So recently, the new OLED switch was announced. I gotta say, I am wholeheartedly not impressed. We all wanted improvements to things like joycon drift and improvements to the hardware, but what we got was kinda.... not worth it. I mean, from a tech pov I guess I was thinking about buying the OLED model so I can root my OG switch and homebrew that b***h.

But then, as a lot of my life tends to go, Valve happened.

That ******** steam deck is in my ******** dreams y'all. An ultra portable gaming PC in a switch like form factor that plays my steam library. Excuse my language but ******** YEA this is exactly what I want! It's like the GPD handheld computers if they were competent for prices that are so reasonable I feel like I might s**t myself out of my living room and onto the moon.

A piece of ultra portable computer hardware that I can run Linux on, or I can run Windows, and I bet someone out there is going to make one into a hackintosh. This is a device that I've wanted for a while, but so far no one has made it yet until Valve announced it.

Now, sure, I bet I can find a way to install steam games on a switch. But, c'mon. Better hardware? Touch Pads? Hopefully no joystick drift? Excuse me but why is anyone looking at Nintendo right now when they could be looking at the steam deck.
