The reason I have the worst abandonment issues is the same reason I quote un quote owned over a hundred cats. I grew up on a farm, tons of land, no friends, but we had so many cats, too many that it was an issue. I kept finding litters of kittens in the trash can, pulled them out and brought them to any of the mama cats that I thought they belonged too. I did this for years, and named every single kittycat, my parents were angry at me for doing that, because I would bring them in my room which got really stinky from all the kitty pee and we got so many fleas!! in the basement your legs would get covered. I refused to stop rescueing the kitties, so my parents began taking them off the farm to be put to sleep, not only that, but the high way took care of a lot my babies that they let me keep.... I would run into the road in high traffic to get their bodies to bury them. I still to this day love every single one of those kittys and because I grew so attached and cried my eyes out over every single one, I'm pretty sure I'm messed up. and as a full grown adult, I learned a horrible truth from my mom recently, something I should've pieced together over the years... the cats didn't happen to give birth in the dumpster, My grandpa was the one throwing the kittens in the trash. I found three litters, but I hate to imagine the ones I didn't find....
