Personality: Evelyn is a patient woman, one prone to assessing situations and taking precautions before acting, like such she is not quick to judge a person based on what others may say of them but prefers to witness their character for herself. Once easily to befriend since the death of her beloved sister her spirit has become tarnished. Closing her heart off to close bonds to avoid further pain she seems more standoffish than her true personality should reflect.
Personal History:
Evelyn had a fairly normal childhood alongside her sister Lenora, younger by only one year. The two were aways great friends, their personalities complementing each other instead of the typical sibling clashing. Lenora was the rougher more tomboyish of the two, the one to get the girls into scrapes while Evelyn used her charm and friendly nature to talk them out of it again.
It wasn't until Evelyn was nine that the sisters realized something odd about the older of them. The youngsters were playing a game of hide and go seek in their family home and during Ev's turn to be 'it' she tripped on her shoelace tumbling hard down the homes tall staircase. Hearing the noise Lenora abandoned her hiding spot, running forward to find her sister at the bottom of the stairs, a long scrap down her leg and tears in her eyes. Unsure what to do the younger sister tried her best to console Evelyn, but just as she was about to run for her parents the wound on Evelyn's leg began to close up. Shocked the two watched as the skin once marred by a painful looking scrape healed over brand new. Wiping the tears from her eyes Evelyn told her sister, shocked the it didn't hurt any more. Blinking down at her older sister Lenora sat down beside her in a huff and exclaimed. "I knew you were magic. You were the only one in class last year not to catch the flu even when I had it!" and then began to chuckle.
They kept Evelyn's secret between the two of them, not really knowing its full extent until the two entered college. As roommates now they still remained just as close as they had in childhood. Meeting at the bus stop they began their short walk home one night as a man appeared from a darkened alleyway. They were to busy chatting to really see him until he made a grab for Evelyn's bag, lurching it off her shoulder with such force it knocked her to the ground. Lenora was to quick though, reacting on instinct she caught the purse and tugged back yelling loudly at the man. It was over in seconds. The man, homeless and desperate pulled a knife from out of no where and plunged it directly into Lenora's stomach. Seeing the blade Evelyn screamed, but it was the moment it pierced her sister that something within her awakened and with it the power that was dormant in her for so long burst forward with such strength that it blast the mugger back and formed a shield around her sisters prone from. Raising one hand she clutched at the pendant she wore, a mysterious gift she'd received on her birthday with the other and called forth the words her heart commanded.
Transformed the new senshi stepped through the barrier and knelt beside her sister. Looking down at the wound she placed her hand over it as if to stop the bleeding as her sister breathed heavily, pain overtaking her features. This was not fair! It wasn't her bag the man had tried to steal, it wasn't her who could somehow heal herself! It shouldn't have been her to suffer this pain. The with desperation to save Lenora the gem on the senshi's tiara began to glow and a strange pulling sensation grew from where her hand was placed on the wound.
Ignoring the sting in her own stomach Evelyn gasped as Lenora's wound began to close up, the colour returning to her face and in moments it was as if it had never happened. Stunned and amazed Lenora renewed lunged into her sisters arms embracing her, tears stinging her eyes. Through all the years of possessing the strange gift it was this moment she truly valued it.
Days after the event a knock on the door came and upon answering Evelyn was met with the tall form of a woman. Introducing herself as Setsuna she explained why she had come, and after a lengthy discussion over a pot of tea she told her of her duties. Duties that would not begin for many years yet.
At first the prospect of it all frightened her, to be told her life could very well be eternal carrying her through the generations. It was overwhelming. But as always Lenora was there to help her accept her destiny, even if that destiny would not always include her.
It is because of that love and support that not a day goes by that Evelyn doesn't miss her. Aging as a normal human would Lenora passed away at 98 after a long and fulfilled life, never far from her sister. Try as she might though the loss still effected Evelyn. Since Lenora's death it is as if her soul is tarnished. Missing a piece of herself she is unable to find without her sisters guidance.
Three years after Lenora's death Evelyn went to meet with Queen Lady Serenity, but as if she had always known she would come the gracious queen welcomed her, offering her a place on her court as a future guardian of her beloved daughter. Evelyn eventually became somewhat of a caretaker to the young princess. Overseeing her while the King and Queen took care of important businesses, and aiding her in learning, Princess Crystalline Serenity is of the few that has been able to worm her way into her heart, finding her in a mysterious sleep she had been unable to wake her from was but another blow to the senshi, fearing loss again she is desperate to awaken the princess and hopes to find the rest of her team to help her do so.

Transformation: Evelyn calls out 'Peridot Mineral Power, Make-up!' with one hand outstretched above her, while the other touches the Peridot Pendant around her neck. A ribbon like light appears near her feet circling around her it travels up to her hand materializing her senshi fuku as it goes. As it reaches her outstretched hand the ribbon of light gathers, the brightness intensifying, from it her staff appears.

Abilities: Self Healing - a passive ability she has no control over. She is able to heal her own wounds, because of this she is able to endure more pain. The more severe the wound the harder it is to heal, she may be rendered unconscious to spare her body the energy it needs to complete the task. Slow Aging - a passive ability she has no control over. Due to the power of the Peridot stone, her aging has been slowed significantly, appearing only 19 she is in fact 108 years old currently.
Powers: Peridona Purification - She is currently unable to use this power as her heart is tarnished. Holding her staff vertically before her Sailor Peridot places her hand over the large peridot gem and calls upon the blessing of Hygieia, daughter of Asclepius. Calling out 'Peridona Purification' she grasps hold of the staff and twirls it several times in the air bringing the gemmed end down on the place or person of corruption, purifying the evil.
Shield of Peridot - her only form of offensive attack. Holding her staff horizontally forward Sailor Peridot projects a crystalline shield around whatever or whomever she chooses. Those behind the shield are protected while those attacking have whatever they've hurled at it thrown back at them.
Peridots Bane - A difficult ability she has spent most her life learning and because of this she is now able to use the ability out of senshi form. Placing her hand on the one suffering illness or injury Sailor Peridots eyes slide shut, on her forehead her symbol begins to shine forth (if in her senshi form, her tiaras gem glows) The others state begins to improve while what is healed is transfered to the senshi. Her own natural abilities take over then, and the wounding she now suffers is healed.
Sailor History: On her nineteenth birthday Evelyn received a mysterious gift, a pendant with a lovely peridot stone, with no address attached. Strangely drawn to the item she couldn't help but wear it. Some time later she found out why as the pendant turned out to be a significant item of transformation, giving her the form of Sailor Peridot the senshi of healing and protection.
Learning the full extent of her powers came at a crucial time giving her to opportunity to save the life of her sister. And it was at her approval that Evelyn spend time training and growing as a senshi. Setsuna Meioh, also known as Sailor Pluto provided an essential roll teaching her her duties.
