Me and my family started a D&D session too. It's the beginner set tho, where you have to take pre-made sheets. Big ew, because I want to be a Goblin Rogue, not a Halfling Rogue lol. Hopefully we get over with it soon. We pretty much rolled our dices like big noobs in our first fight, lmao

your avatar atm is Wonderful. i love grungy looks, i want to make ko more grungy a lot of the time but the stupid s**t likes looking too much like a rich girl instead. (i'm also laughing bc i went to check the items you had on out of curiosity and maid necklace is on there and i just wonder how it is that gaia perfected pixels in that one ancient item and have literally not improved on necklaces or chokers since)

OHHHHHH BRAINSTORMING COFFEE SHOP NAMES HELL YEAH i will hit u up on discord for that fun fantasy worldbuilding. idk if you knew (i probs invited you at some point) about our guild smoke and mirrors??? anyway that was a fancy lil cabaret bar basically in durem that looked like nothing from the outside. but yeah i know the entrance was from a kind of town square so maybe the coffee shop is in a similar location, idk?

D; dang, i still know p much nothing about dnd but to be fair i just went 'that's one of the biggest and most fleshed-out worlds out there w scores of races etc maybe something fits in there'. but yeah, i'm thinking... ko and kei started probs as humans maybe? then they have their scars which don't disappear which i was thinking are bc of their deaths. neither have magic powers as such, but supernatural shapeshifting skills and those skills are literally transforming themselves into anything humanoid and roughly human-sized basically. things like their eye colour, white streak and scars don't disappear, but the two of them have gotten good at non-magical disguises too which covers those when necessary. and they seem to regularly have tiefling-like aspects now too, such as elf ears (always) and horns and tail (frequent). idk, i feel like i made them overpowered messes or super indulgent OCs at least by giving them unlimited shapeshifting but now i've realised it's not unlimited, they're just good at it lmao.

idk, 'shapeshifter' seems like a v broad term which is why i was wondering about a certain race, but i'm thinking maybe human or elves when they were killed, and whatever powers brought them back were maybe tiefling warlock or something so they were imbued w said powers?? who even knows /shrug

as an aside, you and your vast knowledge of dnd and general magical affinity should help me lmao

whaaaat race could ko and kei be? basically from what i have of them in my head, they have shapeshifting abilities but certain things can't/don't disappear using said abilities (scars, white streaks), aaaand i think that their scars are what has killed them. but now they're Back. lmao. I DON"T KNOW i was vaguely thinking lich but they don't really have magical abilities to speak of apart from shapeshifting. that was their race for a long time there, but idk, i've settled into their basic appearances too much and 'this is also ko but she looks different bc Shapeshifting' feels like a copout sometimes. their canon appearances seem to be what they are now, w the caveat (if i'm going with the whole ******** thing) being that the scars, white streaks, eye colour etc are different to what they were in life.

i mean, i can still roll with shapeshifter, but i feel like i may need more rules around that if that's the case. they're still masters of disguise regardless though.

oh, i just assumed the new inventory was meant to be for the mobile app and not the mobile site. it would make more sense for accessing the site on mobile though, it is just... the app is far too broken at this point i think

i actually do need to add you on discord!!!!! i still have no clue how to use it, i just chill w two friends on there and that is literally is lmao. one of them organises everything and me and the other just roll with it since we don't know how anything works. it's kind of tempting to join the gaia discord too, but i would probably freeze up with so many people to talk to. but it really would be fun to interact w other people who are into gaia (and ocs specifically) again. there was someone who hated me and blocked me in the GCD tho and it would be v awkward if they happened to be there l o l

BUT YEAH i think our next step is getting art once we have worked out how our kids work together FIGURING OUT HOW KO AND KEI AND DELI AND DOMITRE GET ALONG LMAO

OH EXCELLENT DELI IS literally half an inch taller than me AN ACTUAL GAIA OC. idk, i just love gaia ocs esp when they become more than the site. idk if i'm making sense lol. jfc asldkfjaldk i actually seriously did not know the trade limit was now 50 items, i've traded a few things to kei in the last few days and I WAS STILL DOING 12 ITEMS. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS. god, i literally could've done it all at once. i've stopped being too fussy, and the influx of new items from everything on the site actually has been making it easier to clothe kei, so i feel like i'm close to a good style for him. just wanting a good silent grimace mouth and maybe a slightly different ponytail, since he's going that way lately (and it looks so much better than his short hair tbh). what kind of style does domitre go for?

