Anything and everything, won't be daily, could be a load of rubbish...
Tuesday - The beggar's curse
English author Ann Cheetham... who is now known as Ann Pilling.
Geez must be an old edition.
No idea who did the cover though the artwork looks familiar.
Looks more like a sci-fi book with it than what it really is.
It's also the second in a series.
First being Black harvest.
Although if you pick this book up first you wouldn't think so.
There's no... mention/sense of the three children having been together on an earlier "adventure" if thats what you would call it.
It does acknowledge that the children know each other - Colin and Prill are siblings and Oliver is a cousin.
Quite an eerie story.

When Colin, Oliver and Prill arrive in the village of
Stang they realise at once that something is wrong
with the place. Up on the surrounding hills spring
is blossoming, but in this dark little valley no
flowers bloom and birds never sing.

Prill knows there is something very sinister about
the age-old rituals of the village play...

Colin know the gruesome incidents that keep
happening are no accidents...

Oliver alone knows the truth. He knows the awful
secret of Stang. He sees the ancient evil that is
rising from the black waters of Blake's Pit. He
feels the terrible power of the
beggarman's curse.

Got to sleep really late.
Sleep walking didn't help.
How am I going to survive AMLIB training?
Aaaaah!!!
Later
Am not happy.
Had a fight with BB.
She blew it way out of proportion.
I was joking around.
She took it seriously.
Might crash at Warwick's tonight.
We'll see.
Am not looking forward to an hour walk late at night...
Also forgot my keys.
And money which meant I could have caught a taxi home.
Plus my jacket.
Bleagh.
You want to know how it started?
Her smoking lead to me squirting a little water onto the back of her neck.
She told Jozilla that I "threw" water at her.
1. The water was in a water bottle, with a pop up cap.
2. The amount of water was prob 3 tablespoons or less.
Oh, whatever.
I'm just sick of everything.

DVD...
Kabhie kushie kabhie gham/Sometimes Happiness, Sometimes Sorrow - Hindi with English subs.
Ah, some lovely songs and dancing in this one.
Family, fielty, marrying out of your own religion, loooove.
Pretty good.
The storyline bounces back and forth between the past and the present - a little annoying.
The subtitles are pretty crappy as well (especially the second half of the film), when a line comes up on the screen you have to wait before the people start talking 10-15 seconds later.
Mohabbatein/Love stories - Hindi with English subs.
Rather silly story of a private boys school.
There were some nice dance scenes.
Over the top drama.
All about obedience and looooove that will never die etc.
Aishwarya Rai & Preeti Jhangiani were brill.
Lacked something though.
