, paranoid, and impulsive. He has little to no regard for human life in general, although he has been shown to be protective of his family members. When he became a vampire hybrid, all of his emotions were heightened and he became very short-tempered. Years of rejection from his family and humiliation caused him to leave and find his own vampire nest. As of result of this pain, Bentley shut off his humanity, killing any who crossed his path. Vengeful and power-hungry, he will stop at nothing to achieve his ends and remove those who stand in his way. He places usefulness above pleasure and will keep people alive or bend their will as it suits his needs. More than anything, betrayal is the number one sin a person can commit against him. Bentley obsesses over revenge for those who betray or cross him. However, Bentley’s hunger for power actually hides a deep fear of being alone which stems from how his family treated him.

He is known to make deals with others in exchange for power or something he desires, and holds a sense of honor that requires him to keep his word (although he will look for loopholes in deals). he has a history at the Heartless Manor, which was his home originally centuries before it became an Inn for travelers. He has a longer history with the co-owner of the Manor, Frayda, whose blood he fed on during transition that turned him into a hybrid. Keeping her captive due to the magical and addictive properties of his blood, Fray stayed with his nest for many years, treated like a goddess, but a blood-slave nonetheless used to make more hybrid vamps. She escaped with the aid of her lover, Ide, who Bentley caught and beheaded for betraying him. He doesn’t pass up a show of power, enforcing the rules that he lives by (and generally advocate for his own self-preservation). He is intelligent, calculating, and always two-steps ahead of his enemies (which there are many). He holds an affinity for whiskey and bourbon, as it helps him cope with his losses and often complicated relationships. Despite being one of the world’s most powerful immortal beings, he does possess fear—specifically for the white oak stake, which is the only physical weapon that can permanently kill him. Being stabbed with a regular wooden stake will injure him, along with wooden bullets, silver, holy water, and vervain, but only temporarily.

Abilities:
Super agility - Being the Original Hybrid, Bentley possesses much more superhuman stamina, flexibility, reflexes, agility and dexterity than any other vampires. He can run, move, climb, and jump incredibly fast and well, skills that improved over time.
Super strength - Bentley's endurance and muscle mass is enhanced, making him very strong and able to move, lift, or destroy large objects.
Super speed - In addition to strength and agility, Bentley is also very fast... He can run for miles more than the average being at a speed so fast that the untrained eye cannot see him.
Mind compulsion - Bentley can compel humans, vampires, and other supernatural beings by using mind control to make them do his bidding. His compulsion does not work on witches or werewolves, though, and some supernatural hunters.
Immortality - Bentley does not physically age. He is immune to all forms of illnesses, toxins or poisons. He does not need to eat, drink or breathe. He has eternal youthful beauty with perfect features and flawless smooth skin. He also possesses an almost eidetic memory and cunninng intelligence.
Emotional Control - He has limited degree of control over his own emotions, allowing him to switch off his humanity, making killing easier.
Heightened senses - Bentley has a far more enhanced sense of hearing, sight and smell that far exceeds those of humans.
Day-light ring - Bentley possess a ring on his left hand that was enchanted by a witch, allowing him to walk in the daytime without being harmed by sunlight.
