Writing ideas for rps, or at least personal writing.
Dragonborn, humans, Orcs, Taurens.
Hobbits:
Hobbits are creatures of caution that often do not leave their homes. They are simple folks that take pleasure in the simple things. They survive on being unnoticed, making them some of the best adventurers and rogues around. Standing at three feet tall and weighing up to 45 pounds, they are simply not imposing. Their skin tones range from pale to tan, They are usually farmers by nature. Hobbits can live up to 110 years and are considered adults at the age of 18. Hobbits are generally not interested in trinkets or the truly finer things in life, they are happy with a tankard of ale and a good hot meal, with a set of comfortable clothes on their backs. Hobbits are friends to all, assuming someone isn't trying to kill them. In fact, a Hobbit is welcomed by every race, spare the Orcs who only show respect to the strong.

Hobbit: +2 to dexterity, +2 to charisma, Brave: You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened. Halfling Nimbleness: You can move through the space of any creature that is of a size larger than yours. Base running speed of 25 feet. Can speak, read, and write Common and Hobbit.
Classes: Ranger, Adventurer, Rogue, Cleric.

Orcs:
Orcs are a race of warriors, placing their honor and family above all else. They stand anywhere from 6-7 feet in height, and can weigh as much as 280+ pounds. They are strong, built, broad, and tough. Their complexion can range in shades of green, grey, and red. Orcs can live up to 100 years of age, considered an adult at the age of 12. Orcs have a right of rule, Patriarchal society. This means that only the greatest warriors control the party. Orcs have two simple sayings that generally govern them, "The strong rule," and "Seeming is being." they often feel actions prove ones worth, not words. Orcs have no major cities, only tribes that are scattered among the plains and through out the mountains. Orcs have no Magical abilities, but have Shamans which act as spiritual guides for the Clan or Tribe. Orcs are proud of what they are, if they are a smith, they will take such pride that they devote their life almost entirely to it. The only thing that makes an Orc more proud than winning a battle, is raising a family. Orcs put great amounts of work into having a strong family, it is the only distraction that they will allow, but is often what fuels their actions. Orcs do not marry as other races do, one must win the right to marry by completing the challenges of the betrothed's father and mother. However, Orcs are very much about "fair play" and will never place another Orc in a situation that they cannot succeed in. Ritual combat is common among Orcs when there is a disagreement among two Orcs, it is also common for a male Orc to have to fight his bride if he is to take her hand in Marriage. Orcs often modify their bodies with piercings and jewelry made of the bones or teeth of their fallen family or powerful foes that they've slain.

Orc Racial Bonus: +2 to strength, +2 to Constitution, -2 Intelligence, Dark Vision, No magic abilities, Relentless Endurance: When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest. Menacing: You are trained in the Intimidation skill. Base walking speed of 30 feet. Orc weapon proficiency: Proficient in Long swords, battleaxes, hand axes, light hammers, warhammers, Shortbows. Can speak, read, and write in common and Orcish.
Classes: Barbarian, Shaman, Ranger, Rogue, Druid.

Tauren:
Tauren are a bull like humanoid that live in a very spiritual and nomadic people with a Matriarchal society. They stand between 6 and 7 feet tall and can weigh more than 280 pounds. Taurens have an can live as long as 75 years. They are covered in fur, that is either brown, black, or grey, and can have spots of either black or brown. Male Tauren grow horns at the age of ascension which is their 14th birthday when they enter physical maturity. Females do not have horns however. Taurens have hoofed, bovine feet and hands with two fingers and a thumb on their hands. Taurens are considered the most stoic of the races, often preferring to remain silent in a situation rather than loud. They do not rush towards battle, but will quickly respond to an attack with unimaginable ferocity. Tauren are not trusting of others, spare the Hobbits and barely hold neutral relations with the Dwarves. However, Taurens have an alliance with the Orcs which can seem baffling to other races until they take into account that an Orc war band once came to aid a Tauren tribe when no others would. Though the War band only did so to gain honor, the Taurens gained the respect of the Orcs for their skills in battle, and the Orcs earned the Taurens trust for helping them in a moment of dire need.

