This week didn’t have a whole lot happen. Then again, that is pretty much every week for me. This week I got to play on the wii with my room mate. His arm was (and still is) hurting though, so we both played with our non-dominant hand, because his dominant hand/arm is injured. It was fun playing with him and he had fun too. We haven’t played together for a long time so it was really nice to be able to. In sword play I let him win at least once because I kept beating him and felt bad about it, and when we got into bowling he kicked my a** the first game. Really strange since he was using his wrong arm. And when he got tired of playing he sat down and I showed him what cycling was like on the wii. He can’t play it now of course, but I’m hoping when he gets better that he will be able to. Its exhausting, but I think it would be funny to see him try to steer the bike.

In other news, I am unfortunately starting to fall back into my old lazy ways. I’ve let my little project I wanted to do slide, so I still haven’t finished it, and I’ve been putting off things simply because I don’t want to do them. It is very hard not to be lazy when that is what a person has been used to their whole life. Yeah, I know, “duh”. I will make a promise to myself to finish that little project before next week’s journal entry though. It isn’t all that much work because there isn’t much left to do, so I should be able to do it.

There is another issue: the inspection. It happens once every six months so it should happen next month, I have to rearrange the entire house by myself to be ready for it. Even on my best days I can’t do that. There are things simply too heavy for me to move, so I can’t actually do the work I need to do to prepare for the inspection. What am I supposed to do without my room mate’s help? If we fail this up coming one they could kick us out, and it would be all my fault because I didn’t do everything. However, I can’t do everything, but I’m the only one who can work around here… We’re screwed…

Lastly, I guess I’ll mention I wrote myself into a corner in one of my writing projects. Basically, the character ran into the center of a crowd of thousands to get other characters, and because there are thousands of people around they can’t get back out. I could put a underground tunnel in, but how would any of them know about it? Can you say “plot hole”? Maybe lanes where they traveled to the center through the crowd are still open? Hmm… I’ll ask in the writer’s forum for help if I can’t figure out what to do…
