I'm not exactly new to Gaia *cough* been around for at the very least 6 years. However, I've been off and on, and have previously been more focused on playing the games, and stuff with my brother.
Now I've been practicing art religiously for the past year, and I think I'm just about ready to make art for others (I hope).
So for practice purposes, and out of the kindness of my heart I'm hereby opening up my services for free!
Interested?
Here's a link to my DA gallery so you can see if you'd like me to draw something for you or not:

I do digital art, traditional art, and animations (though I'm pretty new to animating).
Rules:
- Refrain from asking for anything vulgar. Skimpy outfits is ok, but I won't draw porn.
- I don't do furries, but don't be afraid to ask. I wouldn't mind giving it a shot, just be warned it might not be so great.
- Please don't ask me to do animations. I'd love to get the practice in, but it takes up way too much time.
- Please don't ask me to make colored traditional art. I'd be happy to make greyscale, or lineart traditional art, but colored pencils are very expensive. I'd have to ask for money in return, but as this is all supposed to be free, I can't do colored traditional art.
That being said, colored digital art is fine.
- More of a suggestion; please keep the art relatively simple (1 or 2 characters, simple/without backgrounds). Be courteous of my time, and others who may want to take advantage of my free time, and abilities.
- Don't be upset if I watermark the art I make for you. I promise I won't make it distracting. I'll be classy with them if I decide to add them.
- You have my permission to post the art anywhere you'd like, it's free, and it's yours.
How to ask me for art:
- Describe your character in detail. Eye colors, hair color + length + style, gender (duh), personality, body type, special marks/scars/tattoos/etc, skin color (race if you wanna use that terms). Basically anything you can think of.
- Then you can ask for a style you'd like me to draw it in (anime, western, anything in
between. I'll attempt to replicate it).
- Preference what medium you'd like. Traditional (I don't do traditional paintings), or digital.
- Describe what pose, and view (close up/face, medium view, full view) you'd like your
character to be in. This isn't required, but if you don't preference these it's no big deal.
I'll attempt to fit these aspects of the art to the character's personality.
- Alternatively, you could do your own art (no matter how crude it is, I won't make fun of you, promise), then pm it to me, and I'll recreate it for you. This will make things easier on me, because less reading.
- If you want me to do fanart for you, then pm me a picture/add a link in the thread with the character, then preference what action/pose/view you'd like.
Don't be afraid to ask for fanart. I won't mind doing it, no matter what it is - as long as it acknowledges the rules.
When you receive your art I'd love to hear any critique/complaint/praise you have. Don't be afraid to boost my ego, or rip apart my sorry attempt at art. Just because it's free doesn't mean you have to like it. I won't think you're a horrible person just because you have a complaint.
I'll try to do art for everyone who wants it in a timely manner.
Closed until further notice.
I have a lot of catching up to do, and the more I submit, the more people notice the thread, the more people ask for art. It's not a bad thing, but I need time to catch up, and rest.
I wanna continue to put as much effort as I can into every drawing I do, but the more people ask the more I feel overwhelmed. This is the first time I'm doing art for others instead of just myself, so I'm not used to it. That's fine however, because that's one of the main purposes why I'm doing this.
If you want me to draw something for you, please wait until I reopen the thread.