Draenei:
Dranei are an unusual race, alien from this world. They are naturally aligned to good and have a strong sense of justice. This noble race is unlike others as they use Crystal weapons instead of Metal ones. The Draenei are known for their magical abilities and robust bodies, as well as their magnificent architecture.
Draenei build most of their buildings high, with vaulted ceilings with stainglass windows that depict the Gods or stories of old. Draenei males can grow anywhere between 6-7 feet tall with three short horns and a thick skull plate on their foreheads. Draenei females can grow between 5-6 feet with two horns that slope back behind their heads. Draenei have hoofed feet and skin that ranges in shade from light or dark blue, light grey, or light or dark purple. The Draenei are aligned with the Humans and Dwarves, but generally only hate the Orcs. Draenei are known for their hospitality, throwing great feasts for honored guests. Though the Draenei are generally a charismatic people, warm and friendly, but once their trust is broken, it is not easily mended. Draenei are rulled by a cast of Clerics that commune with the gods in an attempt to never repeat the mistakes of the past.

Racial Bonuses Draenei:+2 Intelligence, +1 Wisdom, +1 Constitution, Reduced Magic damage by half. Draenei have a walking speed of 40 feet. Draenei weapons training: proficient in Light hammers, warhammers, Long swords, hand axes, battleaxes, Longbows, and short bows. Medium armor, and heavy armor. Draenei are not hindered by Heavy armor. Capable of reading, writing, and speaking Draenei and Common.
Classes: Paladin, cleric, warrior, ranger, Barbarian, Adventurer.

Humans:
There are three races of men, The Nords, The Britains, and The Anubi. Humans can live to be over 100 years old, reaching maturity at the age of 18.

The Nords are the tallest, standing anywhere from 6-7 feet in height and weighing 200 pounds or more. Nords are often broad, with pale skin and either brown, blonde, or red hair. They have much in common with the Orcs as they are warriors by trade and savage in battle. Nords have a strict code of honor that they abide by are rulled by royal casts that are put into power by their great king. The Nords are known for their sea fairing skills, as well as their prowess in battle, but they are not well known for their magic. Few Nords develop magical abilities and those that do are not often as gifted as those of other races. Nords are the only Race that still respects the Dragonborn, understanding that those metallic Dragonborns were not evil, where most races still fear Dragonborns as a whole. Nords prefer heavy and medium armor as well as tactics that do not rely on unit maneuvers. Nords usually build their settlements and cities to the north, in the tundra's they hail from.

Nord Traits: Resistant to cold/ ice damage by 2 points.

Britains are a race of man known for their logic and reasoning as well as their vast libraries. Their massive cities are built along the planes and a few in the mountains. Unlike the Nords, most consider the Britains to be civilized and cultured. Britains among the shorter humans, averaging from 5 and 1/2 feet to 6 feet tall and weigh over 100 pounds. Britains range in skin tone from pale, olive, and tan skin tones with hair colors of either brown, black, or blonde. Britains live in a patriarchal Democracy where in most cases men rule. Britains prefer the use of Swords, shields, and spears, as well as medium and light armors. Britains are stubborn to a fault and once they reach a decision, they do not often change their minds. The Britains also believe that they are superior to the other humans, though they do not outwardly say it.

The Anubi are a desert people, well known among the Catians for their cities in the deserts and tropics. The Anubi are a hardy people who are very charismatic and wise.Their culture is centered around Magic and the Divine. The Capital city of Kiro is home to the largest library in the human kingdoms. The Anubi have often been at odds with the Britians, feeling that the Britains are arrogant and stubborn. The Anubi are tall and lean, ranging from 5 and 1/2-6 and 1/2 feet tall and weigh around 100 to 200 pounds. Their skin tones range from tan, to dark brown. They have brown hair, often grown long and adorned with jewelry. The Anubi are a vein people, often putting aesthetics above function, however, this vanity also pushes them to stride for perfection.

Anubi Racial Bonus: -2 points of damage when taking fire damage

Human Racial Traits: +1 to all stats. Humans have a waling speed of 30 feet. Human Weapons training: proficient in Short swords, long bows, muskets, handaxes, light hammers, and medium armor. Humans can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of the players choice.
Human Classes: Rogue, Ranger, Barbarian, Warrior, Adventurer, Druid, Paladin, Cleric, Shaman.

