Personality: Karl "ConBred" Live was Dan Lamb's herald, his hype-man, and a real antagonizing instigator. Karl was, in fact, Dan's alter-ego. The emotions that Dan has abandoned give Karl form and a kind of life. Emotionally he is far more complete and sophisticated than Dan. Karl is throughly contradictory in nature. He is the archetypal fool, encouraging drama and taking no responsibility for anything. He may be mocking and condecending, occasionally threatning. His emotions flip in an instant. He is everything Dan is but then some. Although Dan kept Karl contained through psychological practices, Karl has a mind of his own and his intelligence even rivals that of Dan's. His wisdom was usually aimed to benefit both these personalities. His views are considered evil and strange but inside of Karl's mind lies untapped potential but blocked by layers of psychosis.

His story: An evil twisted alter ego of Dan Lamb created by his rage, sorrow, despair, and malice to create havoc. He manage to get Lady Rose Rogers(a now free gennie) to seperate himself from Dan Lamb. He views Dan an a weaker version although Dan seems to be much stronger.

He is currently working under Epic to find a way to kill Dan Lamb... He doesn't know what will happen to himself if he does kill him. Would he disappear as well? Epic keeps him locked up most of the time, in fear that he may turn on her but his hatred for Dan rivals even that of Epic's. He has become great friends with Epic's lover, 211 Steel, as the three will often be seen sparing with each other. Really all he is doing is finding a way to absorb Epic's negative energy to use against Dan. Although separated from Dan, Karl does not fully trust Sietra. Karl has always been interested in killing his other self(Dan). But now he's so fixated on his revenge that he says even Epic will have to die-and that he, Karl, will do it. Perhaps the change was brought on by something he recalls from continually haunting memories of Epic's slaughter of Dan's Clan.

We also discover that 211 Steel didn't just take part in the murders with Epic. 211 Steel tortured Dan with a torture technique. Telling Dan that he had to kill Kronovox(Dan's Master) and by doing so can bring very specific and awesome powers. Not knowing that he(211 Steel) had just help create a sinister alter ego of Dan... Karl Live was born.


When Dan finds out that he had this darker evil side, he became his own worst enemy. The entity started calling himself, Karl Live. Karl would sometimes speak through Dan having others think that it was Dan. When Dan came across a Genie by the name of Lady Rose Rogers, he had 3 wishes to be granted. Karl tricked her into separating them by wishing it having her think that it was Dan. Lady Rose Rogers had made an oath, never to grant wishes to benefit evil or she would be stripped from her powers for 100 years. After Karl became his physical form, an explosion of negative energy sent Dan and Lady Rose flying into the ground knocking them unconscious. Karl quickly had tried to kill Dan... but felt that if he did, he would too die. Karl leaves them both alive... but went on a murderous rampage in a nearby town.


After Dan catches up with a fleeing Karl, they fight, but neither one can gain the upper hand. When Karl deals what looks like a fatal blow, it seems all is over. That is, until Dan's Demented sword begins to glow and all all the spirits burst out. But even with this new found power, Dan isn't able to win against Karl's anger fueled power.

Despite his desire to be stronger than his alter-self, Karl cannot bring himself to kill Dan and gained the powers 211 Steel had mentioned. Leaving Dan defeated, Karl moves on to seek out Kronovox and discover what 211 Steel had spoke of. (more to come)

Signature Moves

Shadow Needles: A Dark-Elemental attack. Launches five needles of darkness at the enemy from behind. 5 Hits

Demonic Laugh: A insane laugh performed by Karl that does Dark-Elemental damage to everybody(including allies) on the battlefield. 5 Hits(per target)

Stun Bolt: Throws a burst of negative energy at the target doing 5x damage but bouncing back at Karl stunning himself for 3 seconds.

Dark Devourer: Summons a creature from the netherworld and sends it to feast upon the enemy. 7 hits(each attack heals Karl of 1/3 of damage done and cures all negative status effects.

Reaping Spark: Creates 10 black spheres that slice up anything caught inside. 10 hits(per target caught in sphere)

Negative Zone: Karl plagues the battlefield with negative energy then focuses it at all enemies on the battlefield. 25 hits (per target)

Soul Steal: A dark art used my soulless demons. Does anywhere between 25-66% damage based on enemy HP. Heals 25-66% based on damaged done.

Dark Fire: Creates a multiple fire bolts with heat seeking potential. 28 bolts

Dark Thunder: Countless bolts of negative energy channeled directly in front of Karl. 35 hits(front only)

Dark Ice: Summons the coldest spell from the coldest, darkest energy hitting targets around Karl. 10 hits(around caster)

Dark Domain: The ultimate dark spell. Randomly hits ALL targets on the battlefield 666 times. Extremely weak. 666 hits
