Pieces
I sit
I wait
But nothing
I'm alone in the darkness
Always alone.
My heart is numb
Still numb from heart ache
Heart break
He broke it
And never fixed it
I didn't want him to.
The pieces lay at my feet
What do I do?
I pick them up but they slip through my fingers
Always falling
Always breaking
Who will come and help me?
Who will piece my heart together?
I wait but he never comes
Why?
How long will it take?
For now, I remain still.
Numb.
I sit.
I wait.
But nothing.
It was just one of those days where I was really depressed and it just popped in my head.
