I think it's normal to get fascinated with a theme even if it's morbid sometimes, haha. Almost all of my characters have backstories where they deal with captivity and/or manipulative antagonists. n__n;; So yay for darker backstories?

It's really good so far! And I like that they included one actress's pregnancy into the show (not telling who, spoilers!). And omg Waverly and Nicole (Officer Haught who lives up to her name lol) are adorable!! <3

As much as I love the premise and all of the actors that are on Preacher (like Graham McTavish!!! I don't have a crush on him, but I do like him a lot! Like I wish that he was an uncle or a grandpa kind of like), I can't really get into the show. neutral

I KNOW RIGHT?!?!
The writing so far is better than True Blood! AND MIDNIGHT, TEXAS HAS WAAAAAAAAY MORE DIVERSITY IN THE SHOW THAN IN THE BOOKS TOO!! <3

I was worried that the main character, Manfred, was going to be an a*****e/jerk character. BUT INSTEAD HE'S KINDA SYMPATHETIC AND CARING AND HELPS OTHERS. AND I REALLY LIKE HIM AND CREEK'S FLIRTING OMG IT'S SO SWEET THAT I HAVE CAVITIES. Even though they kissed in the second episode, it didn't feel rushed like in other shows and omg it's not like they're IN LOVE, but more like "Hey, I like you and wanna make out with you" and just alkhaflkdjhkdjfhaksjdhfalksjhfd. YES, HEALTHY ATTRACTION IS HAVING ITS MOMENT IN TV/MEDIA.

I think magical sci-fi? I'm not sure if it was the setting or the dm made it up, but there were mutations involved and a magic portal to a post-apocalyptic type place (I think there was a destroyed wal-mart there, but that was probably added by the DM)

are those the names of the games or the character types? I know there's a game called boot hill that's basically a cowboy tabletop. The youtube series I watch for new board games played it a bit on their rpg series.
