Lateral thinking is a fairly new term, and one I haven't seen applied to MLM lead generation yet - but it should be. Genius marketer Jay Abraham has been using lateral thinking to solve sticky problems like "how to get more MLM leads" for years, with incredible success.

In this article we look at how a genius like Jay Abraham might use lateral thinking to solve the problem of MLM lead generation, and show you how you can do exactly that yourself.

Lateral thinking simply means using a creative and indirect approach to solving problems; in some cases using solutions or logic from one system to solve the problem occurring in another system is used in lateral thinking. How might lateral thinking apply to the problem of MLM lead generation?

"Ok," he might think, "So for years people have been trying to get MLM leads through traditional methods. Buying the MLM lead, finding pre-made lists of MLM leads, and so on.

"However, the MLM lead business is only ONE instance of an industry out there than needs a constant flow of fresh, qualified, good leads. What other industry might we look to to solve the MLM lead problem?"

And here is where lateral thinking comes in...

"Ok, let's take a look at this. Would this same method that internet marketers use for building lists of leads for free (or practically nothing), work for MLM lead generation also? The answer is Yes, it would."
