In honor of Georgiana Ross Webb
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Georgiana Ross Webb of Las Cruces on Monday, May 9, 2011 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center with her husband and sister at her bedside. She was born December 12, 1953 in Las Cruces to George H. Ross and Roylene Stevens Ross. Georgiana was a devoted wife and mother but found joy and purpose as a volunteer treasurer for University Hills PTO, Ruth Laws #55 Rainbow assembly, and Boy Scout Troop 173. Georgiana graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1971 and from the Bauder Fashion College in Arlington, Texas. She retired from White Sands Federal Credit Union after 18 years to become a full time mother. During her time at the Credit Union she worked her way up from teller to the computer department and then to the head of the accounting department. She found great pleasure interacting with the many friends she made on Café Mom and Farmville. Georgiana was a member of Las Cruces #20, Order of Eastern Star, and Order Of The Amaranth. Those left to mourn her passing include her husband, Larry Tad Webb, two sons, Steven G. Ross and wife Emma of Cicero, Indiana, and Billy Neil Webb of the home; two daughters, Christy Dawn Howell of Phoenix, Arizona, and Ivory Michelle Webb of the home. Other survivors include her sister Karen Ross and nephew Devin of Las Cruces, three grandchildren, Sabina and Tyler Kosnick, and Isabela Bencomo of Las Cruces. Also mourning her passing are her many relatives and friends that had the privilege to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents.
