Five days in bed and I have not fully recovered from the flu. I got my Inu Yasha dvd's and some others that were waiting for me, but I was too ill to watch them. Or read. Or play video games. I just lay in bed trying to sleep, mostly without success. Massive headaches, fever. Melody has caught it also. I am thinking I shouldn't be here now. I am so tired.

So, last Wednesday night (when I worked last) Warwick told me to go home. I my nose was running so badly that I ran out of tissues - and I had a huge amount.
Went to bed when I got home, but couldn't sleep. I lay there with a headache.
When I finally dozed off, I kept waking up. Or should I say I slept in fitful starts?
The worst came at 3am. I woke shivering. Couldn't stop. Needed to go to the loo. Got up and I could barely walk as I was shuddering so much. Teeth chattering etc. I can't remember how many times I ended up needing to go to the loo, but at the third time I started crying because it was hurting so much from shivering. I also needed a refill of my drink of water... carrying it back to bed - I lost half of it on the way. All over the floor. That's how bad it was. sweatdrop
Thursday morning Melody took me to Penrith to look for a modem - she was starting to feel a bit sick. (Only a sore throat...) I went to chemist... no hang on, I staggered into the chemist and almost begged for cold/flu tablets & cough medicine. I was so weak. Bought 8 boxes of tissues (believe me, I needed them!) and then waited and waited and waited for Melody to finish her business... which left me sitting in her car feeling like I was going to puke. stare
I don't remember much of the rest of the week except that I got really fed up with being in bed but was too tired (and sick) to do anything else.
That was really bad. Being surrounded by books, manga, DVD's and video games and not being able to use them! crying
