so last night in my dream I played a board game, I don't think I have played it before
It is called City Skapes
basic elements: board character card and character piece single deck of cards several six sided dice
the board: is rather large, about an arm's length long, folds in the six section pattern, Is a downward shot of a city, has about 100-200 spaces on it, part of the fun was trying to find useful spaces for your character and exploring the map. the spaces are quite random but grouped together kinda, there are districts and space types, each district has three space types, my character spent most their time in the garbage district, which has trash, refuse, and reclaimation or something like that, there are other districts such as police and hospital and crime which each had their corresponding three break down. all the spaces had random effects and interactions, example: a refuse pile would allow you to pick up 10 cards and add up the numbers on each card the five highest cards would be discarded and you could add the remaining 5 to your hand, a few of the spaces were victory locations where you had to full fill an abundance check to win the game, it had a number and a specific item type you needed, the one I landed on had refuse with the symbol paper, you add up the number on the tops of the cards that match the symbol and hope that you have enough, if your number is high enough you win, if you are slightly lower you have the option of rolling dice to see if you win, I cant remember exactly how the dice worked, I think it was something about rolling the same number as how many are left on the card and hoping to roll all higher than a specific number, I think you also got to add some numbers from your character card
character card: was basically same size as other cards but had a name and pic of character, and had a list of several stats lvl 1-3 which would help your character in different parts of the game
deck of cards: had two basic groups of cards, point cards and action cards, point cards named an item and had a picture of it and usually had three resource type with symbols along the top with different numbers on each of them and could be laid immediately in your stash to be used later for abundance checks, action cards you kept in your hand and had various actions that could help you and/or hurt other players, I don't remember what any of these were, all the cards had pictures on them, the pictures were black outlines on white cards with no color
Yah so the game was kinda fun, but I did not get to really see the interaction of characters and fully into play, or what most of the spaces or actions do, so I am missing a large part of the game, I don't even know how I moved my character I think it was just one space a round which would be kinda lame or maybe it was discard cards to move or something
