Working. Ha. Last night was crazy. Praying tonight is better. I always pray that the dinner is something appealing to the residents. If they like it - there won't be special orders. xd

Was asked to add 4 hrs ish to my shift tomorrow. Finding out if I can get a ride to do so (and then if it's dishes or what). So maybe.. possibly.. I could get double time for working on New Year's.

And I am trying to print out my application so that it "looks professional" aka I have to readjust the margins. It makes me laugh how this is the "letter sized" American printer friendly version - and still the margins are too wide for the bottom. Oh well, at least I think it will be an easy fix. (i hope and pray!) And maybe the emblem would like to print out. I had to send a 2nd email to ask about the emblem specifically - because all she said was "no color is fine - just professional looking". I might be running around like crazy on January 2nd - to get color ink to print this crazy thing, make copies, sign them all, and mail them to Korea. Oh my word. Actually come to think of it -- I need to make sure I have the correct mailing address. I believe it's in the required documents .docx.

Last night I had a sudden terror - I could really be going.
The thought of leaving people for a year is scary. And going somewhere where I can't say "chicken" or "eggs" or even "rice". At least I can say their word for ramen. Oh and I know their word for meat. (thank you Kumiho show!) I'm also very glad I love soy sauce and seaweed things.
It was annoying me that my mom will be gone for 2 weeks - during which time I'm trying to process all of this. And there's a baby I might not get to meet. (and then supposedly sometime at the end of january or february my grandmother is possibly coming here? because my uncle is going out of town for his annual reenactments) It feels crazy and surreal.

Mom asked me on the phone when I was handing in my 2 weeks notice. ^-^ It's nice to know that my parents don't have a problem with my quitting. (i mean yes i have another job lined up, but yeah, it's a crazy far away one) I've never actually quit a job before. I've only ever had temporary positions like seasonal. I liked being a homework grader - but I could only grade while that class was going, and it was only offered in the fall semesters. xd So yeah. New experiences abound!
So I also have to figure out how to write this quitting thing, and how to say it to my boss's face. I should pray now.
