Ailia Arendel is my most broadly used original character. She was created for my first Baldur's Gate game, and has since been through the whole Baldur's Gate series, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, an old MMORPG called Redmoon, KotOR I & II, Sims 1 & 2, and Skyrim, as well as various websites where I need an avatar and user name. Ailia is an Elven Fighter/Mage (in 2nd Edition D&D, but similarly utilized in all games I've played her in, primarily focusing on the "fighter" aspects because killing monsters with swords or lightsabers (plural because Ailia dual-wields in any game that allows it) is so satisfying. Initially, I started as pure-class Mage, but I didn't even make it out of the BG1 Prologue before deciding I needed to be able to use a sword. I tend to use archery most of the time in Skyrim, though.) with Chaotic Good alignment (or maximum Light in KotOR...). She's older, wiser, and more experienced than any of my other characters, but very strong-minded and independent.

I've drawn dozens, if not hundreds, of pictures of Ailia over the years. Most of them were just crappy sketches and doodles. I do intend to finish up the most current one eventually... The only design constants are green eyes (actually, I think in the veeeery first colored picture I did of her, she had blue eyes. O.O That's so weird to me now), blonde hair, and Elf ears. Because she's an Elf. Her current Gaia outfit most closely resembles her Skyrim light armor, which consists of a green leaf-like cuirass with pauldrons, grey leather breeches, and tall black boots with silver-white trim.

The name "Ailia" came about through mostly-random typing in the Baldur's Gate character creation screen until I found a combination I liked. I wanted an alliterative last name (mind, this was some time before I read Harry Potter ^_~), and "Arendel" is thus loosely based on "Elendil" from Lord of the Rings, because I like the sound of it, but with a Japan-ified L-as-R, among other changes.

This account isn't exactly a mule in the normal sense. Rather, this was my first Gaia account, but I didn't come here much at first and forgot my password. Since Gaia wouldn't or couldn't send a password recovery link to the Hotmail account I signed up with, I started another account, which is now my primary one.

Months later, I remembered the password for this one. So, yeah. I've made her all sparkly-pretty, though. All my accounts are dressed up fancy ^_^
