The Quick-n-dirty

This site was home to me for a very, very long time. It gave me lifelong friends, and just as importantly, fostered a passion for writing that I never realized I had. I am so, so grateful for that, and for my time here on Gaia.

However, the parts of the site that I loved are just not the same anymore. Elitism looms over the forums like a stormcloud, apparent at a glance just based upon the names you see filling the same places. I'm not generally one to yuck someone else's yum, but... I think some of you could do with branching out. Or, maybe consider a proper break. It certainly did wonders for me.

Should any of my old friends or writing partners wish to reconnect, I'm absolutely open to it—even if we weren't on the best of terms. I don't like to hold grudges unless you've done something truly heinous. I've been lingering a little more often lately, just putzing around with my avatar. So, if you wanna chat, drop me a PM, and I might be willing to share my Discord!

And, if you're into RP on FFXIV, I definitely wanna hear from you! That's my usual haunt lately, and I'm deeefinitely lookin' forward to Dawntrail's updates!

Its still amazing that it lasted for that long. I thought the inn would have been blown off the map from battles way before people lost interest RPing. At least Gaia keeps our hoarding instinct kicking since they are giving away old MC items for free. Maybe they can give away an Angelic Halo as a 1% thing for a daily rofl

Thanks, glad to know that some of my old friends are still alive on this site. I would like to think that many OG Gaian's also forgot their original e-mails to their account lol sweatdrop Hope things are going great for you as well! Its been very nostalgic coming back here.
