I want you when you're not around

I need you when you're mine

So bad sometimes that not seeing you

Makes me wanna give up

I need to say those words out loud

But I'm so afraid to tell you what's on my mind

Because that would mean I couldn't be steady

Or the shoulder to cry on, the one you look up to

But sometimes I get weak

And I need someone too

I won't say a thing cause it doesn't seem important

Until it is and then it's too late

But then I've already given up
