(^been feeling very irritated by the whole minnesotan accent thing and the like... noticed that a few people have a VERY distinct one (especially when saying stuff like "joke" and "you betcha"... har, har, har.))
yesterday, first day back at work in a month, of course get treated like crap by the lady who usually treats me as such, but I didn't much care because right as I was getting started I got a phone call from the newspaper saying that they'd like to offer me the job!! whee
so i was pretty much floating on a cloud all night, and musing about how it all will work.
fer serious, this summer's turning out to be busy.
cleaning job mon-wed-fri each week, on those days I will be at the newspaper a few hours ahead of time.
20 hours a week, with the freaky schedule I have.
Let's try this.
on another note, i'm almost into reading again. i've decided that it doesn't work for me to read off a compy screen like i thought it would, so now i need to find a paperback version of some stuff i wanna read...
been thinking some utopia-type stuff sounds intriguing. like the Truesight series or The Giver... probably something like Brave New World this time around. ;P

refuse to wear either dress i wore to prom because they're both lace-ups (plus katie still has my other one, now that i think of it...), so i'm wearing the poopy $7 one i got from Goodwill~ musing about how to dress it up...

every time i think about the pattern and such, it changes slightly.
sometimes it has straps and the like; othertimes, a haltertop using the pattern I've already drafted.

thinking of having a separate detachable petticoat-type deal underneath, instead of attaching the whole thing.

EVEN musing about if I want to make two, and just have a shorter version (knee-length) for other stuffs.

welp, almost 9A.
realized i only have today and tomorrow as class-time for trig, then from there I start at the newspaper around 11-ish.
so I need to finish all of the homework thus far this morning, then take a quick shower before heading off to class, then coming back home and musing my fate with the brown dress until 3:15 or 3:30 or so, pictures, and then i guess we'll see from there.
hoping some tuesdays I can go to Dog Project... this past tuesday I went there to pick up my engraved leash from last year (the "Most Improved 2010" thing) and just watched agility...
and realized how much i miss it. :/
so! they said I can come back anytime just for the night and run Garth through the course. :3
