It wasn't long while they tumbled into an endless well, the center of the earth... a large rabbit hole... that the ceiling finally became the flooring... every falling piece of furniture around them shattering with such brutal force as it struck the ground, like breaking bones. Surrounding the floor like splintered skeletons, husks of broken men, they would have hovered... listlessley floating like vapor to the floor. seemingly weightless lumps of living flesh. Actions being driven out, beyond nothing more then the alley way they had previously been in. With it all, Hatter could watch, viewing both worlds delightfully, and she was performing wonderfully... such a precious doll... all of them were precious... Jervis liked dolls after all. Landing gracefully on his feet, he casually dusted a bit of plaster molding off his jacket sleeve, and straightened, lips eclipsing into a twisted smile under the brim of his beloved Top Hat. "--Welcome to Wonderland Catwoman!" he chimed, arms thrown out excitedly as if he was grand standing, content to show off his lovely home, all the while fluttering playing cards, cascade down from the endless pit... casting an unnerving light, what else would fall down from above to crush them flat? "--It's where I first met Alice, you know? Ah, what grand adventures we had... but I guess you'll soon know yourself..." pausing a moment, his shoulders slumped, back still turned as he continued speaking to her in even, calm tones, "-- how delightfully wicked of you... trying to tempt poor Jervis... would you have broken his heart? No matter, he's a foolish boy you know, wanted you all to himself that one...such a fool..." he cooed, finally turning back to face her, smile even more wild, as a flush of dusky dirty blonde hair fell into his eyes, "--Jervis isn't with us anymore, I'm the Mad Hatter... but you can call me Hatsy... everyone else does, I will be your guide, on this tour....at least until your mind breaks, and Don't worry precious, your mind will be broken soon enough, its only a matter of time..." he cooed while snickering to himself, checking his pocket watch as if he was timing the event to see how long it took. Wetting thin lips, he sank against the wall... perched upon a shattered dresser, dressed in only the finest Victorian style clothing, "--Can you find the way out? Tell me, Tell me...." he continued to mock, clapping the watch face shut and slipping it back into his coat pocket, lips pulled back into a vicious sneer. Despite is relatively simple looks, there was something devilishly handsome about him as well, something monstrous, and with it all... danger... breaking her mind was not to be an easy feat, the strong willed were always harder to.... bend... and if her resolve was anything like that brooding b*****d Batman, then he'd have his work cut out for him...

[[Don't worry about up and leaving, we all have lives to lead outside of Gaia... I've been terribly busy myself so you have nothing to fret over. Sorry about everything going on with you, hope youre better now. I'm doing okay, going to a couple conventions soon, and just working at my job, little else has changed, but I can't complain, I'm happy enough :} and don't worry, I don't plan to have Selina lose her mind... perhaps Bruce can save her, -shrugs- not unless you want too xD ))

[[Yeah I wasn't sure where to take it, so I decided to do something entirely different, if it doesn't interest you though Cat/Alice could always break free from Jervis' mind control... if she is strong willed enough. But you seem content enough from what I can tell -nods- take whatever time you need, I'm a patient sort of person, busy, but patient :} glad you like my cosplay, I had alot of fun being Scarecrow, you should definitely attend one if you can, and I do suggest cosplaying... the cons are more fun that way, after all there is only so much booth browsing and panel watching you can do, might as well have fun getting your picture taken, and taking pictures with others in between.}}

Jervis was stumped, dare say a little annoyed, he himself might have been crafty, craftier then most criminals in the gallery, but this particular one was a stumper, he wouldn't have been surprised if Alice found it faster then he. Chewing on his knuckle thoughtfully, kneeling down, and shifting this way and that, he frowned... mind miles away, as it slipped into its usual madness, it had been so nice to have Alice as his own, not under his spell, but by his own doing, without any of his usual tricks. Though he had to admit dropping Alice, into her own private Wonderland did seem appealing, what curiosities would she bring, he could watch, could participate in every grisly act as if they were his own, but never, ever harm her of course... she was much to good to be bruised. Her own eager reaction towards his affections seemed to stoke some manner of fire within him, as if something beyond simply 'Tetch' dissapeared and in his place stepped something darker, something more twisted, if such a thing were possible. Turning to keep an eye on her, she was suddenly gone...Instantly his teeth grind together, and his heart shot up into his throat, "--Alice?" visions of Croc snatching her and diving down into the sewers, made him want to vomit, or maybe just kill whoever might have snatched her... Hatter working in over drive, she could have only gone one way... the alley... booking down it but before he could make it half way, he appeared before her... them... eyes danced between the pair, and he felt instantly better... the other none other then the well dressed Arcee Gibson, one of the few he felt alright about bumping into on this crisp December night, "Why Hatter, I believe I've found your pleasant companion! I think you should keep a closer eye on her. Trying to visit Riddles are you?" for a moment he'd snort in mild annoyance, as if she was scolding him... pushing past it, knowing full well its best to have as many allies as one could... he nodded, "--Thank you Arcee... yes... I..." glancing to the right of him, was an obvious metal door, and upon it a spray painted green question mark, instantly the Hatter was a little more miffed, all his hard work for naught, "--What bullshit, that's it?" most likely a trap, but if he was careful, Edward would certainly be watching... "--Care to come and see the great and powerful Oz with us my dear?" he questioned already carefully pushing the door open... jumping back as if to avoid... something, but nothing came...

