A week before she passed, she kept asking to see our brother.
But that didn't happen. Her husband said that she was "delusional" and didn't know what she was saying.
What a b*****d.
We tried. We really did. He and Mum are being disgraceful by acting out on FB.
I had to step in with Melody to delete comments on posts while Melody lectured them via messages.
Brooke was right. Our family has splintered into parts now Joanne is gone.
As Brooke is going to move (with Curtis and the cats) into Joanne's house.. to look after her step-father and pay off the mortgage, he has been... inflincing her.
Weeks go by without any contact. Any attempt on my end is usually met with silence or terse replies.
She is going to move back to the house where her step-father verbally abused her. Gasslighted her. Threw things at her. All the while blaming... depression?
We had a nice talk this morning about the cats. So that was good.
I miss my sister. The funeral was nice despite her husband's obvious distaste at Jeremy attending, and the hatred towards Mum.
But what mattered was Jeremy got to say goodbye to Joanne.
