does anyone here think that Mephisto would be a better choice for the new US President than Mitt Romney?

not to mention Romney is kind of a bad choice period, at least from my perspective. I'm just glad it looks like we're getting 4 more years of Obama here in the US, altho my oldest niece has expressed sadness over her choice losing. ("sorry, Cthulhu, maybe in another four years the stars will be right.")

but, yeah, really, Mephisto would be preferable to Romney. Romney seems a bit incompetent and can't even keep his own facts straight. Mephisto may be a bit devious, but considering what he is that's to be expected, and he's far more competent. and I know Romney isn't looking out for people like me, whereas there's looking to be a real possibility that Mephisto may truly be on the good side.

actually, there were many times in older Norse mythology when Loki was actually a nicer guy than Odin. it was only after the prose Edda came out and the Norse mythology got retold with a Christian spin to it that Loki became vilified to the level most think of him as today. my older brother and sister-in-law could probably go far more in depth on it than me, being as they're Asatru and have done a lot of research into older versions of the Norse mythos, but I know enough to safely say that Loki, while a trickster, could be a cooler dude than Odin, who most view as a good guy.

also, Mephisto also says he was known as Raven, who while a more vindictive trickster than other Native American tricksters (like Coyote and Hare) only handed people their a** when they did something to deserve it and could be an epically cool dude since as far as tricksters go he could be one of the more competent ones, at least among the Native American trickster lore. when Coyote got helpful things could unexpectedly explode in your face even if you did everything right, with Raven it only exploded in your face if you messed something up.

Honestly, to me, Mephisto is still a bit too murky to me. Just a gut feeling, I guess. Or maybe it's 'cause I can't tell what he's thinking. But that's his character.
Not that Romney isn't murky. Actually, anyone with that much influence is murky to me.

if you're going on further reasoning to trust/distrust Mephisto you have the fact his true name is Samael to go by. in the actual Judeochristian mythology Samael wasn't actually a demon or even a fallen angel, he was a full angel of God, altho he pretty much could be said to represent the "necessary evils" and was one of the angels that was associated with the title of satan (with the root of that being a word which in connotation is similar to prosecutor and indicating an angel whose job was to basically test humanity at God's behest, not to be confused with THE Satan). still not an obviously 100% good guy, but definitely not an all out bad guy either and potentially in it for the greater good even if it meant occasionally being shady or a jerk.

Omg, I'm happy. Amaimon's voice suits him. I was so worried but now I don't have to worry anymore. <3 I love it. Omg. I'll go back and watch the rest of the dubbed episodes later that I missed. I haven't watched since episode 2 or 3 so I'm a bit behind, and I just jumped ahead to Amaimon's appearance in episode 5 to hear his voice. A friend and I both agree that his English voice sounds a lot like his Japanese voice.

I look forward to seeing the rest of the episodes once I catch up.

it does look VERY fishy. and definitely not what they claim it was, regardless of if they just applied filters to it or traced it. and it's DEFINITELY a lot better quality than the rest of their gallery. that's why when I saved the comparison gif I named it RagingBullshit.gif.