It was obvious she was playing a terribly dangerous game, and she didn't seem to mind it one bit, confidently Jervis scoffed, almost wishing the Bat would show up now to see the Cat secured in his arms, not under her spell, though he had to admit dropping the Cat into her own private Wonderland did seem appealing, what curiosities would she bring, he could watch, could participate in every grisly act as if they were his own. Her own eager reaction seemed to stoke some manner of fire within him, as if something beyond simply 'Tetch' dissapeared and in his place stepped something darker, something more twisted, if such a thing were possible. Instantly his teeth grind together, securing her against the wall, squeezing her throat a little tighter, "--You're a delightfully sweet fool Catwoman... Jervis might be gentle, he doesn't like to hurt women... but I do..." the mad man hissed, eyes flashing with sinister glee, "--You might think me a fool, you might think that this is all under your control..." he hissed, "--But you are gravely mistaken... it is you who are under my control Selena..." and if she did not react in time, the Hatters hand snapped out like a striking asp, a 10/6 control card suddenly entwined within those golden locks, and then they were one... joined in one single realm that seemed all too real, as Gotham city fell away to reveal a spiraling nightmare. Jerking her close he forced his lips hard against hers in a firm forceful kiss, and then he pulled away releasing her as the floor suddenly, miraculously fell out from underneath her... and soon the pair were falling down into a vast nothingness, all of this a twisted hallucination, meanwhile they hadn't gone anywhere, just stayed in the same place all the while as they sensation consumed them... "--Tick tock, dickory dock, where oh where is my clock...you musn't panic precious feline... the more you panic, the quicker your mind becomes slave to mine..." he confessed, purring with delight as various pieces of furniture fell beside them, falling opposite in such a strange manner, as they went deeper, and deeper down the darkened rabbit hole...

One would be a fool to assume that the Hatter was harmless, especially where Alice was involved, but it was obvious that the cat knew exactly what she was doing, playing with fire, if dangerous men were her thing, Tetch was close to the top of that list, his fanatical obsessions over Wonderland and Alice often left the women left in his care, broken both in mind, body, and soul...and he enjoyed each and every moment of it, delightfully. His reaction to her answer was instantaneous, and suddenly different then his former display, as if a switch had been turned on, springing he launched himself forward, hands slamming hard planted against the wall behind her barricading her in, and closing the small space between them, "--You walk a dangerous path Miss kitty, but assuredly you're no fool... After all there's no need to change..." he cooed, steely grey blue eyes glittering like buffed stones beneath the brim of his top hat, twisted lecherous smile deepening as he stared her down, "--Afterall, Life is nothing but a dollhouse, I like Dolls, especially the live ones..." licking his lips, gloved fingers looped beneath the blonde wig freeing a lock of her natural hair, maddening as he was he leaned forward face pressed uncomfortably close against her neck, nuzzling her hair... Drawing in the scent, pinning her against the wall with his hands and hips, "--Is this what you want Miss Kitty? Will you? Won't you? Will you? Won't you?" suddenly his hand snapped out, thin fingers closing about her slender throat, that grin of his growing wider, and though he did not squeeze hard enough to strangle her the feeling was there just below the surface as he felt her racing pulse, that perhaps if he wanted... He could, "--Will you join the dance?"

Glad you liked the comics on my profile ^_^ and I used to pretend I was catwoman and jump around the couch haha. redface Haha I wouldn't mind if you did start off the conversation like that, I'm a silly person lol >w< Also wish I still had the movie still. But will have to search through the cabinets filled with so many tapes, CDs, family pictures, etc. @3@ it's such a mess in there lol
