The names Mirage Seraph Balancia, just call me Mirage. The name is a sort of trademark to me, so if you see it anywhere, assume it's me. Been a Gaian for a several years now and honestly I don't care for this site anymore. I only use it to keep in touch with some of my friends and a guild I'm in, Weird Inc. Huh. Same here, except I'm in Florida.

Beat Skeletron. A few seconds into my final attempt, a star crashed into one of his arms and destroyed it. Did a nice bit of damage to the head, too. Made the whole "run like a b***h and take pot shots" strategy much more workable.

As long as Officer isn't about to develop sapience and go rogue, I"m good. So I've been meaning to ask you something: do you stay up really late every night, or are we in very different places? Not asking for a location or anything. I'm just curious. Last time I asked it turned out that my friend was going about their morning routine. In Scotland.

By the way, have you noticed your avatar shifting from left to right? I've noticed mine do it a few times now. Not when I change pages, but just while I'm in the middle of typing. It's starting to freak me out just a little. It's like he's watching me, except he's me so it's me watching myself.

Yeah, I read a few bits and pieces about the game on it's wiki while I was waiting for them to finally launch the console port. I intend to avoid the Wall of Flesh until I'm confident that there's just plain nothing else left to kill in my world.

Oh, you'll love this: shortly after finding my first bombs, I returned home to deposit all the crap I'd accrued. I stowed everything away, walked out the door and turned to close it. I hit the wrong button. Instead of closing the door I tossed bombs into the middle of the house. That's plural. When the door didn't close, I just naturally hit the button again before realizing my mistake. I did it again not thirty minutes later. Ended up having to do a whole new building when I ******** up with the dynamite a few hours after that and blew the plateau I was living on into a valley. (I keep mixing up the "action" and "use" buttons, and it's starting to get just a tad annoying).

Spiked balls I have. The Goblins left me just shy of 250. I also already have a large, flat area with a grid of platforms nearby from after I learned what an "Eye of Cthulhu" is. Nothing like scooting on home to refine a crapload of meteorite with the intent to finally get some better armor only to have a boss get in one last "******** you" before you upgrade. As it turns out, though, "shining" a laser in someone's eye apparently really CAN do a lot of damage.
