Last weekend my horse association had its first competition of the year! I competed in the show with my lesson horse, Dixie (I love that psyco animal sometimes). My best friend Val was there with me the whole day so she helped keep me calm when I left my show pants at home, forgot what class I was going into next, screwed up my presentation pattern(I actually did the pattern for the class after mine) or couldn't find my stuff (I lose a lot if my things 3nodding ).
The day went pretty well, I did worse than I normally do at shows(for some odd reason), but it was okay because I had so much fun that it didn't even bother me. I placed with a 3rd, three 4th, four 5th and two 6th (normally I would have been a little better). During both the Halter and the Presentation class I was laughing because I kept messing up (It was funny!). And as I mentioned in my other entry, I do western reining. So this year I did both Green Reiner and Debutant Reining. Debutant reiner I scored 63 points and in Green reiner I scored 64.5 and got a fourth place. It was one of my best runs ever, but the judge wasn't the best... well judge I've ever met either. But man did I ever have fun! heart blaugh