Dragonborns
Dragonborns are split into several races, Gold, Bronze, Silver, and Copper. Most of the Dragonborns are not so dissimilar. They are honest, proud, and noble, but they are also persecuted by most of the other races. Dragonborns are fearsome warriors but also gifted artists. They can thrive in some of the most inhospitable environments and have the ability to take the forms of humans, a gift from Bahamut to improve their lives. Although they have the ability to blend in with Humans, most Dragonborns will not, finding it insulting to hide their true self from others. Dragonborns are known for their loyalty to the clan or community that they are in, putting the well being of others above themselves. Dragonborns are natoriously tall in stature, ranging from 6 feet to 7 feet tall and can weigh up to 300 pounds. Dragonborns are known to reside in certain areas due to their nature. Silver Dragonborn usually prefer a colder climate, while Gold Dragonborn prefer to live in the mountains and caves. Bronze Dragonborn prefer the tropics while Copper Dragonborns generally prefer arid, dry regions. Dragonborn are devoid of magic, but what they lack in magic, they make up for with their Dragon breath abilities. Dragonborns can live to be well over 400 years of age, they reach maturity at the age of 18.
Dragonborn racial abilities:
Gold Dragonborn: can create a fire breath of either 5ft by 60ft line or a 30ft cone, immune to fire damage, +2 to stealth checks
Silver Dragonborn: Can create an ice breath attack of a 30ft cone, immune to ice damage, capable of walking across frozen surfaces unhindered.
Copper Dragonborn: Can create a breath 5ft by 60ft line of acid. Immune to acid, +2 to acrobatics checks
Bronze Dragonborn: can create a breath attack of a 5ft by 60ft or lightning, immune to lightning damage, can breath under water.
+3 strength, +1 Con, Low light vision, no magic abilities.
Dragonborn breath: does 2d6 damage (This increases to 3d6 at level 3 and increases by 1d6 every third level). Th DC for the saving throw is 8+ your constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. Upon a successful saving throw, damage is halved.
Savage Critical: Upon critting, Add an extra damage dice.
Dragonborn have a base walking speed of 30 feet. Dragonborn can read, write, and speak Common and Draconic. Dragonborn walking speed is not hindered by Heavy armor. Dragonborn Training: Proficient in Pole arms, flails, Short swords, hand axes, light hammers, medium armor, and heavy armor.
Dragonborn classes: Paladin, Cleric, Ranger, Fighter, Barbarian.

Half-Elves
Half-Elves are of human and Elf blood. They are not always welcome in human lands, and are often spat on in Elven lands. As such, most Half-Elves live in Human cities, enjoying a lifespan like that of an elf as they watch their friends and loved ones age. Most Half-Elves are torn between the nature of their human side, valuing personal freedom and lives of others, and their natural yearning to increase their strengths. Because of this, they are often unpredictable, stubborn, and arrogant, looking down on the rules of others.
Half Elves Abilities: +2 to Charisma and +1 to two stats of your choice
Dark Vision or Eagle Vision
Dark Vision: thanks to the Elven blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light.
Eagle Vision: You gain the eyesight o f an eagle. You can
see up to 1 mile away with no difficulty, able to discern
even fine details as though looking at something no
more than 100 feet away from you. Additionally, dim
light doesn’t impose disadvantage on your Wisdom
(Perception) checks.
Fey Ancestry: You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
Age: Half-Elves live 200+ years, becoming mature at the age of 20.
Skill Versatility: Gain proficiency in two skills of your choice.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common, Elvish, and one other language of your choice.
Half-Elf Classes: Warrior, Ranger, Wizard, Druid, Paladin, Cleric, Adventurer

Half-Orcs:
Half Orcs are generally 5-7 feet tall, with grey or green pigmented skin. Physically they look like smaller, leaner orcs, but they look like Orcs none the less. Some Half-Orcs commit themselves to their Orc heritage, where others are ashamed of it.
Age: Half orcs have a life span of 100 years.
Speed: walking speed of 30 feet
Menacing: Gains proficiency in intimidation skill.
Relentless Endurance: When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
Half-Orc Stat bonus:+2 Strength, +1 Constitution, Relentless endurance
Languages: Can read, write, and speak Orc and Common
Half-Orc Classes: Warrior, Barbarian, Paladin, Shaman, Cleric, Ranger, Adventurer
