Do not want me because I look right,
~Nor run away because I ruin your sight,
How do you know what I am capable of?
I could be heaven, or death from above!
~I like to dance,
~But to ask, no one takes the chance,
~I am a good poet,
~But would you even care for it?
I could like all that lingers,
Winning all with five fingers,
I might not give a damn about you,
Just glad that you look cool,
You might like my beauty, but I may be a bore,
Or turn out to be a heartless whore,
I might be one to leave many sores,
Even say nasty things to hurt your core!
~You will probably run from my horrid looks,
~Did you know I am a good cook?
~I am one full of good talks,
~Also one who likes to go on long walks!
~I am a good soul, who likes new things to know,
~Someone who knows it take time for good things to grow,
You can easily know the beauty that lies on the out
To make your body water, no doubt,
~But what matter would that make,
~If all the good looks are fake,
~It is good to learn about me from the start,
~Do not look at my face, look at my heart.
~I may make you cringe,
~But my reason may make others singe,
~True beauty lies in eyes of the beholder,
Distorted by the eyes of the beast,
~Hidden in the holes of compassion and personality,
Forgotten in the winds of stereotype,
~My eyes are open, so are my hearts’
But are your eyes open?
