Out of this World
The world had become a vortex, a black hole of screaming darkness. Nothing exhisted or ever had, nothing but the endless space and the rushing emptiness met the eyes or ears. What was the point of a bodily form when there was no stimulation to tell you that you even exhisted? Darkness, burned with its void an infinite space so endless that there was no begining. The must have once been something more. With a tremendous scream the would was suddenly there again all around and coming up fast. A rolling stretch of green and dark blue, whisps of white swirled alongs its surface the perfect orb so lovely that it glowed in the dark void of space. The journey was almost over and soon the passenger would be safe. For too long the small ship had struggled through the vortex in order to deliver its one passenger. Of course it was battered and on its last leg the sight of earth the only thing keeping it from falling apart. A horrible shock rocked the ship as a laser fire missed its tail end by mere inches breaking the small vessel's course and sending it for a crash course with the land. The pursuing vessel seemed satisfied with its work and dropped back to see where the small battered thing would crash. In side she had felt the close call like a small blow and the jolt began to wake her from her long slumber. Meanwhile the small vessel that carried her struggled to right its course but it was doomed. Creating a force feild big enough to lessen the impact it attempted to protect its sleeping passenger. In a flash of bright fire the ship hit the atmosphere and began to heat up the turbulance disturbing her even further that is until the ship hit the earth with such a loud crash that she was forced from her slumber and into wakefulness and with it came physical form. Bright impossible blue eyes opened onto the earth. Nothing could have prepaired her for the devastation that met her eyes. Her ship was nothing but melting slag and a broken control panel, all around her as a barely there force feild flickered and died. With a heart wrenching sob she sat up and looked with absolute despair around her at the smoking crater created by her impact. Bits of her beloved ship lay broken and lifeless all around. Using a trembling hand she stroked the last remains of her control panel the lights already dim and fading too fast for her to save and so with a shuddering sound almost like a sigh the ship died and a horrible screeching siren filled the air. Shocked she looked up as strange metal monsters circled her crater, brigth lights flashed and humaniod creatures, earthlings, poured out. "Surrender now!" they yelled at her and she complied with some confusion. Her name was TetraZeousChi and she was of the race of the Crisislias that lived in a part of deep space that all so had a star like the sun as a matter of fact they had two such stars and shared their system with another race. The Titarians were the complete opposite of the Crisislias and often waged war for the simple pleasure of conquering everything in sight which they had all except the Crisislias. Which was probably why they had attacked an exploration ship with the Crisislias Dea, a word which in their world roughly translates to mean queen or mother, in an attempt to gain an early advantage in a surprise war. TetraZeousChi, Tetra for short, had managed to escape the attack but the Titarians had cut her off from her home so her ship had done the only thing it could, taken her to the next planet inhabited with intellegent life. Of course how intelligent the life was was still up for debate in Tetra's mind. Gazing unhappily at the humans that scurried back and forth in front of her see through cage which held a small bed and little else. They watched her all the time as if she would do something but she never did. Tetra had noticed one of the humans who watched her seemed more interested then the others in believing she was not the begining of an invasion force from Mars. Tetra had been to Mars and could safely assure the humans that there would be no invasion from there any time soon. The race of that particular planet was currently rebuilding after they had accidently blown up the surface of their planet more then six million years ago. Sitting cross legged on her small bed Tetra felt the worry that had been steadily building in her gut stir uneasily. She knew that the Titarian ship that had shot her down would soon find her since the human's technology was not adavanced enough to hide her life signature from the Titarian scans, if she had her own equipment she would have been able to hide but the humans had taken it from her when they captured her. Sighing heavily she laid down to sleep and it felt like moments later when she was woken by screaming. For a horrible moment she was back in the midst of the attack on her own people but the humans running back and forth soon cleared up her confusion. "Its the invasion!" one screamed hysterically pulling a gun and pointing it at Tetra "We should kill her before they get here." Tetra eyed the primative weapon unhappily then spoke for the first time since her capture. "The Titarians are not my people and they are not yet invading your planet right now they are after me and if you don't release me I will be unable to help you." What ever the humans might have replied was cut off as one of the walls exploded outward and a Titarian battle driod stepped in. The human that had caught Tetra's attention before suddenly raced forward and put his hand to the scanner that would open her cell door. "Now help us!" he cried out. Tetra did not hesitate to do just that. With a flick of her wrist her weapon flew into her hand . Firing at the driod she grabbed the human who had released her and pulled him to cover with her still firing at the driod her weapon causing clear damage when even the human's most powerful gun did nothing. "The driod is only a herald the Titarians will be here soon we must destroy th driod quickly or we will be killed." She shouted to the human her lyrical voive speaking english prefectly but with a strange accent. Pushing the human down further into cover she stood and fired repeatedly at the driod's head until it exploded. "Move, human we don't have much time!" she grabbed his arm and began to pull him towards the hole in the wall when a shadow fell over the rubble and the humans beheld a Titarian for the first time.
((PM to continue please. I would prefer if you would reply as either the human who released her or the Titarian who is attacking them. Thanks for reading.))
