Clomp: Well, Okita was very disappointing, actually. D: I liked his route least so far. His personality got surprisingly bland halfway through. I liked his ending better than Saito's though.

Yeah. I guess. I think what really threw me was that his story is REALLY separate from the others so far. They all cross somewhat, but... meh. A villain that is only hinted at is a part of his route, and nasty things happen to Chizuru that doesn't in the others so far... I did like the parallel between Kaoru ( said villain ) and Chizuru, and I liked that Okita's TB issue never went away, but still. Least favorite so far.

Haha, then I will just have to keep talking about it. I'm doing Hijikata's route now, apparently, he's the cannon romance for Chizuru. So far he's okay. It's been fun making him drop his walls. And you see Heisuke somewhat more than I have in a couple other routes. Heisuke is like...the one you go ask questions of after a certain point. OTL

...Nah. What will probably happen is it will die, and then we'll take us all to another thread. o u o And probably continue on from the point we stopped at. OTL

Definitely going to encourage it. And yeah, I find that to be true too.He's not the one I would have suspected to be the canon one though. I would have guessed either Saito or Okita to be canon. I definitely would not have guessed Heisuke or Harada though, Kazama...he might have been, if we were going to go with falling in love with the villain. I guess Hijikata fits well enough too though.

And now I am watching an episode of this anime. I am laughing.

That hilarious. The animation isn't very good, but it's...hilarious, but I specifically picked a Heisuke episode...poor him. He's not doing anything very well here.

They all have a good ending, but the others all have bad endings too, though they are just usually endings where you/Chizuru dies. The bad ending with Okita wasn't like that though, only he died. That was sadder.

It is hilarious. I'm in the second half of the episode and Heisuke has just hunted Hijikata down and is all like, "You shouldn't let Chizuru do this! D< I mean...Chizuru is so beautiful... emotion_kirakira and then she has to serve sake to those thugs! D<" hahahahaha. I'm just sitting here like... Yes, Shinji, we know how much you disapprove of her being the barmaid, because that's what it reminded me of. OTL

It's even sadder because he says ( as he's dying ) that he's sorry, and that hearing Chizuru say she loved him actually made him want to live. ( He was sort of looking for a good place to die before. ) But eh, when it's an ending where just Chizuru or they both die, I'm not really sad.

Oh, I feel so sorry for Heisuke. Shinpachi and Harada were so mean to him. OTL He was not the only one throwing snowballs! Why is he the only one that gets slapped? D:

I'm glad you do, but I don't think he's a good character by himself. But I do think his interaction with Maaya will be better this time. <3
