OctoCamo's Diary
I write here what I please and act like someone cares.
Not much has happened in my life like usual.

Went to see Rogue One: The Star Wars Story today. I thought it was pretty good, though not as good as most main Episodes. It was bit of a bummer to watch the movie knowing what the fate had in store for our new bunch of heroes.
I bought ten movie tickets for next year and will try to buy few more since I get them for free as the benefit from my last workplace. Hopefully next year will be as good as this one with Deadpool, Captain America: Civil War, Kubo and the Two Strings, Suicide Squad and Star Trek Beyond to name a few ones I enjoyed. Can't really think of many movies coming next year that I'm interested in right now besides Ghost in the Shell and Moana (which won't come out here until February).

I also watched all of the Vikings, it's pretty good and I look forward to the new episodes, but I don't understand how anyone would think it's better than Game of Thrones... Also happy that The Walking Dead is back, Negan's my favorite. Also even more The Walking Dead goodness coming with Telltale's TWD Season 3 starting soon.

So, to the usual purchase log stuff I've been doing.

I got a chance to go to Gamestop again last month, though didn't find much that interested me.
I bought a Fallout poster, Five Nights at Freddy's Foxy keychain and Final Fantasy playing cards.
Love the Foxy and will definitely buy more of the FF cards when I visit Gamestop next time, they're pretty cool.

Bought a bunch of games on Black Friday though. Skyrim and Fallout 4 I don't see myself replaying anyday soon on XBO, but they were cheap and I am curious to check out some mods. Syndicate I rebought, had sold my previous copy and now it was up for less again. Maybe I'll sell this one for profit too... Maybe not.
I really enjoyed the first Titanfall at launch, so I'm pretty excited for Titanfall 2, but it's not super high on my queue. But when brand new title is down to 30, I'll buy it no questions asked.

Had pre-ordered couple Zelda Anniversary amiibos and they released this month. Had kind of forgotten about them. Was disappointed that they didn't have special villagers for Animal Crossing: A New Leaf - Welcome Amiibo, just recycles from previous Zelda amiibos... Had I known that I probably would've kept them boxed.

The Welcome Amiibo update for Animal Crossing got me back into the game for a while, bought Amiibo Festival for 20 for 2 amiibos and three cards and then I've bought few packs of the Amiibo cards. Also Pokemon Moon, the steelbook edition was like 2 euros more than regular, so went with it. My first and probably last 3DS steelbook.

Really liked the new generation of Pokemon, to an extent that I completed the Pokedex, which I haven't done since the first generation. Pretty happy about it. This isn't the moon version seen above though, but Sun which I bought digitally from Australian eshop, because Nintendo pushed EU release for Sun and Moon by like a week for absolutely no reason given... Had completed it by the time I got my European Moon version I had pre-ordered...

My next adventure will be in Final Fantasy XV.

Since I ended up buying the Deluxe Edition with the really cool steelbook. Also has the Kingsglave movie, which I haven't watched yet, even though I really should. Wasn't hyped about this game until earlier this year when they released the trailer with Stand By Me, which just rubbed me the right way. I like the small Thank You note with all the team's signature (printed ofc). It's a nice touch. It's the second thank you note I've ever got with a game.

One of the Asian retailers I order games from made a bundle for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 that came with the mousepad and artbook from the ridiculously expensive collector's edition for pretty decent price, so ended up buying it. I HEARD IT'S GENUINELY GOOD GAME AND NOT AT ALL ALL ABOUT BOOBS! I SWEAR!

Also ordered my first Loot Gaming since they had Holiday sales. Just few items, but really liked the Okami and Castlevania items, which were the franchises I ordered it for. It also had hidious s**t chibi Dragon Age figurine and a neat long-sleeved Assassin's Creed shirt.

I've been holding out on buying Space Dandy Season 2 collector's edition for a while because it's been like £60, which is ridiculous. But I got it for about 30 euros from Black Friday sales, so decided to finally get it. The second season was AMAZING and really is what got Space Dandy to my favorite anime list. Wish I'll get a chance to buy third box set of Kill la Kill someday too for decent price, it's another one I've been avoiding because of ridiculous price, even though I really want it...

I knew there was some art cards, but I didn't know there was such a big pile of them. And they're actually pretty neat.

Also finally got The Art of Metal Gear Solid V. Bit of a disappointment, way too much of it was location art. The character and concept art didn't have all that much stuff that weren't already in the Japanese collector's edition's artbook or the guide's art section... The Zelda comic might have been in earlier journal entries, but it was recently followed by another comic album of manga that ran in Nintendo Power, Super Mario Adventures. I loved following these two series on Finnish version of Nintendo Power back when I was a kid. Also like always more Jojo.

And for the future self, I'll try to start a new thing and link some videos I've been hooked for around the journal entries since youtube recommendations and watch again suggestions are garbage that I'm literally watching right now...

Ermes Costello - KISS (JJBA Musical Leitmotif) (And White Snake one)
Caravan Palace - Lone Digger