i was waiting until you responded (lmao), but i really want to know more about deli as the present oc/avatar!!!! and also domitre, which is such a great name omg. i find it interesting that out of the people who are still on the site in my friend group (so basically... you and one other person) we've mostly gone down the route of having solid ocs. i just don't feel like the site would keep me as interested w/o me maintaining my ocs, even though i love dressing up so much.

i am actually strongly considering a midori outfit. midori as it stands would merge nicely with catharsis anyway, so i might look into that! i hadn't thought of using the miserable scheme, but i think that's bc i don't have a lot of items w those colours. i might have to pull them out though! (most of what i have under that scheme are cutesy items, i think, not the kind of opulent outfit ko usually goes for)

lmao my wishlist is probably skewed 70/30 in favour of dressing up kei atm, bc ko has a giant wardrobe to play around in but i'm always looking for masc poses that don't look awkward to me. i think i've settled on his hair for now though - i hadn't thought about a longer hairstyle before but it's just the kind of thing he and ko would have. (to be fair, ko and kei used to be super pale too, but i'm not a big fan of that anymore either. a lot of their outfits now consist of poses that just didn't exist way back when, and just look better now lol)

i'm a bit sad that great new hairstyles aren't really being modified with scissors anymore actually?? i love this ponytail and how well it goes w the white streaks, but i'd also like to shorten it just a little bit, and agape scissors just make it look weird. every hair mod i have just removes the ponytail entirely, and usually makes the hair on the head scruffy too.

also as unrelated questions - what's the gaia discord like? and how your forum assistanting going?

re: rigs from logins - i have pages full of those now emo i just don't have the patience for them lol, i should probably donate them all. i went to try out the new inventory arranger the other day but did not like it at all, so i found the link to the old old one haha. i know the new one was arranged for mobile users, but i actually dl'd the mobile app a few weeks ago bc i remembered that it was good for dressing up with when i last had it, but it seems to be pretty broken now??? which to me means the inventory arranger should be updated...

FIRST - you have made it so much easier for me to find hair items omfg thank you. not a lot have the right streaked or natural look of black and white to them that i like, but it's a super good start!!!! now i just wish gaia did tektek break downs so i could just search by hair alone and see the icon of the hair preview immediately instead of having to look through all the item poses to see.

SECOND - you realise if you're only recently coming back to gaia i should be gifting you not the other way around, right? lol i don't really go out and buy much stuff anymore and the majority are things i use on both ko and kei (i like them looking pretty and it was high time i went back to finding new looks for them) but i am having fun atm populating my wishlist w a bunch of stuff, bc i have decided to just go for a few colour themes and try ko and kei in those. catharsis is a super nice colour theme that will suit them both, and... okay midori doesn't work for them but it's so nice. i have serene tiger of yuera and that's enough for me to want more of that scheme lol.

i hear you on the items... some days i go and toss a few more things into the donation bin but for the most part my inventory just keeps expanding so much. it doesn't help that i'm an angel subscriber and gaia's new way of doing reward tiers is that if you donate in that month as an angel subscriber you get all the tiers you reach for any reward tier system during that time. it does give me more of an opportunity to get newer items though!

but yes. my wishlist is up to date. i'm not playing the waiting game and hoping for a bunch of them to be rereleased (looking at you, mythrill horns) bc i can't buy something that's not even on the mp for ko and kei both. emo

lmaooooo i haven't changed mine properly in months and at this point i keep changing th base to try out like, oc designs and other looks, but i never save them hence the blue body with human tone arms oops.

god, i guessed as much after seeing your wishlist. really going all out there huh. wink i really do need to change mine up at some point because i'd like some updated looks for ko and kei, but i haven't committed to it yet (and i hate that i can't easily search for black and white hair like i could on tektek so i've just half given up tbh)
