Aske likes jewelry all right. Like I imagine him having...work jewelry. If that makes any sense. The sorts of jewelry where he can store power, or use the jewels for a specific purpose, but Aske says Kestrel would be better off taking that jewelry and giving it to Crystal. He also says he'd like to be paid in effort, time, and progress. /:

...Also pretty sure that Kestrel is going to get the same talk Fallen's beau is going to get the first time Aske meets Kestrel. Or some version of it. OTL Aske does not want to see Crystal hurt like that again. Aske doesn't want to see anyone hurt like that again. It was awful. He says.
